Your help and flexibility in planning our North Indian dinner, chaat appetizers, South Indian breakfasts, and beyond was outstanding and a major reason why our catered breakfasts, lunches, Sangeet and Wedding Receptions were a success. Not to mention, the food quality was just as deliciously high as when I've eaten in store at your restaurant. I especially want to thank Gurjeet for his attentiveness in planning our events as of one year ago. My father in law and I would go into the restaurant to talk to him and he never hesitated to sit down and go over menu details with us, even if he was busy with his day's work. Gurjeet never rushed and always took the time to listen to our specific requirements. Further, his attention to detail, like remembering we needed 10 Jain-friendly meals per event, was exceptional and he executed on these points without fail. Gurjeet was also incredibly prompt in responding to our emails with updated invoices, and in providing catering licenses and proof of insurance for our event venues. Our hotel venue in Pleasanton, where Chaat Bhavan provided two catered breakfasts and one catered lunch over two days, was quite particular in what they required of outside caterers, and Chaat Bhavan was able to meet all of their requirements. This is no small feat and a huge relief to know Chaat Bhavan could provide all necessary documentation as my wife and I had so many vendor logistics to sort out ahead of our big day! My wife and I have this funny little ritual where, even though we're not vegetarians, we head to Chat Bhawan in Dublin for our date nights. Yes, a vegetarian place - who would've thought? It's like going to a steakhouse and raving about the broccoli. First off, the chaats at Chat Bhawan are something else. I mean, they could probably make a convert out of the most devout carnivore. They're so good, I sometimes forget I'm eating at a place where paneer is the star, not steak. And don't even get me started on their Baingan Bharta - it's so exquisite, it almost feels like an apology for not serving meat. Now, let me set the scene for you: it's a weekend night, and Chat Bhawan is buzzing like a beehive. If you don't like waiting in line, well, tough luck. This place turns into a vegetarian Times Square on weekends. I've spent more time in line here than I have at some amusement parks. The staff, bless them, keep an eagle eye on you, not because they're particularly attentive, but because they seem to have a secret competition on who can get customers out the door fastest. It's like they're thinking, "Enjoy, but please leave as soon as you're done chewing your last bite." It adds a whole new thrill to dining - kind of like eating on a timer. From the moment we stepped into Chaat Bhavan, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We were graciously attended to by Mr. Sourav Sharma, whose service was nothing short of impeccable - attentive without being intrusive, and full of helpful suggestions. I chose the December special, mooli methi makki ki roti & saag, which was a delightful dish rich in flavor and texture. The maize flour roti had the perfect crisp, and the radish and fenugreek within it introduced a heartwarming spice to the meal, all complemented by the spiced mustard green puree. It's a dish I would happily recommend to anyone looking for a hearty winter meal. My lunch companion enjoyed the house thali, an array of well-curated dishes that showcased the best of what Chaat Bhavan has to offer. Each element of the thali was a testament to the authenticity and care put into their food. However, the dessert - Semiya Payasam was a class apart. Almost tempted to order a full bowl of it again. We appreciate the dedication to great service that the staff and especially Sourav showed us, making our dining experience truly special. We hired Chaat Bhavan for catering services for about 54 people on 04/08/2023. I talked to Gurjeet, and he listened to every detail and made out party beyond what I expected. People are still talking about the mouthwatering food at the party. We picked up tea (in a large teapot), sweets, golden rolls and fresh pakoras 10 AM in the morning from the restaurant. Tea was hot as we wanted it. All snacks, Golden rolls, sweets and Pakoras were fresh and delicious. We had requested the owner Gurjeet to deliver food at 0130 pm. The delivery guy was perfectly on time. He set up the food in food warmers in less than 30 minutes. The food was fresh, spectacular and everyone loved it. We took left over food home and placed it in the fridge. Even after 2 days, the food was still fresh and yummy. Now that's quality. We will be hiring Chaat Bhavan in the future for our catering needs. The owner and manager Gurjeet has become like a brother to me. I recommend everyone to use Chaat Bhavan for their catering needs. Chaat Bhavan is the biggest supporter of the local youth cricket tournaments in Dublin / San Ramon / Pleasanton for many years. This year, they started catering the food for USA Cricket regional and zonal tournament for all the participating teams including players, coaches, managers and parents from Seattle, LA, San Diego, Arizona, Portland, Nevada and Bay Area. Good thing about Chaat Bhavan is, it is not just the quality but quantity. In last 4+ years, we never got into the issue of ..food was not enough. We just hosted our 6th edition of our Thanksgiving tournament with 16 teams in Tri-Valley and in last 4 editions they catered the food and served more than 2000 / year meals for players, coaches, managers and parents and always on time, quality food with enough quantity. We are serving the youth cricket community for last 8 + years and they belief in giving back to the community which is quite a rare in the restaurant industry. We had such a wonderful experience at Chaat Bhavan! The food was absolutely delicious, and everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. A special shoutout to our server, Yuvraj -- he truly made our evening memorable. He was incredibly warm, attentive, and especially wonderful with our kids. His friendly nature and thoughtful service made a huge difference, and honestly elevated the entire dining experience. The highlight of the meal was definitely the malai chaap -- it's simply to die for! Soft, juicy, and packed with flavor, it's hands down the best we've had so far. Feedback: Yesterday, we purchased two "Paneer Bhurji Wraps" from "Chaat Bhavan Dublin" for an exorbitant $30, taxes included. Sadly, the wrap was poorly filled and overly salty, making it inedible. Despite our dissatisfaction, we couldn't return it as we discovered the issue after the restaurant closed. The staff's expectation of a tip for a pick-up order was baffling, especially when they provided no service worth rewarding. Moreover, the receptionist's rudeness, even with no other customers around, left us thoroughly discouraged. "Chaat Bhavan Dublin's" high prices and deteriorating service have made it an establishment I'll never visit again. It is advisable for others to thoroughly check their orders and, if possible, taste the food before placing trust in this establishment as they might have experienced in the past. read more

Had a wonderful lunch at one of my favorite places, Chaat Bhavan. A fun option they offer every month in addition to a huge selection is a range of special dishes which are pretty great choices. I had a hard time deciding from the August offers as they all looked amazing . But I couldn't have been happier with the Pani Puri shots with a 4 different waters! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Puneet took care of us made sure our lunch received great attention to detail and we couldn't have been happier. I intend trekking back to get to try out some of other choices this month.Pity I didn't head out earlier as I have just a week left this month :))) The best thing about them is they are always dependable, always open and provide a warm clean friendly ambience which are we always happy to go to.
