Cute little place in the seaport. Nice views. Good happy hour but the painkiller taste like juice. Wish it was a little bit stronger. The fish and chips were delicious! Just wish they would've mention on the menu that it's fish bites and not whole pieces. Fried and seasoned to perfection. Friendly and attentive waitress!

Right on the water which made the restaurant even more beautiful with the views! Ate here right before our river cruise and was super convenient because we walked right over afterwards. They were quick and attentive to our needs. The food tasted like they literally caught it that morning. So fresh and not so fishy. Would definitely return

Good food and very cold beer at this outdoor eatery on the pier. We were treated very well as we enjoyed a little lunch and some cold drinks. I had a couple of fish tacos and they were delicious! We sat outside of the beast launch spot which was pretty cool to see it take off and splash all the people on the boat. A cool spot to stop and take in the sights.

We first stop by the restaurant next to cobble fish but we all were starving. Goggled right down the next pier was pier 16 Cobble fish I always say things happen for a reason a good reason. We weren't going for drinks but I had a pretty nice tasting slushy very refreshing as this Wednesday was mugging. Then I had the Baja tocos with their crunchy spicy fries omg it was delicious. My nice had crunchy shrimp and fries sooo good. Service was very good and pleasant. I mean what is not to like having an amazing lunch by the Hudson River , hearing nice music and seeing the Shark blaster kick off with people enjoying themselves. Would definitely come back here.

Nice outdoor spot for a drink at the Seaport. Good drinks, my friends also liked the chicken tenders with fries. A little pricey though that is expected in this location. Bonus is the restroom trailer so we didn't have to try to find a restroom in one of the nearby buildings! You order with the staff at the booth instead of ordering at the table. Was here on an unseasonably cool and windy day so we were able to get a table easily.

I Had an unpleasant frustrating experience today 7/22/26 at cobbler Fish at the South Seaport . The service was absolutely horrible. I had to ask for water, in addition to asking the servers for lemons in which I never received, also requesting extra napkins. I ordered takeout, which was brought to me in a grimy greasy fingerprint box when confronted I was told that's how it came from the kitchen like it was no big deal. (Photo enclosed) The server Did not ask to change the box but instead gave me a rip, torn bag to put the box in. I am appalled with this outrageous service. I will not be eating there again. The food was decent, but the service sucks. The server gave me a piece of Keylime pie to rectify the situation.

    So good

I went there today and I was pleased, the waitress was very nice and the food is sooo good,I'm going back next Friday

Cobble Fish is an outdoor dining spot in South Street Seaport at the end of Pier 16, perfect for a warm, sunny day like today. The vibe is great and the food was delicious, but we unfortunately didn't have the best experience today. - Service: We went around 1pm and it wasn't very busy at the time. We were sitting at the end of the restaurant, but after they served us our food, they didn't come around to check in on us and it was very difficult to get their attention. - Food: I ordered the Calm Seas Lobster Roll ($31+), which was mixed with celery, onion and mayo which I generally don't love, but it was delicious. The bun was so buttery, too. The only problem I had with the food was that I bit into something hard and discovered there was a piece of lobster shell in my lobster roll. With summer approaching, hopefully, others will have a better experience.

Great fried fish right on the pier, plentiful beer at a table under an umbrella. Very quick service, an excellent place for dinner outside. Couches to lounge on for a more relaxed evening too.

Delicious fish tacos and beef loaded nachos. The piña colada and the pain killer are great.

We went to Cobble Fish for lunch on the 4th of July. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the East Hudson River, Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, and the Brooklyn skyline. They serve fantastic seafood bites and sandwiches in a great atmosphere. The restaurant had covered high tables and a lounge area. We chose to sit at a high table. When we ordered, the staff offered us the special of the day which was a foot-long bacon-wrapped hotdog and a draft beer for $16. Who could say no to that on the 4th of July? Overall, it was a fun lunch. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.

We were so pleasantly surprised by Cobble Fish and would recommend it! We were at pier 16 for an event and wanted to grab food nearby and this was extremely convenient. As locals we thought this would be more like a tourist trap type of place but the food was yummy and reasonably priced! We would go back. Unfortunately they were out of the Montauk IPA on draft. The classic margaritas were really good. The cobble fish and chips was our favorite! The fish was really delicious and the fries were perfectly crispy. It came with a great herby mayo. We also got the fried shrimp and it was good. The location is great and has amazing views of the water, and it's super cool to see the large ship docked right next to it. Being there at sunset was particularly gorgeous. The servers were all very nice.

10 out of 10! I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. We ordered the lobster roll, shrimp po' boy, and fish tacos and would get any and all of those again. We went on a nice Sunday afternoon and it felt like a New England summer--love this place! I can imagine it getting super crowded on warm weekend days because of the bar vibe.

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.

The Amazake Kick was balanced with just the right amount of sweetness, making it a fantastic starter. For food, we ordered the scotch egg, sliders, and fish and chips. The scotch egg was solid, though the sausage layer felt slightly dry this time around. The sliders were great, while the fish and chips were decent--nicely crispy, but the fish needed a bit more flavor seasoning.
