Indian eatery in Dublin-San Ramon area that serves excellent biryani. I met an old friend and colleague here for lunch today and we ordered the Goat Ghee Roast Biryani ($15.99) which is one of their specialties. We also ordered the saag paneer (usually mild) with naan to hedge our bets and get some healthy veggies into our system! The place is quite bare bones from a décor perspective as it is mostly a takeout joint, but we seated ourselves at one of the few tables and my friend grabbed a pitcher of water and a couple of plastic cups. The food arrived quickly - served in compostable serving ware, and the plates were also compostable. But the serving spoons and forks were plastic, strangely enough. The food was spicier than I expected. The saag paneer was flavorful and enjoyable once I learned to fish out the large chili peppers from it. The biryani was excellent (thankfully it was not as spicy as the saag paneer), with big chunks of goat curry, but it was a bit on the oily side. We discarded the plastic-ware, compostable plates and food scraps, and other waste in the SINGLE waste bin, hoping they would sort this out later. They need to have separate plastic waste, green waste, and landfill waste bins as a minimum. Will likely do takeout in the future if I feel like having some biryani. Then I can eat and recycle without guilt.

Stopped by specifically for takeaway without any previous recommendations or any idea about this venue beforehand, purely chosen for its convenience to where I happened to be .... and the efficiency, value and flavors did not disappoint! It is located in an outdoor mall, no outdoor seating but ample space ... somewhat generic non-decored space inside. Free chai tea sample while waiting! The interior is very commercial and practical, presenting items in standard and family sizes, including curries, biryani and other goodies. Based on elaborate displays, apparently cakes and other eggless treats were on offer too! On a Friday night, lots of patrons, each waiting their turn... We ordered takeaway.... butter chicken, saag paneer and best of all lamb biryani. We also had garlic and butter naans and condiments. My 3 item order was prompt... and ready to take home. The portions were generous and the flavors were spot on! Great food at a decent price with obliging and efficient service!

Ordered many times from here. Good service, very predictable quality. Family size Biryani is our favorite takeout.

I had a good experience with Goat Ghee biriyani. I am hoping that I get better taste and more improvements ahead in the year 2026.

When you walk inside, I was getting Bollywood movie vibes. It was colourful, lively, and quite fun to eat in this environment. Portions were reasonable and the service was pleasant. I ordered the lamb chops served with naan and salad. The lamb was flavorful and tender. It had just the right level of spice. The cilantro chutney had quite a kick ~ definitely spicy! Next time I'd love to sit outside since the patio has a more romantic vibe. Either way, you get the best of both worlds for food and environment quality!

Most Indian restaurants don't offer kids menus (or even coloring sheets), so as a mom, this immediately stood out to me before even getting into the food. We went for a weekend lunch with friends. The outdoor seating area is fantastic--spacious, well laid out, and never felt crowded. Parking can be a bit limited, but there are plenty of Tesla chargers in the area (bonus for Tesla owners), and we were still able to find parking without much trouble. We ordered lamb chops, malai chicken, seekh kabab, items from the kids menu, butter chicken, dal makhani, and naan--plus beer and a milkshake. Meats: Overall excellent. The lamb chops and malai chicken were standouts. The seekh kabab was good but could use a bit more flavor or less flour/batter. Kids Menu: Huge win. We tried Maggi, cheese naan, fries, chicken nuggets, and a mango milkshake. Everything was flavorful, not spicy, and kid-approved. Entrees: The butter chicken was amazing. Everyone claims they've found "the best" butter chicken, but this one truly stands out in the area--comparable to Taj (Livermore) and Sanskaar (Livermore). I'd definitely order extra next time. The owner is warm and welcoming and shared plans to continue building this into a more authentic, India-culture-inspired dining experience. We're really looking forward to coming back.

Walked around the building looking for the entrance. Tripped at least once on uneven payment. Upon entering I was greeted, given a menu, assigned a seat at the bar. Never saw him again. 5ish minutes later, waitress came over to inquire what I wanted to drink. "Water" i replied. Water came 12 minutes later with my food. Offerings: South India fare: soup, entrees, salads, entrees, vegetarian, non-vegetarian. Also pasta, India habachi. Bites: Dakshin Chicken Chettinad (18.99) med. Spicy. Small bowl with big spoon -boneless chicken pieces slowly braised in a savory with many spices (garlic, cumin, black pepper, star anise, funnel seeds, kok slaps...), south curry leaves, and coconut. Every bite deliz. -very condensed savory mix with plentiful Unami. Hotness from peppers not chilis. Tandoori garlic naan (3.99) ordered this. Got plain. Tasted plain. Not spiciness. Desired garlic not to repel vampires but to lower my cholesterol. Didn't discover discrepancy till I checked receipt. When finished, I asked the new bartender for bill. He called waitress. She came over and asked can she clear plates? "Ok" I said. She did and disappeared. Asked bartender again for my bill. Decor is lots of bright lites, big dining area, 2 flatscreens tuned to sports. A fish tank with no fish, lots of hanging faux leaves from ceiling & the left wall. 3.5 stars Food wonderful. Service & decor underwhelming. Doubtful repeat.
