Sort of a Texas style place, with chilli and potatoes. The names are unique, and don't be afraid to ask what things are. The portions are not huge, so you can try different things. This is an owner operated business, so you're likely meet the owner and there and they have been doing this for quite a while. Seating inside is limited, but the outside seating nis now covered. It's great. If you haven't been in a while, come back and try out the new menu.

Their menu is focused and concise, which I always appreciate - it suggests they do a few things really well. There's counter seating inside if you want to watch the action, and some high-top tables out front for enjoying the neighborhood buzz. I took a chance on the pork sausage with sauerkraut, and it was spot on. The portion size was definitely satisfying. Pro-tip: Definitely add jalapeños and spicy brown mustard for a fantastic kick! I'll definitely be back to try some of their other offerings and would absolutely recommend this place if you're in the area. Just a heads up that their hours are a bit limited, but its location right next to a bar makes it a perfect stop for a tasty bite before heading in for happy hour.

I'll start with their halal meat which I get from there. I've tried 3-4 different halal meat stores in DMV area and this is by far my favorite. They do cut the chicken and lamb in pieces I explain to them. I don't like fat or disgusting loose skin on my meat and they clean it off for me. Where as other halal meat stores, I have to spend double the time cleaning off my meat when I come home. So that's one good thing I like about them. Their meat looks fresh and they don't cheat in measuring and charging it. Yes I've had that issue with other places. When I say I want more meat when buying lamb/goat/beef pieces, they make sure there is less bone and more meat. As for other things, they do have good variety. Not amazing but good. Some of the stuff like yogurt is few cents or sometimes a dollar more than restaurant depot or Costco, but again, I don't mind because it's a convenience store. I sometimes prefer going here than going to Costco. More efficient and in and out. It was a much smaller store when I started going here about 5 years ago. They have made it bigger by buying the store next to it and cleaned it out much more. Overall I do like it and recommend it. Yes they are a little impatient and quite sometimes but I noticed the more I went there, the more they regarded me. They do take care of their regulars a lot !! Think of it like a small store in a small town run by an old couple. Tough on the outside but super soft on the inside. They glare at my kids when we come in but give them a lollipop for free with a twinkle in their eye.

AYCE kbbq in centreville!…read more I went here with my family who was in town to have some kbbq that was relatively close to where I live. The pricing was a little expensive on the kids side ($20 each) for my toddlers and they definitely did not eat $20 worth. They measure according to height and my 3 year old is on the tall side (thanks to her dad) Other than that, the options were simple. they have limited options and I'm not mad about it! It was focused on flavor and quality rather than 200 things on the item. The buttered squid was sooooo good! I ordered a few of those. Our waiter also was super sweet and accommodating and attentive. It's a very chill atmosphere and has loud r&b/kpop music Def a place to chill and drink with friends

This is a review for all people who have been going to Meat Project for a while now and new people…read morewho are interested. Tonight, it was our usual outing as a family to Meat Project for their all you can eat meat and great affordable price. However, our family was very disappointed in the overall service, quality of side dishes and meat, and the owner and server with how they treated us. We ordered couple different meats like pork belly, brisket, and gopchang. We decided to order some lettuce wraps for our meat, which is a common and delicious Korean tradition and combo to wrap with our meat with a special Korean sauce called ssamjang that make the perfect bite everytime. However, after waiting for 45 minutes, while we were eating our meat, our lettuce wraps were being delayed. Now we are fine with waiting but the issue was that our main server told us multiple times when we questioned about the extended delay that our lettuce wraps were "coming out soon" and "the kitchen was preparing it". After the 45 minutes, we decided that since we were basically almost full with our appetites, and coming to a Korean traditional meat BBQ restaurant, we couldn't miss eating it the way we expected, the owner was called so that we could try to get a better explanation and figure out why this was a first time issue for us. The owner who was a Korean woman, advised to us that they had run out of lettuce and they had deliberately rushed to buy more. However, when the "lettuce wraps" we ordered finally came out on our table, it was romaine lettuce which was cut in very thin strips, clearly not suitable for wrapping meat and other veggies and sauce included. The owner then explained to us they had accidentally bought the wrong type of lettuce and apologized the inconvenience. additionally, our main server/waiter was also very delayed in bringing us other side dishes and meat that we requested at a suitable time for us to enjoy, which added to us losing our appetite even further, which we decided even then to let this slide as we could see it was a busy night. After all of this back and forth, the service manager, our waiter, our host, and the owner of the restaurant never managed to apologize to us for making a mistake on their ends, and how they had been informing us incorrectly that the lettuce was "coming out soon". The owner then decided to let us know that we were free to leave, advised us that we didn't need to pay our bill, and never come back again with the most utmost horrendous and unprofessional attitude, making us look like we were the in the wrong. This was clearly a bad night for us after this outcome, after coming here regularly as frequent customers. We warn all of those families who frequent this location. I promise you that I would never go this far , and I guarantee you I am not the type of person to be a Karen, but this simply could not just slide. As a Korean family, we are truly disappointed.

Do you want a meal that is so filling and satisfying that you feel like you could hibernate right…read moreafter? Just curl up like an exhausted grizzly and forget the world until your belly is no longer full? Then go to Brazza and get ready to bring on blissful exhaustion. I've been here three or four times now and have tried several menu items. Everything comes to the table quickly and perfectly delicious. The meats are tender and flavorful, and the crispy skin on the pork belly chicharrón sings when you scrape it with a fork. The sides are hearty and massive, with the fried plantains being especially delicious bars of golden delight (I recommend the tomato and onion salad as the perfect side for the chicharrón). There are lots of drink options, too: the papelón is the best limeade for a hot day, and the chicha-criolla vaso is like a milkshake delivered directly from heaven. The absolute star of my heart, though, is the blood sausage. The skin has a delicate snap, the filling is silky in consistency, and the flavor is robust and rich. Add the smallest drop of the hot sauce (ask for it specifically) to change and amplify the flavor into something even more interesting. If you have never tried blood sausage before, Brazza offers an exceptionally palatable way to try it through the homogenous filling, rich spices, and minimal tangy flavor. If you already enjoy blood sausage (I grew up eating boudin), then you should try what I consider the smoothest and most complexly flavored version I've ever eaten. Long review short, go to Brazza if you want amazing meats, refreshing drinks, and delicious food in general, all at an excellent price. And you get Carlos' warm welcome and big smile for free!
