Our first time having Indian food! Naan bread and rice was very good. The chicken kabobs was tasty with a small portion of flavorful cubes of chicken bites served on a giant bed of raw onion. The chicken tiki masala had a nice flavor but was only warm temp. The iced tea and pistachio ice cream were fresh and delicious. Our server was very nice but forgetful. Finally got into Flame. We stopped by last week, unaware it didn't open until 5 (my bad). Was very bummed. Got in promptly at 5, seated immediately, and all the staff was nice & attentive. The mango & sweet lassi was yummy, plum wine was primo stuff, & the Coke never stopped flowing. There was soo much on the menu all 3 of us had a hard time choosing. Luckily we all ordered different items so were able to sample multiple dishes. Not a single one of them was bad. Most overpriced Indian food that doesn't serve the quality even to half it's price. I went for the buffet and the food was okay. But the staff is outright rude and simply doesn't care - They fight in front of the guests!! Honestly, Tempe has many other options for Indian food that are cheaper and still far more better at quality than this. I have been here twice. I have tried ala carte and buffet in dinner. Buffet was fine. Mild on spicyness but you get good curry. I definitely liked saag paneer and dal makhani on the menu. Meat dishes were at par with other Indian restaurant in area serving buffets. Its good to try. Ala carte was on different day. Before anything we were there just before closing time. We order garlic tandoori chicken tikka and chicken tandoori. Tikka was dry and had over powering garlic. Chicken tandoori was good but little dry. They would ask you spicy level at table that show they don't have pre marinated chicken and thus lack of flavor in chicken. Staff if really good and prompt in service My recommendation is if you need some quick indian food and you are in neighborhood you can give it a try. read more

Great food and lots of vegetarian/ vegan options. Lately we have been getting their buffet as takeout (we have to be extra covid careful) and it's been great. The containers are plenty big, and everyone wears a mask and gloves while getting food from the buffet. I've also ordered food from the menu for pickup, and it's been packaged well enough to get home without spills or leaks. Insert India's Flame as it was a perfect time to subdue my hunger for Indian food. Greeted by I believe the owner's son, and quickly was asked if I wanted regular or garlic naan bead. I love naan bead, so I chose to be adventurous and had the garlic naan. The garlic naan was hot, fresh, and delicious. Now to the buffet of foods. They serve the most distinguished dishes for their patrons to divulge in: chicken curry, chicken tandori, chicken, and goat marsala (my favorite, the goat was not hard or chewy, but fall of the bone tender). Also to add they serve mango lassi for a perfect touch to your meals. I wish they had better servings or variety of desserts as they only had rice pudding and fruits to consume. I had to ask for the gulab jamun, which the owner son was friendly enough to give. Overall the experience at India's Flame was good enough to warrant another visit. So we ordered it take out, I will have to see that the food was really good, however the curry was not spicy at all. Shrimp was over cooked, but the rest was good. all of the food when we picked up was over wrapped in saran wrap, we ordered a Coke thinking it was gonna be a leader as we paid $3 for it was a can of soda. Wow! How lucky are we that India's Flame was across from our hotel. My husband and I eat Indian food often and usually try it wherever we travel. We have our favorites in San Diego and Australia, and have found great restaurants in London. India's Flame honestly surpasses them all. I wish they had a place in San Diego because there are so many dishes I'd like to try. I had the vegetable korma and my husband had the lamb vindaloo. Both were outstanding. At a 3 on the spicy scale, they were perfect, mild with a little kick. The restaurant itself is quite pretty inside with many comfortable booths and colorful paintings.
