We visited Inchin's new Dublin location on a Saturday night, and the wait for a table was long. We ordered drinks while we waited, which helped pass the time. Once seated, service moved quickly. We ordered the chicken manchow soup, dry Manchurian chicken, burnt garlic chili fried rice (chicken), triple Szechwan (chicken), a spicy mango margarita, and lava cake with ice cream. I've been to Inchin's several times, and it's always a bit hit or miss. This visit was no different. Most dishes were just okay, but the Manchurian chicken and the lava cake really hit the spot, and they're the reason this is a 4 instead of a 3. I wouldn't mind coming back the next time an Indo-Chinese craving strikes. read more

1 Star Very disappointing and concerning experience at Bamboo Garden in Dublin. I found a piece of steel wire/metal in my food, and it actually ended up in my mouth. Thankfully, I did not swallow it, but this could have caused a serious injury. What made the situation even more concerning was the way the restaurant handled it. I expected management to take the incident seriously, preserve the foreign object, and provide a clear explanation. Instead, they would not give me the piece of wire. Finding metal in food is a serious food-safety issue. I hope management investigates how this happened and takes steps to make sure it doesn't happen to another customer. I strongly not recommend that the restaurant review its food preparation and safety procedures. read more

It was good, not great... given the choice I would likely go to Paradise Biryani Pointe next time. Inchin seems like it is going for a more upscale vibe, but it is dark and the tables and walkways incredibly cramped. They should also invest in window shades to block the sunset glare, instead they've resorted to taping paper menus to paneling and then removing them when the sun sets. That was a little bit of a yikes! The plus points: They are very family friendly, I actually love that. Though, on a Friday night they should try to group families with small children in one seating area and the parties clearly on an adult night out in the dining area nearest the bar. Actually, had to contend with someone's child slamming the back of our booth seat. Our server, Vamse (?) was wonderful. He gave just the right amount of attention, his recommendations were honest and thoughtful. He was a 5 star server. The food was yummy, and I liked the spice levels. They've got a great cocktail menu, with a multitude of non-alcoholic options which I really appreciate! I liked the chicken Biryani, but the seafood curry was the star! The Mongolian Beef and Chicken Chili honey are also very good. I don't think I will return on any sort of girls night out, but may come back or order out for a family meal. read more

Recently went with kids for dining at this place in Dublin and the ambience is really good. The chicken manchow soup and crispy baby chilli corn was good but we're disappointed with the triple schzewan- this was vegetarian but no visible veggies and the sauce on top was okayish - coming from Mumbai this was no match. The kids menu was pretty good and decent priced and we tried the Mac n cheese. Overall nice Indian Chinese place for Dublin area and hoping the food quality could improve further. read more

My friend recently catered from a restaurant for her daughter's birthday party, and the food was really bad. There was so much vinegar in the noodles that they were inedible. She asked for a refund, but the restaurant refused. That's really bad service. We couldn't eat anything, and we had to order pizzas last minute. They told her she was supposed to bring the trays back, but that's not even possible when you're throwing a party. Such bad service. read more

BEWARE!! of ordering catered food from this particular branch of Inchin Bamboo Garden. We ordered street style noodles, garlic chicken and vegetable manchurian from this place for my 3 yr olds birthday party. The Street style noodles smelled so pungent and extremely sour to taste, none of my guests ate it. To avoid the embarassment my husband hastily ordered 3 more orders of pizza and got it delivered immediately as everyone was waiting to eat. I called the business immediately after hearing people and my older son complaining and told them that this was uncalled for and they should have tasted the food before asking us to pickup. The person in charge repeatedly appologized and told I will receive a full refund for the noodles. He also mentioned casually that this never happens and they would appreciate it if I get the noodles so that the chef can be held accountable. I told them thats not possible as I live 30 mins away and the party is still in swing to which he said I understand. I took a pic of the entire tray of food left in the evening and called the evening after 4-5 days when I still didnt receive the refund. They completely denied the refund and said they would only refund if I had got the entire tray of food back. I was shocked. Who the hell expects that after a blunder like that someone would drive back 30 mins with a tray of food after a tiring party just to get a refund. I also told them I am happy to ask the guests to call them and provide a review of the food if they wanted proof.. complete silence and it has been 3 weeks. Just for $120 they just lost multiple clients. All my friends and relatives decided to never order from their location... What a pathetic manager...we gave them enough time to call us back and called the facility 3-4 times after that never to get a call back.. read more

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday to try the menu items were planning to serve at a party in March. The space is great for group dining, spacious and beautiful design. Welcoming and warm as soon as we walked in. I ordered a titos&soda....i was surprised to recieve 2 glasses. 1 with a shot of vodka. 1 with cold club soda. No ice, not mixed. It was a little puzzling. The second time around, the service was great but the food was super greasy and the lunch special Hakka noodles and rice were so below average I can't even say. The 'pan fried fish' was very oily - actually deep fried and then pan fried...Everything on the menu is feep fried actually - even if it says pan fried. Why in this day and age, can't we make food wholesome and tasty - is beyond me. Sure Chinese cooking - much less Indo Chinese - requires high heat wok cooking, but that doesn't mean there needs to be gallons of cheap cooking oil used. No apology, no accountability -- just complete disregard for customers who plan their time based on the hours they advertise. Trying to still make it work, we placed a takeout order to save time. After waiting 20 minutes, we came back expecting our food to be ready -- only to be told that our order was NEVER EVEN PLACED because the person who took it "didn't know how to take orders." We requested for spicy sauce on the side, and they charged us 5 times because everyone in our party asked for it. This is my honest review after visiting this restaurant three different times. We really wanted to like it, but each visit has been disappointing. The only positives I can mention are the ambiance and the presentation of the dishes. Unfortunately, the food itself has consistently been underwhelming. It lacks flavor, feels overpriced for the quality, and doesn't live up to the presentation. One of the biggest issues has been the temperature of the food. On multiple visits, our food was served cold. During our most recent visit, we actually had to ask the staff to warm it up, which shouldn't be necessary. As a restaurant that markets itself as halal, I expected much better quality and care. Instead, the experience has been consistently disappointing. There are many excellent halal restaurants in the Tri-Valley that offer better food and much better value. Based on our experience after three visits, I can't recommend this place. The Thai Yellow Curry was excellent. If you love spicy food, there were quite a few spicy dishes available too. I ordered a Hot & Sour Soup bowl, which according to the restaurant's website is supposed to be 20 oz and priced significantly higher than the 7 oz cup. However, what I received was in a 16 oz container--and I even measured it at home to confirm. When I called the location to raise this concern, they were unwilling to help and instead told me to contact the franchise. That response was disappointing and felt dismissive. This experience came across as misleading and poor customer service. I love Indo-Chinese food and have always enjoyed Inchin's. However, I once had a bad experience at their Sunnyvale location where I was served chicken instead of paneer -- a deal breaker for me as a vegetarian. After 5-6 years, I finally tried Inchin's again, this time in Dublin. The service was great and the food was delicious. We ordered Hakka noodles, momos, and coins in Manchurian sauce. The momos were the only item that fell short, but the other two dishes were excellent. Overall, it was a great experience. Overall, 4.5 out of 5, rounded up to 5. Grand opening week, I saw their advertising on facebook and them offering some free food, peaked my interest. If I recall, this place used to be banana garden but, it's still a nicely rebuilt and decorated restaurant. Since I was going solo, I was offered seating at the bar. The bartender and waiters were all very friendly and polite. The food itself was extremely delicious and tasteful. And since I was in the mood to try myself I did go a tad overboard imo and ordered a tad more than what I should have. A slight unique offering at this restaurant was a soup bar. For $9, you can pick and chose some proteins and veggies and even broths and have a personalized soup. Even the garnish bar for it is a nice perk and both of these features, you might want to try at least once in your life. Now, I will admit this a tad higher pricing for their food and imo and the way I grew up it's definitely higher end. The proportions are decent to good when compared to similar places but it you compared to like a family run restaurants, then probably the price of a tad high and the proportions are a tad smaller. But, all in all, if I see a good special or wish to splurge on myself again, I'll probably be hitting this place off and on. read more

I had a craving for Szechuan peppercorn chicken and chili garlic noodles and search brought this place. A Pan Asian Fusion restaurant, a hip modern jazz background playing place with full bar and fairly large dining room. Friendly and inviting service people. With fusion restaurant you cannot predict what the chef had in mind versus my probably more traditional expectations although I believe I'm quite open to another perspective and interpretation. The menu indicate my chicken and chili noodles would be spicy so I made sure it wasn't overly spicy of which the server assured me. The dishes came rather quickly. Nicely presented. The chicken came with a bowl of rice. In the plate of chicken was chopped red peppers. Although the menu indicate peppercorn, I missed it to go with the peppery taste. It was small dry chicken pieces which was fine for most part. The spiciness did sneak up on me I did doctoring some of the chicken pieces with sauces available on the table. I don't think the table sauce did the chicken justice. Whereas the chili garlic noodles with mixed chicken, lamb and shrimp for $1 extra, did not bring any hint of garlic or chili-ness, if that is a word. I would like to have more intensive despite me asking it to not to be spicy. Perhaps it was in it. Like the chicken I tried to apply some of the sauce on the table. Also it did not do it any justice. Despite my expectations, I had enjoyed the quiet calm environment, friendly staff, different interpretation of my dishes. I will try other dishes in the future. I hope they do well.
