I used to get my car checked at the dealership cause it was a brand new car but over time, the "maintenance" started getting more expensive to the point that my next visit would cost $700+. Instead, I went to this place cause I needed an oil change asap and i met Matthew, who was very helpful and very efficient. Since I don't really know much about cars, I told him a story as to why I ended up going to his shop instead of the dealership, it was because of the $700 maintenance. I showed him the pamphlet that the dealership gave me showing "what's needed to be done" to keep my car in the best shape. He said that all I needed is an oil change and change my cabin filter and everything else listed isn't necessary. Ever since then, I never returned at the dealership and went here instead. We can't express how wonderful the people at James Auto Care are!!! Friendly, caring, trust worthy and honest. My daughter is a student at UH and has never really been away from home. So when she had car problems with her older model car we were very worried about where she could go for repairs. So far, they have gone above and beyond communicating with us from long distance making sure we knew what repairs they were doing, showing our daughter the work, and even teaching her some basic car maintenance. They are very family oriented with several employees that have been there a long time and all of them have made the extra effort to take excellent care of my daughter. I have no concerns about their integrity. We thought my daughter's car would have serious expensive repairs but it turned out to be reasonable inexpensive repairs each time.
