Broadstone in the Financial District is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff are immediately apparent. This place boasts an extensive menu, great drinks, and delicious food. Their special burger is a must-try, and the crispy tuna bites and Wall Street Caesar salad are perfect for sharing. With great service as well, this is the kind of place that makes you want to stay all night. Cheers to good company and great vibes! ALSO: Their BURGER OF THE MONTH: The Smokey Enoki Burger: this things packs a punch with a beef patty, fried mushroom, smoked Swiss cheese, and roasted garlic aioli. The fries and cognac peppercorn sauce to accompany make for the perfectly rounded dish! Very impressive and a must order on the menu while you can!!

The service was great and everyone was very friendly attending to us. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Bison Burger it was a bit over cooked and way too sweet for my taste but I hope to come back and give them another try.

Stopped into Broadstone Bar & Kitchen for lunch while staying across the street during a work trip, and it ended up being a great find. I was able to grab a seat at the bar during the day with no issues, and the service was excellent, quick, friendly, and super accommodating. I had my laptop with me and was able to get some work done while enjoying a perfectly poured Guinness. For lunch, I went with the blackened chicken wrap, which was delicious. The seasoning was just right, and whatever cheese they used, maybe feta?, was a great touch that pulled the whole thing together. The atmosphere is laid-back but lively, with plenty of TVs if you're looking to catch a game, and enough space that it doesn't feel cramped. Whether you're looking for a casual, quick bite, a solid dinner, or a place to hang out with drinks, Broadstone checks all the boxes. As someone who stays in the area for work, I'll 100% be back. It's a great go-to for solo dining, watching sports, getting a little work done, or just relaxing with a good meal and drink. Great experience overall.

The all American was tons of food for a reasonable price! We made a rez for brunch but didn't need to, it won't be crowded at that time. Nice vibe inside, I like that it's multiple floors. Good service too, a bit slow to give us water right when we sat down but was smooth sailing after that!

Enjoyed it here. Cali wrap (without bacon) was really nice and filling. Lots of potatoes came with it. Staff were lovely too, will go back for brunch!

This was a cute little bar. There's no rooftop per se, but the second level had a great view if you're looking for that type of atmosphere. Our servers were great. We had a quick lunch here. I just had a drink and the buffalo chicken spring rolls. The rolls were good. I didn't too much care for the dipping sauce. Overall, nice spot. And within walking distance to our hotel downtown.

Great vibes! Food was amazing and so was the staff. Came in for brunch just before we cruised the Statue of Liberty and I must say it did not disappoint

Love this place. Gem location across from double tree hotel with local brews, full bar, food and mocktails. Try the Brooklyn pilsner. 10 for night ambience

Stopped at Broadstone for a little bite/appetizer the other day around 12:30p. Was pretty shocked we were the only ones in there eating, but by 1p the place was packed. Ordered the margarita flatbread and it was pretty tasty! Wish it had more basil but that's minor. Service was quick (as I should have been as we were only customers for a bit), and price was not terrible. They had a bunch that sounded good on their menu so I'll definitely come back again.

    MOLD!
    Amanda W.

Came here with my family while on vacation and unfortunately ended up with a moldy sandwich. My mom and I both ordered the club, but because the lighting was pretty dim, we didn't notice the mold until I'd already eaten half of mine. I told her to stop eating right away. My dad had the burger and said his was good, but honestly, I wouldn't come back after that experience. The place itself has a really cute atmosphere and would make a nice date night spot, but they seriously need to check their ingredients before serving. On the bright side, our server was super kind and handled the situation professionally.

Great stop to make while in FiDi- added bonus that they were decorated for the holidays! The drinks were great & fries were delicious. Glad we found this place! Hope to be back soon!

I used to go to Broadstone for drinks and bites fairly often... I realized it had been a while since my last time there, so I figured I'd revisit. I brought my partner on a Friday night, and it was fairly quiet. We each ended up getting a holiday cocktail. While I liked mine, it was served with so much ice inside the glass that it ended up being only a few sips of actual cocktail... Definitely not worth $17 each. The service was friendly and fast, but I can't get past the price tag for what we got.

The staff were very hospitable and helpful, giving suggestions on what to order and telling us about some of the preparation, like the brine for the fried chicken that incorporates tea for flavour. We had the Caviar Tater Tots ($29), which were tasty and a fun concept, but I thought a little pricey. We shared the fried chicken ($36), which I also thought was high, even for Tribeca. I wish there had been more than two hushpuppies, which I enjoyed. The fried chicken was very juicy and I liked the spices used in the coating. My friend was celebrating her birthday, which I told the manager about on the D.L. He had the waitress bring a big piece of the bread pudding and put a candle in it. My friend was completely surprised and chuffed. The bread pudding was dense, but not heavy and delicious. It reminded us a little of kugel. I appreciated them gifting the dessert: a very thoughtful gesture. I'd like to go back to try a cocktail, the crab dip and the lobster roll (but preferably with someone else picking up the tab).

It delivered on both fronts, but I really was blown away by the wine. The sheer quantity of available wines is really impressive, and the sommelier was able to recommend a rare wine that fit our interests (a fantastic, effervescent, creamy Txakoli that had lovely fruit and minerals). Later, I tried amazing ice cider. The food rundown: -Sesame pizza Bianca: complimentary bread! This was very good and quite sizable. The bottom is entirely encrusted with sesame. -Scallop crudo (rhubarb, shiso): very good and the plating was gorgeous. Meaty scallops with tangy and pungent flavors. -Snowdance chicken (spinach, sherry, thyme): Super tender, crispy-skinned chicken in a savory sherry sauce. -Sea bass (asparagus, hollandaise): I was surprised at how remarkably well this dish worked. The asparagus was so good with the rich, buttery sauce. Definitely a smaller portion, but the chicken was huge so it balanced out. -Potatoes with ramps: Yum. Served hashbrown-style and the ramps were added as little sauce dollops. I loved the space, and by that I mean the ambience and also the literal amount of space we had to ourselves. We got to stretch out in a roomy corner booth. The room featured a lot of exposed brick and grey and utilitarian ceilings, but it manages to be cozy all the same.

Chambers is a charming, intimate restaurant with a warm, compact dining room, an ample bar area,…read moreand even two chef's-kitchen bar seats that give the room a little extra theater. Unfortunately, the food never really lived up to the setting. The meal started with the scallops with sweet corn and espelette. They were fine, which ended up being one of the more positive assessments of the night. My father had the Peekytoe crab with peach and brioche, which was also okay. My mother had the Norwich Meadows carrots with yogurt and carrot-top pesto, and that was where the meal started feeling flat. Nothing was technically offensive, but there was very little excitement or depth to the plate. Portions were consistently small, which became harder to ignore as the meal went on. For mains, my father ordered the heritage pork sausage with shrimp, Jimmy Nardello peppers and cilantro. The dish only really came together when you got the sausage and pepper in the same bite, but there was very little of it, and on its own the sausage was not especially compelling. I ordered the Snowdance chicken with spinach, sherry and thyme, which is apparently one of the restaurant's signature dishes. My father and I switched halfway through because he liked the chicken more than I did. I found it surprisingly weak: essentially a pounded chicken preparation that was bland, average and nowhere near what I would expect from a signature entrée at this price. My mother had the housemade bucatini with zucchini, Tarentaise and mint. It was strange rather than satisfying, and none of us particularly liked it. Service was much better than the food. Our server was good, and the secondary service was even better. They did forget one of my father's drinks, but replaced it without issue. I still left 22% because the kitchen's problems were not the server's fault. Dessert finally produced the best dish of the night: the mascarpone with phyllo, cinnamon caramel and lemon pistachios. That was genuinely good. I then figured I would order the cheese because, at minimum, how badly can you mess up cheese? The answer was not badly, exactly, but absurdly. The "cheese and crackers" course was two small pieces of Appalachian cheese for the table. Two pieces. For three people. That pretty much captured the meal. The restaurant has obvious Gramercy Tavern DNA in its restraint, seasonal ingredients and minimalist plating, but this felt like a much less successful version of that philosophy. When this style works, simplicity feels precise and confident. Here, too often, it just felt sparse, underdeveloped and expensive. For three people, with appetizers, entrées, three cocktails, one glass of wine, dessert, cheese and tip, the total came to roughly $472. At that price, "fine" is not enough. 2/5
