Total cost of suggested repairs before the compressor supposedly blew out.

I so wanted to keep liking this place. However this past experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. I understand that cars need to be maintenance and there is a cost for good service. Which I do and will continue to do. But I think this will be my last Audi I will ever buy. I was impressed with the process of the diagnostics. The service provider text a video of their findings and a call was made to my husband and I about what we wanted to do. We bought the car in for issues of doors not locking properly and a/c not cooling and then the routine maintenance like oil change. However, their "findings" was quite a long list and a hefty price tag. Almost 8 grand. We asked to get the most important items taken care first which was the door actuator, and a/c sensor. It gets hot in Houston, so that was really important and of course everyone should be able to lock their doors for safety. That was well over $2000. The labor was more than the parts. I get it. Labor is expensive. We give the go ahead. Thinking everything was going dandy, we get another call saying that the sensor was put in and while testing everything was good and then,boom, the air compressor gets blown out. So we now have to shell out instead of the 2k but almost 7k because the air compression blew out under their care? We were utterly confused and furious. So at this point if all the repairs that was recommended plus the air compressor the grand total would be over 10 grand. Shoot at this point, getting a new car is better. We tell the service provider this and he said " oh yes, that would solve a lot of problems." If I get a new car, what problems? No problems at all. I don't have to worry what to repair and being told something broke while they were trying to fix it. At this point, we are like just stop any further repairs. We will pay for what has already been done. We just can't fathom paying another 4k for the air compressor on top of the 2k of repairs already being done. Ah, but then adding insult to injury, we get a call back saying oh we can discount $800 for you if you decide to do it. After discount for the sensor, actuator, oil change, and air compressor is $6900. I'm mind boggled. So we took the car home, short $2200, and no cold air. I mean the air compressor was fine until it was in your hands. Now we have to pay for something that we did not do. You said it yourself it happened when you were testing it. So who to say an error on your end could have caused it and now we have to pay for it. Yes, I'm disappointed with how everything was handled. I mean how is it our fault that the compressor died while you were testing it. It was working fine before that. No responsibility on your end and was pushed off to us like yeah it's a you problem. We felt they just wanted to keep digging into our pockets and not trying to help us. No more Audis ever.

This place comes with so many firsts for me so I'll just list them all; obviously my very first Audi, a Certified Pre Owned ( CPO ), first car purchased strictly through about 45 emails, first far out of state vehicle, and finally the most expensive car for me up to date lol. The shopping experience was just incredible with no hassles no gimmicks nor extra fees. I found the vehicle online and absolutely fell in love with it. Asked for a quote then a few questions and some negotiations all through email and I had a booked flight to Houston. The dealer also arranged for a pick up at the airport which made me feel like a VIP lol. Upon arriving I was greeted right away by Albert Tellez who I have been communicating with for quite a few days. The car was prepped, and looked like a brand new vehicle. I was shocked! I took it for a spin and couldn't wait to drive it back home to NY. The process was quick, as the binder was sent ahead from the insurance company prior, all was missing was a few signatures and I was out the door. Drive back home was very relaxing and exciting, you'd figure driving alone all this way would be boring but the adrenaline and the accelerator kept me up. Car came with prior warranty transferred over and an extra 2 years with services included. As a matter of fact it is still under warranty till this day. Highly recommend the Sewell Audi dealership as I even got a tour of the service department and place was just spotless. Albert was fantastic and made this whole process not only enjoyable but a breeze.

I am naturally skeptical of any used car dealership even more so one that has so many high ranking reviews. I didn't initially believe it and thought they were fake. Boy was I wrong! Joad (Sales Manager) & Zuri (Sales Agent) do business the old school way. They stand behind their product, no B.S. Bait & Switch, and take care of their customers to no end! They offer a 7-day warranty on there vehicles and dont just sell you junk that you have to be worried about breaking down the minute you roll off the lot. They sold me a solid business van for my fleet, that had low miles and it was the cheapest priced vehicle online in the entire country. They are in business for the long haul and understand the importance of reputation. They treat people with the upmost respect regardless of price on car, like some other dealerships. Motors on Wheels went above and beyond for me to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the esthetics and mechanical integrity of my vehicle, which gave me peace of mind! Never experienced this level of customer service and professionalism from any dealership, not even the big manufacturer dealerships. They earned my business for life. I will be purchasing all of my future business vehicles from them!

Since I've moved back to the Heights downtown area, I decided to give them another shot. So close to five stars! I utilized the valet service where they pick up my vehicle, do the oil change, they did a great job as well change the air filter, wipers, etc. that was a 5 star experience! That was an easy five star review for that service. It did an amazing job. I was out of town for three days so they picked up my vehicle. Did all the test and maintenance and everything like that and I come back on my vehicles at my valet. That was super convenient and very nice. I will always utilize that service. However, there was a bit of a scheduling issue. They forgot to pick it up Monday so I had to give him a call, but they got it taken care of that wasn't a big deal. I just kind of falls back to fundamentals if you have an appointment scheduled and sit pick the car up that way there's no confusion and I would have to call to make it happen. They brought the vehicle back and there was like oil stains on the front fender area. Typically most oil change companies cover that that way when you get the car back, it's not dirty. The problem is I just gotta wash at Mister car wash so I had to go take a bath and get it washed again. This is why I give them four stars instead of five. Other than that, it was a great experience. Customer service is great. The convenience of the valet service to pick up and drop off back at my valet. I can't tell you that right there is top-notch service. I'll give them a try again and probably change this to a five star because overall the experience was great.

I recently purchased a 2021 Ford F-150 Lariat from Tommie Vaughn Ford in Houston. The vehicle was…read moreadvertised online as "Ford Blue Certified," which includes inspection and warranty coverage. After the purchase, I was not provided any certification paperwork or warranty details. Shortly after, I was informed the truck had a coolant issue that could require a full engine replacement. When I returned to the dealership, I had to push multiple times and show proof of the listing before they acknowledged the certification. Even then, there was a delay in providing proper documentation, which raised concerns about whether the certification had actually been completed correctly. During the financing process, I was presented with paperwork reflecting a much higher total amount than expected (around $50k vs. approximately $39k discussed), which I had to question before proceeding. I was also presented with additional add-ons that I had to decline and have removed. In addition, the truck was not provided with a full tank of gas at delivery, and despite the situation, I was not offered any form of compensation for the inconvenience. Due to the condition of the vehicle, the lack of transparency, and the overall experience, I chose to return the truck. I recommend that anyone shopping here verify certification directly with Ford, carefully review all paperwork before signing, and request all documentation upfront. Do not rely solely on how the vehicle is advertised online.

For transparency, here's the timeline so far: - April 1: Dropped my car off at the shop - Received a text that my car was in the disassembly stage, and they would let me know if any hidden damage was found - April 9: Received a message that hidden damage was found and that I could reach out for more details - Rich updated me on the damages and let me know he would be sending the supplemental estimate to my insurance So far, my experience has been very good. The shop has been professional, communicative, and easy to work with. I'm hoping they hear back from my insurance soon and that the process doesn't take too long. I'll post my next update next week!

My insurance took a while to send the supplement over to JJ, but once JJ Auto Body received it, they got started right away, which I really appreciate. I just wanted to keep you all informed on what's going on. JJ Auto Body has continued to impress me throughout this entire process. I've never dealt with a body shop before, so this is my first experience, and I have to say...the consistent communication and updates have been phenomenal. You all know how it is being without your car, especially in Houston...it really feels like you've lost a part of your daily life. So staying updated on the progress has been very comforting.
