Had a delicious latte and great friendly service from Ella. Cool vibe inside. Glad I popped in.

The baristas here were so welcoming, nice and excited to explain the menu to me as a first-timer. They took their time to figure out what kind of drink I wanted and I was very happy with the Blueberry Sunrise! This was my first time trying blueberry and lemon in a matcha, and it was very delicious-- so so unique. The coffee shop is also connected to a running store, so it is a smaller space.

Really good coffee shop in Spokane that I recommend to anyone needing suggestions!! The cold brew is nice, but the matcha is amazing, especially with honey or strawberry. The staff is very friendly, and the place is modern and big - good spot to work or meet with people. The parking downtown can be a bit difficult, but not horrible - you will have to pay.

Was walking the downtown area and in need of coffee. I remember this coffee place being great last time at the other location so I went again. Decided to try the butterscotch latte with oat milk, and lemon vanilla latte with soy milk. I liked how they don't charge for alternative milks. The flavors were very faint, they were a perfect sweetness but I didn't taste lemon or butterscotch at all. I also got a breakfast sandwich, which I think the price was excessive. It was about $12 for a bagel with a little cheese, an egg, spicy mayo, and arugula. It was good but not worth the amount for what's in it. After buying the things, the girl taking my order was super rude. Didn't say anything, even after I said thank you she just said "yup". Inside was nice and super cool to see lots of seating. All seats were taken so we decided to sit at the bar area. We stayed inside, and it comes with mugs which was cool.

Such a cool environment with lots of local vibes. We loved spending our breakfast time as a family there. They had a very delicious and rich matcha and a freshly made croissant Enjoy It!

    Spicy avocado toast

I was in Spokane for a few days and stopped into indaba four times. Hands down my favorite coffee spot in downtown Spokane. And -- even better -- they've got unquestionably THE BEST avocado toast I've ever had. The best avocado toast my boyfriend ever had and the best avocado toast eaten by the lady at the table next to ours who also kept returning just to eat it. I'm addition to mashed avocados, the toast features tasty sprouts and pickled onions which combine to make a fresh, savory, spicy, delicious treat. By comparison, the veggie burrito was just okay -- but that doesn't even matter because you can always get the spicy avocado toast. Service was great. Ambience in the rear seating section was also perfect for working on a laptop - so it feels like one area is more social and the other is more studious.

Great spot! I hadn't been to this location and loved the vibe. Lots of seating and quick service. The lemon latte was delicious!! Will definitely remember this for next time I'm in downtown Spokane and need a caffeine fix!

Here visiting and looking for a great white chocolate mocha! Indaba coffee has been amazing! If you're looking for a cute coffee shop and really good coffee this is the spot!

Great place for quiet reading in a Sunday morning.

I was in town for a conference and searched for a coffee shop near the Davenport hotel. This was an easy walk and such an adorable place. Customer service was five stars, even though they were having technical difficulties they took good care of their patrons. I had the seasonal pumpkin spice latte, and it was absolutely delicious! It's a perfect end into a weekend conference in Spokane.

Warm welcome, lots of space, good ambience.

Immediate vibe shift. Warm. Vibrant. Eclectic mix of humans scattered throughout -- laptops open, friends mid-laugh, someone clearly pretending to work. The energy felt alive without being chaotic. That's a sweet spot. The woman who served us? Absolute pro. Friendly with everyone. The kind of person who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. Easy to talk to. Zero rush. Hospitality done right. We grabbed a solid-sized table for the group while one of the crew made a pastry run. Strong team execution. Now for the order: Iced latte. Almond milk. Honey. My control beverage. My combine drill. It was exactly what I expected -- smooth, balanced, no drama. And somehow... it tasted better because of the room. Setting matters. Coffee absorbs vibes. That's science.* (*Not verified.) This is one of those places you can: * Meet friends for breakfast * Post up and "work" for 4 hours * Or grab a quick coffee before pretending you're not late Would I come back? Absolutely. (Unfortunately I literally live on the other side of the country, so before my trip to Spokane ended I made it a point to stop by Atticus multiple times.) The gift shop portion of the store stocks what feels like a little bit of everything. Books, stickers, soaps, lotions, trinkets, home decor, t-shirts, art, books, cards, chocolates...and that's just what I remember! And then the coffee shop portion has a surprisingly large menu. I'm used to coffee shops in stores being more like small coffee stands; but nope, this operation feels like a fully stocked coffee shop. Plus they also serve tea, matcha, and smoothies...and breakfast sandwiches, AND pastries. As you might imagine: this all makes the store smell quite good! There aren't a ton of seats but when I visited with family, we managed to find a couple tables so we could enjoy our drinks and snacks sitting down. Their coffee is very, very tasty - I tried both hot and iced lattes during my multiple visits. I didn't have tea on-site but I did buy some of their blends to brew at home, and they are also very, very tasty. Unfortunately they don't do online sales, and since I was traveling I didn't have the space to pack up everything I wanted to take home with me. Maybe future me will have the chance to come back...in the meantime, I hope you lucky locals appreciate this place as much as I did!

No one asked if we'd made a reservation. I eventually asked a server at the bar if we should seat ourselves because we'd been standing there for so long. No, someone will help you soon. A host walked up. He was eating something. When he got to the host stand, he finished his food, took a big drink and wiped his hands before making eye contact with us. He said the wait would be 15 minutes. We sat down in the lobby. We were seated at a community table. The couple to our right finished their meal, paid the bill and left. Their seats were bussed. This all happened before our server greeted us. We ordered coffee. We waited. And waited. I scanned the restaurant for our server - or any server- to ask about our drinks and place our food order. No one else approached the table. Still no coffee. It had been 30 minutes. We decided to leave. The host realized we were leaving. He offered to find our server, pay for our meal, seat us somewhere else. He practically chased us out of the restaurant. I appreciated the sentiment but it was too little, too late and my teenage daughter was super uncomfortable with his approach. I was excited to eat at House of Brunch. I won't be back.
