A-Z Meats - Meat Shops Near Me - Stafford, Virginia

We just had another top sirloin roast from A to Z meats. This cut of meat was the best. Sorry to say as a retired military officer I can't get meat like this at Quantico Marine Corps Commissary or Ft Belvoir. The young men working there are very courteous and easy to deal with....true professionals in the service industry. read more

Been here multiple times! Great food and great quality. Great Customer Service 10 Stars!

Great, superb quality meat at a fair price. Friendly staff always attentive to special requests.

I was driving by in traffic and decided to stop in to check this place out. The person behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. The place is clean, and they have a variety of meats and seafood for decent prices. I decided to try their sausage and bacon for my family over the holiday weekend. My family enjoyed it all and loves their sausage. You can also place special orders for various types of meat if they don't have it in house. Everything was quality, and I definitely would return. 4 Stars read more

Ever since this butcher opened locally we've been hearing very positive things about them in social media, so we stopped in one weekday to take a look. Zach, the owner was very friendly and extremely helpful! He showed us various items and explained so many things to us, including how he dry ages meats and he gave plenty of helpful suggestions. They have a great assortment of various beef, pork, chicken, seafood, spices, etc here - Highly recommend stopping in! His prices are reasonable and he stands behind his products! read more

The million dollar burgers are out of this world (no gristle!). We tried the blueberry breakfast sausage and it is divine! We are meal planners and don't believe quantity is the way to measure value. If you're looking for real quality meats and staples for healthy meals, this is your one stop shop. Service surpasses all! read more

The meats are top notch here I have not had any issues for the quality of the meats the price is worth it. Service is always great they listen to you and accommodate your needs. It is a butcher shop that is hard to find but it is worth the search. This is the first place I have found beef bacon. I was surprised how much I like it and the salt content is so much lower. read more

Zack with A-Z meats made Christmas successful for fire station 2 and 5 with stafford county. On the morning of the 25th, we planned to cook a prime rib that we had bought at a local grocery store the day before. After opening the prime rib package we realized the meat was spoiled. Zack was able to get us a 16+ pound prime rib fresh from a cow for free with the help of the owner of Smoke Showin BBQ. I have bought plenty of food from A-Z meats and it has always been stellar. Very stand up guys and they made our Christmas very special this holiday. Couldn't be more thankful for them. read more

A-Z Meats - Meat Shops Near Me - Stafford, Virginia

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Customer service is some of the best I've experienced. Always willing to answer questions and take care of your butchering needs. The rubs and seasonings for meats and poultry are out of this world. And when they say, A - Z Meats, they are not kidding! The variety is unbelievable. And if you have a special request, they will bend over backwards to get it for you. I highly recommend this business. If you're looking for bargains like you get at the grocery store on meat and poultry then you shouldn't visit the store. The quality is extremely high, the meats are humanely curated from local US sources, and therefore the prices are a bit higher than at the grocery store. But as they say you get what you pay for! I had the Bell and Evans chicken and the quality and taste was out of this world. read more

I have been shopping here since the first month they opened. They have always carried excellent cuts. The staff are knowledgeable, and the prices are fair considering the quality. The selection has improved every time I have been shopping. The meats are high quality. The choices of seasonings and cooking accoutrements is decent as well. They do dry aging on site and can accommodate special requests with enough notice. We have bought our Thanksgiving bird here as well as an amazing Prime Rib roast for the holidays. They are locally owned and operated and run great specials throughout the year. If you have not been shopping with Zack and crew, you are missing out. read more

If you choose to buy meat products here, be warned! You will be HOOKED! Top quality products harvested from local stock. These people are there to serve you with top notch meats, sausage, bacon and farm fresh eggs, the REAL stuff! I'm willing to pay a little more for an honest product direct to the customer. Along with many old style mixtures and recipes, they gave me a 50/50 mix of beef and pork for an outstanding meatloaf! Sauces, powders, rubs, etc. They deliver a variety of products to our benefit. Please give 'em a try and I promise you'll not be disappointed! read more

We've never been disappointed. They have been our go to for brisket and flank steak since they opened. Great quality and prices.

Great place to buy meat! We bought 4 cheddar burgers from there. They were excellent!

We found a cut of meat we had been looking for for quite some time. They keep adding different and amazing things each week.

I selected ribeye steaks and they were delicious. They have in house seasonings. The young man suggested the scorpion blend and my family loved it. Our steaks were tender, thick, juicy and flavorful. I will definitely continue to support this business. read more

We were greeted right off the bat and the place was very nice and clean! An assortment of meats is awesome. The owner was very nice and informative as we didn't know what cut of meat we wanted and they gave us a seasoning a try out. The seasoning was amazing and we loved the flavor profile it gave the meat and we will be returning to try some more meats from A-Z Meats! read more

I'll start by responding to another review on here. $15/lbs for tri-tip is on par with Aldi, not to mention Wegmans or Publix. Second, I've done hundreds of dollars of business with these guys, and the owners went out of their way to make good on cuts that I didn't order in advance and/or ordered on a whim. If there was an agreed deal that didn't get fulfilled, then I am sure there is a legitimate explanation, and I think it only right to give them a chance to fix it or limit the review to saying what happened, instead of accusing a fledgling local business of fraud, very silly fraud at that. As for quality of meat and satisfaction with the product - I will vouch that hands down. I've had everything from the chicken salad to the Denver steaks to those big Tomahawk ribeyes. It's all great. For good cuts at a small business? You might pay a little more. Is it worth it? In my opinion 100%, and I plan to return asap. Also, as my little girl says, the sausage is "bustin." read more

Absolutely amazing butcher. The staff is super friendly, especially Noah. Prices are great even compared to todays climate. You can't beat the meat. Highly recommend buying all your meats here instead of your big grocery store. read more
