Maybe you have had the experience of service department personnel advising you that you might receive a survey, wanting to be sure you give the highest ratings. Well, what happens when you do not receive service at all? My wife's 2008 Jaguar VDP had been in for service many times, routine and otherwise, and we have given the service advisor and dealership high ratings. Until now! We had an 8:20 a.m. appointment on January 7, 2013. We understand that due to a family matter our service advisor was not in the office that day. But, that is no reason for us to be ignored for nearly 20 minutes. No one approached us and we had to ask what was going on. We finally left after getting only - "someone will be with you" - from the guys who move the cars. This is the worst we have ever been treated at any dealership. And, guess what? We never heard from the dealership, even after sending a note describing our experience. Our car will never return to Desert European Motorcars. read more

I've had the pleasure of owning 5 Rolls-Royce vehicles in my life time. About a year ago, I went into Indigo Rolls-Royce to purchase/lease my next vehicle. I heard good things about them and after having a negative experience at a local dealer, I decided to give them a try. I started working with Jason and Kyle. In the beginning, things were great. I communicated my need to replace a wrecked Bentayga and was up in the air about deciding on a Wraith or Ghost. I'm assuming I took too long as the communication with them stopped. My emails went unanswered and my calls weren't returned. Due to unforeseen events, I decided to put the car search on hold. I popped in today after seeing a car in their inventory that I had searched for over the past couple of months. I was greeted my Jaime, who i'd met before. Instantly I could feel I was wasting her time. Another couple popped in at the same time and the greeting was much more welcoming and warm. They chatted it up for about 20 minutes. I casually left. I encountered Kyle and Jason outside who put the cherry on top in making me feel unwanted. No eye contact, One word responses. You could tell they were forcing themselves to interact with me. No problem however, I'll take my business elsewhere. It's a shame that a car so beautiful and a company who prides themselves on the customer experience is so dismissive. read more

I purchased a 2015 Audi R8. It had 400+ miles on it (so it was AS NEW AS YOU COULD GET for not being new). The sales process was amazing. I flew down to Palm Springs to pick it up and drove it back to San Francisco. It was a great drive. The next morning I hand washed it since their were so many bugs on it from my drive home. As I was washing it, the bottom front bumper "plastic air vent" was loose and popped out. I sent an email with pictures to Jeremiah Valantine | Audi Brand Specialist. His response was "I am sorry to hear about what happened to the bumper. I emailed my parts department this morning regarding a replacement. According to their system they would have to order the whole bumper to replace it which would be about $1,200 after taxes." I responded back with "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING, I just spent $129,000 + purchased the 8 year extended warranty on a car that has 400 miles on it and you expect me to pay for this?". Of course no one responded until I sent 3 emails and cc'd the General Manager (Mike) and the Owner (Todd). THEN they got back to me and said that they did a MAJOR INSPECTION on the car when the previous owner brought it in and they found no issues (as if I was lying). IN THE END, I brought it to my local Audi dealer (Audi Livermore - we also own a Q7) and OF COURSE they had to order a replacement part and fixed it at NO CHARGE. IT'S UNFORTUNATE THAT IT APPEARS TO ME THAT AT INDIGO, there motto is "SELL 'EM AND FORGET 'EM"! read more

I had to make many many phone calls to get an asnwer, DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE, There are many other dealerships that can treat you nicely and make you feel like better about the investment that you are doing.I spend a lot of money on the car and feel that there is no one to turn back to if there is a problem. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Rolls Royce and its dealerships offer the worst customer service on the planet. I have purchased two Rolls Royce cars in the last 3 years from another dealership worth over $700,000. Let me tell you about the complete arrogance and lack of appreciation that you can expect if you choose to buy a Rolls Royce or deal with any of its dealerships. The last Rolls Royce I acquired was a lease through Rolls Royce Financial. Rolls Royce Financial refused to honor my purchase option in violation of California law and refused to sell me the car at the end of the lease. The car has equity at the end of my lease and Rolls Royce wanted to cheat me out of that equity at all cost. Rolls Royce Financial then told another dealership that I was attempting to sell the car so that they would "sabatoge" my title by refusing to give me the title even if I tendered the payoff in order to cause me to pay an unnecessary sales tax. California tax law exempts my transaction from sales tax if I transfer the car within 10 days. Rolls Royce promised to delay giving me my title to cause the sales tax to be due. Isnt that a nice way to treat a customer who has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to drive a Rolls Royce? Desert European is equally to blame as Rolls Royce Financial. After taking over $700,000 from me over the last three years, they refuse to return any of my calls, answer any of my letters, or take any action to help me resolve matters with Rolls Royce Financial. In fact, they took $1,000 from me to prepare teh car for sale and handle paperwork to a private buyer 3 months earlier. Rolls Royce apparently cooperated with this earlier deal because there wasnt equity in the vehicle at that time. Once there is money on the table, Rolls Royce will take all action necessary to cheat you out of it. Caveat Emptor when dealing with Desert European.!! read more

I bought an "Porsche approved" 2013 Porsche cabriolet from Chris Guidry a few months. first of all, it felt like he was doing me a favor of selling me this car. I should have walked then but the car was priced fairly so I didn't even negotiate. next, I figured since the car was "Porsche approved" it would be in almost perfect condition....wrong!!! after waiting for nearly 4 hours, I finally got called in to finance (Elena Ramirez), she was very professional and fast. I drove the car to San Diego that evening. I heard a few rattles and normal car noise. the next week I took it to San Diego Porsche for an inspection of rattle noise. turns out, the bumper had been painted, the roof had a tear on it, the tires were dry / cracking and the previous owner had spilled coffee on AC buttons and were getting stuck and never repaired... last thing.. San Diego Porsche found a cut or ripped brake cable that should have been detected during certification!! A BRAKE CABLE!!!! long story short, San Diego Porsche fixed the issues and even loaned me a new Panamera for a few days. after all this, I did not even receive a courtesy call to see how my transaction went.. com'on, this is Porsche. I get calls from Toyota to make sure I'm still happy with a Tacoma I bought 3 years ago! read more

Got my Aston Martin service last 16 Mar 2017at 9am. Service was really excellent. Updated and kept me posted when they were servicing my car. Again Lilly, Paul were really very professional. Joseph( the person working on my car) made a remark that i needed to change the hood shocks because it was weak. I also notice that because everytime i look under the hood, this hood will fall on my head but i totally forgot to mention it to Lilly when i made an appt for service. Lilly ordered my parts( hood shocks) and i came in today to have them replace it. My appt was 9am and By 9 : 30 am Joseph drove the car out and it was ready. "Service at its best." It seems amazing that so many different experiences can happen at one dealership. I have an Aston Martin and transport it to the desert each November. I noticed that the surround for the navigation screen was cracked. I took the car to DE and they said it was not covered by the warranty. But they said they would do what they could and talk to AM. In the end, AM and DE absorbed 75% of the cost. I was very pleased with their effort and the resolution. They have done the service work quickly and efficiently on my car and on my wife's Bentley. They really know how to handle all the details for an out-of-state purchase including taxes, licensing, and even taking a trade! If it is a Porsche you are after - Scott Py is an extremely professional CA with a great sense of humor and good follow through. We live in Seattle and had no intention of purchasing a car when we stopped in just look at a 911; we left three days later with a wonderful 2013 Boxster S CPO that we drove home to Seattle (what a ride!). Follow up since then on a few outstanding details has been very good by both Scott and the dealership's finance folks. We were treated fairly, with respect, and enjoyed the process. If/when the next car buying opportunity arises we'll find an excuse to visit our kids in PS and then swing by DE and visit Scott. Highly recommended! Run for your life! they are thieves and criminals! Bait and switch is the game here... they sold me a Maserati brand new and found i out it was a used LEMON! The sales staff is arrogant and once you buy your car.... they never answer the phone ever again:-( Also, they asked me to come back in and sign a new contract the day after my purchase of a lease with 12k miles a year... I just turned in the car and they are trying to charge me $12k in over milage with the claim that i got a low mile lease... when reviewing the new contract, We Realized they switched the contract on me:-( Shame on me for not re-reading it! the second time but who would have thought they would have done such a thing! But they did and ER (Finance Director) will not come to a phone for 5 years now after numerous attempts to reach her... I have bought many cars in my life but have NEVER dealt with a dealership orchestrating such a bogus deals and blatantly horrific customer service! Shame on all of them for their tactics and deception! I am contacting lawyers, BBB, and all Consumer Groups and will fight back... Never go to Desert European Auto Ever!!! Indigo Auto Group's Land Rover and Jaguar service department in Rancho Mirage is the worst service department I have ever had to deal with... I leased my second Jaguar there, and had so many problems with their service department, I leased my third Jaguar in Riverside. Unfortunately 3 months in, my diesel engine light came on. I live in Palm Springs, CA so the Riverside dealer is over an hour drive, so I thought I had better take it in to the Rancho Mirage dealer. They found the additive was low, and although my 2017 Jaguar is "supposedly" maintenance free, they charged me $60.00 claiming it was between services. I have had such a bad history with them, I just paid it. My next service I took my car to Riverside and the service was great. My car, once again had an engine light on, so I took it to Rancho Mirage. It was an easy fix, but they convince me to have my 10,000 mile check (even though I had less than 10k on my car). After I picked up my car they told me I would need to bring it in at 20,000 miles. At 20,000 miles I called the service department in Riverside to find that had been bought out by Indigo Auto Group. There was non longer any advantage to trekking all the way out to Riverside so I called the dealer in Rancho Mirage and explained what the service writer told me. The women I spoke with told me that yes she found the note in my records and made an appointment. When I arrived I was told it was too early for my service (interesting it was never too early for my previous jag that did not have free maintenance). I explained the situation and was told she made a mistake. I told him I also had a rattle in the front dash, and he told me that it would be $200 to diagnose the problem. That was it. Unfortunately Riverside and Palm Springs are the only two Jaguar dealers less that 2 hours away, so I will be forced to service my leased Jaguar with them, but I assure you when my lease is up, I will never buy or lease another Jaguar. read more

i went into Bentley to by a Porsche Spyder 2 Bentley gt and a Audi s8 stood in the showroom and nobody would help me i kept on saying excuse me and the sales staff would walk right past me and said excuse me about 4 times , nobody would help me, so i finally went to the other showroom to speak to the owner and of course was not there and asked to have him call me with no response after a wk again of not hearing back called again and of course not there again so obviously didnt want my 2 million dollars they were taught the first thing about car sales u NEVER judge anybody by what they r driving or what they r dressed like, if u want horrible sales and service this is the place i feel sorry for people that choose to deal with them, i guess people have more money than smarts read more

Not happy with the Porsche service department. They broke something in my porsche and wouldn't take responsibility to fix or replace. PLUS, a radio/cd they replaced two years ago has the same problem again, however, it was just at the 2 year warranty mark so they are avoiding me. I have always taken my Audi to Desert European Motorcars since moving out to the desert. I was actually excited that Audi was building a dealership out here. The bad news is that this is most poorly run dealership and service center I have ever been to. So bad in fact , that I ended up calling Audi corporate to let them know. I am an longtime Audi owner and love the brand but will NEVER go to this dealership again for service. The delays, the runaround and what I ultimately feel is dishonesty at this service establishment is shocking. I really hope Audi corporate gets involved to turn this dealership around. read more
