I did not order food, but it looked good (gastropub style). The service was excellent and staff experienced and professional. The ambiance was spot on. Sort of a speakeasy vibe and the music was upbeat. The drinks were awesome!

This was such a great little cocktail lounge!!! I strolled in on a weekday evening and it was somewhat busy but not so busy I couldn't snag a seat at the bar. I only had drinks this evening but their food looked delicious too! The bartenders were very friendly and attentive to my needs. One of them even fulfilled my request for a REAL clover club--something I especially appreciated. The lighting was on the dimmer side--perfect!--and ambiance was on point, too. Amazing lounge that I highly recommend to travelers who want refreshing and well-balanced cocktails!

Fabulous drinks. Freshest juices made on site. Great staff. Highly recommend. So good going back again today,,

Went for the autumn tippler so this is very restrictive review. Loved the service and the vibe. Got the tippler special. It was a refreshing drink and idk what was in it lol Their French fries ate soo good though. I judge a restaurant by how they treat their potatoes so will probably be back for food and drinks for sure

Went for happy hour on a Friday evening around 5:30 and it was packed. They have an awesome happy hour deal $15 for a drink and a chicken sandwich. The sandwich was a good size and came out pretty quickly. I watched as the bartenders made unique looking cocktails; I'll definitely have to check out one of those next time.

Solid Happy Hour fried chicken sandwich and beer or glass of wine for $15! Options for burger or poke taco as well on happy hour- but the chicken sandwich is where it's at. We wanted to order a second glass of wine but ended up with leftover meals for a second day instead because it was the same price during happy hour! Atmosphere on a Wednesday night was chill and relaxed, not too loud or difficult to hear conversations, with enough space not to feel crowded. Service was right on the alcohol drink refills and a little behind on the water refills. Definitely give those hand cut Parmesan fries with truffle aioli a try as well.

Cozy lounge good music nice vibe. I asked The bartender if they have red breast he said no so I got a Jameson. I've been spotted red breast on the shelf and pointed that out to him so he poured me a red breast but only charged me for one drink which was the right thing to do.

I am so enamored with Cedar Local, I had to update my review. Actually, visiting a business a few times allows an individual to form a solid opinion. My opinion has not changed about Cedar Local. It is fantastic and after bragging about it to my friend, she was up for visiting a couple nights ago. I got there first. Luckily I did because it was entirely filled a short while later. Our waitress was very attentive (maybe too much as she asked every 20 minutes or so if we were doing okay) and offered some suggestions. Here's a promise---Cedar Local serves some of the best cocktails--ever. Their menu is mind boggling. They offer special cocktails, old and new money cocktails and finally traditional ones (make sure to Google before selecting because there isn't a description for this category). Think Brown Derby (huh?) and Pimm's Cup. By the way, the waitress didn't know either. Rest assured beer and wine lovers, Cedar Local has much to offer My friend and I fell in love with the Papi Verde cocktail. Jalapeno infused Mezcal with cucumber and herbs. Refreshing, very spicy, delicious and green! But Cedar Local also has a wonderful food menu. We selected: *fried calamari because who doesn't love the decadent ringlets of squid accompanied with a side sauce? *the mushroom flatbread. Absolutely, hands down the best flatbread (not pizza) I've had. Loaded with mushrooms, cheese and truffle oil. Wowza factor *tuna poke taquitos. I ate the entire serving because my friend was full. Six mini tacos filled with the raw stuff and combined with garnishes. Soooo good. A few hours later, we dropped a significant amount of dinero (money) while enjoying the atmosphere, music and one another's company. Way to go Cedar Local--you certainly know how to host!! If prices weren't what they are, I'd love this place to be my regular watering hole. Well done.

We weren't ready to call it a night and we found Cedar Local, which was not far from my hotel. Great ambience and great music inside! My mango mezcal margarita was delicious! This would definitely be a place I'd frequent if I lived in the area.

    What times/days is Happy Hour?

Hello Kim, we do a food and drink happy hour, from Open till 7pm daily for $25.00. Hope to #CedarYouLater

What are the chances of a group of 6 getting seats together around 530 on a weeknight? (How crowded does this bar get after work?)

Monday's and Tuesday's aren't so bad, Wednesday on I recommend to come in as early as you can.

While I can't comment on the wine list personally, I know they are well-known for their extensive selection. After placing our order, we were delivered the sesame pizza bianca, which is a complimentary starter bread with dinner. The bread was a nice size and light and airy with a perfect crust and a delicious, crusty sesame seed bottom. The prawns were our starter and came three to a dish. They were sizable, though since they are served with the head and tail, there isn't a ton of meat on them. That said, they were flavorful and juicy with a nice sauce and just the right amount of spice that didn't overwhelm the fish. The snowdance chicken was the star of the show! It was incredibly juicy and tender with perfectly prepared skin, so I was happy to learn they keep this on the menu year-round. It was topped with some spinach that was solid, though nothing special. We also ordered a side of mushrooms which came with a creamy sauce and fish roe intended to be mixed at the table. The roe wasn't fishy at all but added a great element of umami to the flavorful, well-textured mushrooms. Overall, the service was very professional, though I thought the pacing could have been improved as the dishes came out a bit slowly. I would also recommend ordering at least two dishes per person, as the three plates we shared between two people felt like just a touch too little food. I'm already looking forward to going back--I'd try the winter chicories salad or the veal sweetbreads next time, but I'm open to exploring everything since the quality is so high. I noticed a side dish listed on their online menu that wasn't actually offered in person, so it might be worth double-checking if you have your heart set on a specific item.

I made reservations after seeing their special hot chocolate on social media and had a wonderful meal! Started off with the hiramasa which was fresh and went deliciously well with the citrus-y and sweet cara cara orange, as well as the aji peppers! The castelfranco chickory salad was fresh, crunchy, slightly creamy and slightly tangy - basically everything you need in an appetizing salad! Their house sesame bread was fluffy and chewy with a good amount of sesame flavor without having too many seeds. For mains, the farfelle was very interesting and tasty! The pasta was al dente and the sauce was addicting! At first I was wondering if it would resemble a nut butter, but it was creamy with very prominent walnut flavors and interesting texture (perhaps from the blended walnut skin component?). The addition of burrata and other cheeses was perfect for a cheese-lover like me. The pork chop was flavorful, well-seasoned, and juicy. The leek and cabbage mixture soaked up all the sauce and I wish there was more! Their special hot chocolate with an espresso martini marshmallow was fire!!!! Hot chocolate was decadent, not too thick, and not too sweet. The toasted marshmallow melted quickly but definitely had coffee and alcohol flavors. The amount per serving doesn't appear a lot but appropriate considering how rich it is. The mascarpone dessert had a great balance of fluffy cream, extremely crispy phyllo, and crunchy nuts with a touch of chocolate and vanilla! For drinks, I was really curious about the bi lemongrass but they ran out. Staff recommended the semiplume, which felt like a beer, tea, and sparkling wine all at once! Loved the floral aroma and bitter tea notes. My partner's cocktails were also well executed. Staff were nice and friendly. We got seats right by the kitchen so staff often checked in with us, including the chef!! Vibes were intimate with the dim lighting and minimalist decor. Definitely want to come back to check out their chicken and other dishes!!

We came in on a Friday evening and it was pretty quiet inside. After we were sat down upstairs, it took a long time for our waitress to come to take our order. All three had very strong flavors that were not balanced with the rest of the drink. After we finished our drinks, we waited an especially long time for the waitress to come back, check on us, and give us our bill. It was especially frustrating because we were the only ones in the bar at this point and we could hear them chatting downstairs. Overall, both service and the drinks need improvement.
