We had early lunch here and ordered Paneer Paratha, Aloo & Pyaaz Paratha, Chole Bhatura and Paneer Kulcha with Chole. They were served with onion, mirchi, pickle and makhan (traditional). All were good in taste (paneer could have better spices and make it more tasty though). They had buffet too, which we may try next time as there were many vegetarian curries. Very rude customer service. This is 3 rd time we visited, and this time experience was worst. We waited in line for 35 mins, and guy said we are closed, not taking any orders. I tried earlier to ask him about how long wait is, and he was in angry mode, not at all responding. Several other customers were waiting for their order and guy was delivering items on wrong place. My husband and I ordered aloo paratha and Amritsar kulcha with chole. We had to wait for around 10 minutes to get a table. After being seated the food took around 15-20 minutes to arrive. This is a small hole in the wall restaurant with some of the most authentic Punjabi food I've ever had! They offer a variety of items on their menu but I opted for the aloo & onion paratha. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Worst place to eat a decent, hygienic food. The parathas are meh. I asked for spicy paneer paratha and all they could do was put a lot of green chilis in it. That's not how it is supposed to be and all it tasted was of chili. Aloo paratha was burned from one side. The achari paratha tasted bad. The white butter and raita is the only good thing. The dish it was served in was not cleaned properly. The table was sticky and not cleaned as well. Had to request staff multiple times to clean but they could care less. And it wasn't even busy. Half the things are missing from the counter where it is self served. If this is how it is for customer, how wonder how bad it will be in kitchen. They have seating arrangements inside and out as well where we chose the former. We ordered a variety of parathas (Namely gobi, aloo onion, Hara bhara, paneer, aloo Punjabi pyaaz paratha and papad paratha ) along with paneer tikka masala. I wish I could give them negative stars! They have the most poor customer service. We have been there before and had a completely different experience. We went in as a party of 17 people, were waiting for a couple of people. Our people were sitting on the tables and they made us get up for a few people who placed their order. Obviously we came in to get food, we won't just sit on the tables for no reason. The guy at the cashier was extremely unpleasant and told us that they can't hold tables and if people come in and pay first would get a table. It was ridiculous how they couldn't wait for few minutes and made our people get up for other customers. He kept repeating the same sentence that we can't hold tables. I have worked in customer service for a long time and I am pretty sure there are exceptions if there is a huge group.I and my family of 17 people felt disrespected being treated like that.On top of that the cashier told his other cashier that " I am not taking their order, you take it" Never would go back there! But they refused to take any order even though they have taken one order just before us. Moreover , the server was very rude while talking . We told them we can take to go order also as we are travelling from south bay which is like 45 mins of travel. But they refused and said we are tried of taking orders and serving . The girl who does the lunch service will not even acknowledge you when you reach, we waited 15 mins for someone to make eye contact or to tell us where to sit. When no one came, we went to an empty table and another customer said they were sitting there, so it was awkward but we got up and went to another. We were four adults and two toddlers who don't eat Indian food yet and ordered four buffets plus two other meals. But since we took few bites of each other's plates we were told that we will have to pay for additional buffet. We would have left much more in tip than the stupid additional cost.
