The food and ambiance were impeccable. I arrived around 9:50 pm on a Friday night, just in time to experience the dj for a few sets, the vibes and music were everything. My server, Ana was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the entire menu. Lastly, the food....i ordered the oysters, truffle fries, French onion soup, Parker house rolls, and strawberry bloom mocktail and I ate every single bite. AMAZING all around 10/10

Came in on a Sunday afternoon for high tea with my friend. All the decor was super cute and our table was promptly ready. Super cute alternative to a boozy brunch.

Very cute lounge at the Wall Street Hotel. I wandered in on a Sunday afternoon and grabbed a seat by the window. I was able to chill here and have a lovely afternoon sipping champagne and having a bump of caviar. Service was pretty standard..crowd was mixed. Loved the quiet atmosphere and would def stop back in

Absolutely my new fave, nearby cafe & recommended hotel. Stunning stunning posh! A place for the elegant, dainty, & well paid. The service should catch up to its appeal however. No waiter came to ask did I want to order. A waiter later came asking did my fries ever come. When I said 'no' she apologized then returned stating they'd been sitting in the window & she's not sure why they never brought them to me. What?! I asked her why would she then deliver me cold fries?? Of course I want hot, fresh fries. She leaves the cold ones & returns later with fresh hot fries & fresh ketchup. Then another waiter came by, reaching over us to grab the menu. No 'excuse me', no greeting. Initially we thought sarcastically we could no longer order, and reaching is rude without announcing. He did so to every table, I noticed. All things considered, the fries were amazing. Fairly priced at $6. I mean of course I love $3.99 priced fries from McDonald's, but many bars/restaurants charge more than $8 for fries that aren't this tasty so I'll say it's reasonable. I must say, the sandwich meal looks perfect although $23 I believe...still plan to try it on my next visit. Good food & ambiance will win me over every time. I'd love to be invited here for content. So my style!

I have lived in the Financial District for about 13 years now. It was a long wait for a place like this. I can definitely say it was worth the wait. The Lounge on Pearl has become a real favorite of ours. It is a warm and welcoming environment, with exceptional lighting, beautiful colors, and a sophisticated yet comfortable vibe. Plenty of cozy seating options, great people watching, and even live jazz in the evenings on some nights! There is a nice cocktail menu. The lounge also serves food (a limited selection) taken from the menu of the hotel's restaurant, La Marchande. (If you aren't famished, I would suggest skipping the food and trying another restaurant in the neighborhood. If you are famished, keep it simple. The burger is fine.) I think the most important thing about the place for us as locals is the warm greeting and friendly service we get from the staff. We have come to feel very at home at the Lounge, and are treated with great kindness and attentive service. While it's always hard to pick out individuals for specific recognition when everybody is terrific, there are three people that absolutely must get "shout outs." Motts, Juli, and Tina. Motts is an outstanding bartender. He has that perfect combination of skills that makes customers happy. He is obviously a talented and efficient bartender. But maybe more importantly, his warm smile and easy manner with customers makes for great experiences for visitors. I usually sit at one of the tables in the lounge, but enjoy watching him interact with hotel guests and other locals enjoying themselves at the bar. Juli and Tina are two of the best servers you can ask for in what has become a VERY VERY busy place. They manage to keep an eye on the entire room no matter how busy it is, and you never feel like you are wanting or waiting for anything. You know how it typically is in a super busy "hot" spot when your drink is empty or you'd like to order something and you're not getting any eye contact from anyone? Well, the complete opposite happens here. Juli is incredible at anticipating needs and is on top of it before you even have to ask. This is so refreshing. They are both really like hosts, making sure you feel at home. I think they are the gems in the crown of this hotel's beautiful lounge. New York City can be a tough place with difficult, overly-entitled, and demanding customers at times. One of the things that makes Juli and Tina so special is how calm they are in situations like this. I have witnessed Tina running the show on many nights as the only server in a full house of customers....making conversation with guests, attentive, welcoming, and never seeming rushed or overwhelmed despite the demands. I have also witnessed her dealing with very challenging customers with tremendous grace and professionalism....customers that doubtlessly would have caused others to lose it. Not Tina. She is the ultimate professional....the perfect combination of server, ambassador, politician, and host, multitasking and yet leaving you feeling like you are the focus. This is a real skill. The entire team is fantastic, and as you can see, going there is about more than just the drinks. It's about the experience. This team is well-oiled perfection! Great work by The Wall Street Hotel curating this group of fantastic young people!

Gorgeous new hotel and equally gorgeous lounge & bar area. Stopped by over the weekend around brunch time, although they didn't have brunch menu, they had of snacks and mains to try, including omelette. I tried the club which came with frites, they were very crispy, just the way I like. Have to comeback to try others on the menu + their main resto on the other side of hotel. Extensive list of drink menu. My latte was $9, they didn't have coffee and tea menu provided. Being that latte was $9, I wouldn't really recommend latte since it was just ok at best and wasn't that good. There are plenty of other gourmet coffee shops in nyc, (NYrs are coffee snobs and spoiled lol).

I had an incredible experience at the Lounge on Pearl - from service to food to drinks and everything in between. I would highly recommend for hotel guests and those in the area. A work trip had me at the Wall Street Hotel, and given the pouring rain, I decided to grab a bar stool at the Lounge to get some food after a long work day rather than wander around downtown. Sabina the bartender was incredibly gracious as it took me a long time to decide what to order - despite a short food menu, almost everything sounded good (and in corporate budget!). I separately decided to indulge in a drink--when in New York--and asked Sabina for input on martinis, as I've only had a few and wanted some advice. She pointed me to a menu selection (the Aquitaine) based on the martinis I'd had and liked (relatively dry with a twist) and it did not disappoint, which rendered her offer to make another if I didn't like it fully moot. It was a wonderfully made gin martini with just enough sweet/dry balance that went perfectly with food. I will also say the classic dry martini with a twist was a perfect after dinner drink. Add in the rain through the windows, large florals on the bar, and high-ceiling ambiance of the bar and it was a very New York fantasy evening. For food, I had the escarole Caesar with chicken paillard and also the Vietnamese meatballs. Both were excellent and in great contrast - there were 5 meatballs but they were quite dense (in a good way) and packed with sharp flavor, coupled with a wonderful crunch. The salad was 1) far more plentiful than met the eye and 2) a great textural and flavor play, with the bitterness of the endive, escarole, and I think radicchio balanced by the crumble, croutons, and dressing. The staff was truly the highlight, though - Sabina was wonderfully helpful and attentive as described, but the other bartender (whose name I regrettably did not catch) was very friendly, the manager (Sheldon) was great to chat with, and I observed the staff deal with some difficult situations (a hotel guest fell asleep in the Lounge, perhaps from overconsumption, and a large party in the private room was antsy about their food arriving) with abundant grace and calm. I was thoroughly impressed by the Lounge on Pearl and hope to say at this hotel again so that I can pay the Lounge another visit.

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. Tucked into the Financial District, this spot blends old New York history with some of the best cocktails in the city--and it's easy to see why it's been named "World's Best Bar" more than once. The name itself has a wild backstory, inspired by a notorious 19th-century Irish-American gang from Five Points. It adds a layer of character to the place, but what really keeps people coming back is the atmosphere and the drinks. The space is split into two levels: a two lively, sawdust-floored Taprooms downstairs and a more refined Parlor upstairs if you're in the mood for a quieter, cocktail-focused experience. Drinks are the real highlight here. The Irish Coffee is widely considered one of the best in the world--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with whiskey, coffee, and fresh cream. They also get creative with variations like a frozen version and even an Irish Coffee martini. If you want something different, the "Act Naturally" is a standout, mixing Irish whiskey with Guinness and fig in a way that works. Food is just as impressive for a bar. The lobster deviled eggs (topped with caviar) are a must-try, and the menu leans into elevated comfort food. Overall, The Dead Rabbit nails the balance between historic charm and modern cocktail excellence. The D.R. is one of those places that is never boring and consistently delivers.
