However Dane, the owner, was willing to take a chance on the Juke and it all turned out great. We ran into some issues early on with UpRev (tuning software) and Brad (shop manager) was very transparent and responsive with the communication. Once that got settled, we ran into another hurdle with inclement weather. Due to heavy rain and flooded roads my car sucked in enough water to end it for good, however through some patience and tedious work Dane and his techs were able to revive the car and get it ready for tuning. He was able to bring so much out of the car and despite there being a little bit more room to revise and adjust, the car is amazing compared to before. All in all a great shop, known for their work on the Z chassis cars, and despite it being one of the few they've worked on, they took care of the Juke like clockwork. When the part finally arrived, they resent the estimate -- now $853 -- without warning. I was told, by Dane, labor "wasn't included" (it was), then told they "forgot a part and was quoted incorrectly." This is blatant dishonesty. No communication, shifting excuses, and clear attempts to exploit my need for AC in Texas heat. Even if they honored the original price, I wouldn't trust the quality of work. If you value transparency and integrity, go elsewhere.
