    Chicken biryani

All in all, I would say this place is average. I really wanted to give them a better review but the food was oversalted + not as flavorful as we would like. We got our food to go so did not get to experience what in-person dining would be like but I would budget for more time because it seemed like even when we ordered something to go it took a bit long for the food to come out.

Had food catered from this restaurant for an event. The quantity of food for the price was good. The food was fresh but too oily and spicy. The biryani rice did not have any meat flavor. It seemed like it was sauce mixed in cooked rice and heated in an oven. The gobi Manchurian was too spicy. The service was timely. Looking at the interior of the restaurant the ambiance was good and clean, given it is a new restaurant. Bottom line not my first choice for Indian food as there are other better alternatives in the region. Sorry.

    Vijayawada Biryani

Ordered Vijayawada biryani and pepper chicken today based on recent reviews. It was disappointing--frankly, it's not even biryani, just some flavored rice with chicken.

    Chicken 65 Biryani

The chicken boneless biryani is the best in the entire Bay Area . The taste is authentic and I had booked catering for my event ( almost 60 to 80 people ) . Everyone liked the food and they even do live dosa .I will recommend the restaurant to everyone.

A friend recommended this place. We did a take out. While their gobi 65 could have been more savory, the Bajji biryani was excellent.

The service was extremely friendly and quick. The biryani was flavorful and the chicken was tender.

We came here on a Sunday at 5PM with a party of 4 to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. We were…read morethe only party there when we arrived, and there were only about 3 tables total by the time we left, so it definitely felt empty for a weekend evening. First, the interior is beautiful. Whoever redid the old Coco Cabana space did an incredible job- every detail took my breath away. Dublin doesn't have many restaurants this upscale/chic, so it was a nice change of pace. The menu pulls from all different regions of India and plates everything in a really modern, elevated way. Our favorites were the pappad, chicken saoji, butter chicken, garlic naan, and payasam. What we ordered: - Papdi chaat (tableside, $42): So fun and unique to watch them make it tableside, and it tasted good, but $42 for a bowl of chaat felt steep. Realistically I'd pay $27-28 for this. The frozen yogurt in dry ice was a cool visual but honestly it would've tasted better as regular yogurt. - 3 types of chicken tikka masala ($22): Everyone else liked it but I thought the chicken was nothing special. Portion-wise, best for 2 people. It was awkward to cut each of the 3 flavors of chicken thigh into portions. - Pappad and chutney ($14): I LOVE papad with tamarind chutney and their basket had a nice variety of papad. Definitely recommend this one. - Laal Maas ($38): Didn't try it myself but heard it was extremely spicy and the goat was overly fatty. Wouldn't recommend based on the feedback from the table. - Chicken saoji ($34): Chicken and egg in a thick coconut sauce- a crowd pleaser, great if you love coconut curry. - Butter chicken ($32): I liked this a lot. Paired with their garlic naan (some of the best garlic naan I've ever had), it is crazy together. - Payasam ($15): My father-in-law's favorite item of the night similar to kheer seviyan with crispy fried vermicelli mixed into rice pudding. So, so good. We've been to upscale Indian restaurants in the Bay that have disappointed with beautiful interiors and lackluster food. Overall this was some of the best upscale Indian food we've had in the Bay, and the interior is genuinely gorgeous...but let's talk about the elephant in the room: this restaurant is in a Safeway shopping complex in suburban Dublin, nearby a Dave's Hot Chicken. It's a strange juxtaposition for a spot charging these prices. We spent $400 for 4 people, and while every dish was well-executed, the setting made it hard to justify fine-dining-level pricing. We also dined in a mostly empty restaurant on a weekend evening with club/house music playing throughout, which added to the disconnect between the price point and the actual experience. 5 stars for food and interior, but knocking off a star because the fine dining price tag doesn't match the suburban plaza setting.

Dedicated 1 person assisting may be coz of less occupied. Vegetarian friendly. We ordered Malai Kofta, Paneer Parat, Saag, Assorted bread Basket, live chaat tray, Biryani, Mango lassi and other drinks. Overall food taste was good but I would say live chaat tray was pathetic. Pakora of live chaat trays as so cold plus very hard to bite. Khaman dhokla added to it, was not nicely cooked. Attached some pictures here for presentation view. Hope you get an idea from this review.

Today, I happened to be nearby and finally got the opportunity to stop by -- and I'm so glad I did! I tried their weekend special Non-Veg Thali, which came with mutton gravy, chicken gravy, rasam, mor, poriyal, pickle, chapathi, appalam, plus freshly made Chicken 65 and an omelette. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and homemade -- and all of this for just $16.99!! So far, this is honestly one of the best lunch thalis I've had anywhere in the Bay Area. Outstanding food and incredible value for the price. The ambience is also very pleasant, and the restaurant itself is quite spacious. It's a nice, comfortable, family-friendly place, which makes the overall dining experience even better. I also had a chance to meet and talk with Chef Mr. Siva. He was very humble, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food. I feel this is exactly the kind of restaurant that people should support and help grow. Before leaving, I also got a mutton biryani to-go. They gave me a small cup to taste beforehand, and based on that, I already know it's going to be really good! I'm giving this review 5 stars because that's the maximum Yelp allows, but honestly, the food, freshness, quality, and value here deserve 7 stars -- or whatever the highest rating you can name! Outstanding food, great ambience, excellent value, and a wonderful experience overall. One of the best lunch thalis I've had in the Bay Area. Highly recommend this place to everyone!
