Food is SO GOOD and reasonably priced, I think I just found my new favorite Indian food restaurant. The atmosphere here is very casual, fast food vibes but it so tasty!

All the items are fresh and they have added few more items to the menu. The shrimp biriyani is delicious and if you love spicy version. This is it.

    Saag paneer over rice

We get Indian food about every every three weeks. My husband likes it very spicy and I like the flavors. This was our first visit to Biryaniz. We placed an order by phone to pick up. We had saag paneer, butter chicken and Gobi Manchurian. On a scale of 1 to 10 for heat the saag paneer was a one. I enjoyed it. There was lots of cheese and the sauce was flavorful. I really like Indian butter chicken as a rule. I was a little disappointed with this butter chicken. It was very tomatoey in flavor. Compared to some of the other local Indian restaurants however there was a good amount of chicken in the dish. The heat level was about a four. The Gobi Manchurian was a seven for heat. It was a little too spicy for me. There was a good quantity of cauliflower and it was nicely prepared. Both the butter chicken and the Gobi Manchurian were served with rice. I thought the price was good, $28 and change for the three items we ordered.

I love the food here! Their chicken birani with rice is very good. I also live their masala Chai tea. I would like it if they could make their chicken dish without any spice though because I'm sensitive to too spicy. This is not a fancy restaurant but the food is quality, well priced and very big portions. I ordered just one dish and I have enough left over for dinner too. Also it would be nice if they had diet coke and ice :)

Paneer Marsala with garlic naan. This actually came with rice. Flavor is on point and delicious!

I brought the paneer Marsala and garlic naan. It was so good. This also came with rice which as a plus. Service was friendly. Plenty of parking spaces.

I generally do their vijaywada biryani and it never disappoints. Even their saag chicken tasted pretty good. So overall would recommend

Pretty good food but service is pretty slow and not amazing. The place is clean though, much more than Shalimar down the street

We came here on a Sunday at 5PM with a party of 4 to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. We were…read morethe only party there when we arrived, and there were only about 3 tables total by the time we left, so it definitely felt empty for a weekend evening. First, the interior is beautiful. Whoever redid the old Coco Cabana space did an incredible job- every detail took my breath away. Dublin doesn't have many restaurants this upscale/chic, so it was a nice change of pace. The menu pulls from all different regions of India and plates everything in a really modern, elevated way. Our favorites were the pappad, chicken saoji, butter chicken, garlic naan, and payasam. What we ordered: - Papdi chaat (tableside, $42): So fun and unique to watch them make it tableside, and it tasted good, but $42 for a bowl of chaat felt steep. Realistically I'd pay $27-28 for this. The frozen yogurt in dry ice was a cool visual but honestly it would've tasted better as regular yogurt. - 3 types of chicken tikka masala ($22): Everyone else liked it but I thought the chicken was nothing special. Portion-wise, best for 2 people. It was awkward to cut each of the 3 flavors of chicken thigh into portions. - Pappad and chutney ($14): I LOVE papad with tamarind chutney and their basket had a nice variety of papad. Definitely recommend this one. - Laal Maas ($38): Didn't try it myself but heard it was extremely spicy and the goat was overly fatty. Wouldn't recommend based on the feedback from the table. - Chicken saoji ($34): Chicken and egg in a thick coconut sauce- a crowd pleaser, great if you love coconut curry. - Butter chicken ($32): I liked this a lot. Paired with their garlic naan (some of the best garlic naan I've ever had), it is crazy together. - Payasam ($15): My father-in-law's favorite item of the night similar to kheer seviyan with crispy fried vermicelli mixed into rice pudding. So, so good. We've been to upscale Indian restaurants in the Bay that have disappointed with beautiful interiors and lackluster food. Overall this was some of the best upscale Indian food we've had in the Bay, and the interior is genuinely gorgeous...but let's talk about the elephant in the room: this restaurant is in a Safeway shopping complex in suburban Dublin, nearby a Dave's Hot Chicken. It's a strange juxtaposition for a spot charging these prices. We spent $400 for 4 people, and while every dish was well-executed, the setting made it hard to justify fine-dining-level pricing. We also dined in a mostly empty restaurant on a weekend evening with club/house music playing throughout, which added to the disconnect between the price point and the actual experience. 5 stars for food and interior, but knocking off a star because the fine dining price tag doesn't match the suburban plaza setting.

Dedicated 1 person assisting may be coz of less occupied. Vegetarian friendly. We ordered Malai Kofta, Paneer Parat, Saag, Assorted bread Basket, live chaat tray, Biryani, Mango lassi and other drinks. Overall food taste was good but I would say live chaat tray was pathetic. Pakora of live chaat trays as so cold plus very hard to bite. Khaman dhokla added to it, was not nicely cooked. Attached some pictures here for presentation view. Walked around the building looking for the entrance. Tripped at least once on uneven payment. Upon entering I was greeted, given a menu, assigned a seat at the bar. Seeing it was a drink menu, I asked for a food menu. After consultation with bartender, I ordered. He gave order to waitress. Never saw him again. 5ish minutes later, waitress came over to inquire what I wanted to drink. "Water" i replied. Water came 12 minutes later with my food. Offerings: South India fare: soup, entrees, salads, entrees, vegetarian, non-vegetarian. Also pasta, India habachi. Bites: Dakshin Chicken Chettinad (18.99) med. Spicy. Small bowl with big spoon -boneless chicken pieces slowly braised in a savory with many spices (garlic, cumin, black pepper, star anise, funnel seeds, kok slaps...), south curry leaves, and coconut. Every bite deliz. -very condensed savory mix with plentiful Unami. Hotness from peppers not chilis. Tandoori garlic naan (3.99) ordered this. Got plain. Tasted plain. Not spiciness. Desired garlic not to repel vampires but to lower my cholesterol. Didn't discover discrepancy till I checked receipt. When finished, I asked the new bartender for bill. He called waitress. She came over and asked can she clear plates? "Ok" I said. She did and disappeared. Asked bartender again for my bill. Decor is lots of bright lites, big dining area, 2 flatscreens tuned to sports. A fish tank with no fish, lots of hanging faux leaves from ceiling & the left wall. 3.5 stars Food wonderful. Service & decor underwhelming. Doubtful repeat.

I tried their weekend special Non-Veg Thali, which came with mutton gravy, chicken gravy, rasam, mor, poriyal, pickle, chapathi, appalam, plus freshly made Chicken 65 and an omelette. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and homemade -- and all of this for just $16.99!! So far, this is honestly one of the best lunch thalis I've had anywhere in the Bay Area. Outstanding food and incredible value for the price. The ambience is also very pleasant, and the restaurant itself is quite spacious. It's a nice, comfortable, family-friendly place, which makes the overall dining experience even better. I also had a chance to meet and talk with Chef Mr. Siva. He was very humble, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food. I feel this is exactly the kind of restaurant that people should support and help grow. Before leaving, I also got a mutton biryani to-go. They gave me a small cup to taste beforehand, and based on that, I already know it's going to be really good! I'm giving this review 5 stars because that's the maximum Yelp allows, but honestly, the food, freshness, quality, and value here deserve 7 stars -- or whatever the highest rating you can name!
