Tina always takes care of me and mother every time we go. She's the first person who did my eyebrows when I turned 13 years old and still does up until this day. I spend a lot on nails I moved here from fountain valley I use to go to bling nail studio they are the best no issues ever anywhere I've been. So when I say this believe me don't come here! I've never had a bad experience at a nail salon. the woman at 6pm did my nails she looked exhausted it took her 2 hours to remove my acrylic nails filing slow and cutting me along the way. I told her I wanted a sculpted French due to my allergy to gel and the light. they didn't have the right size nails so she used this huge toe nail for my thumb nail. I wanted something clean natural it was anything but. she did this dip powder with super glue and got it all over my cuticles and hands. she proceeded to pull the gel light on. that's when I told her for the 3rd time I'm allergic. she painted the French all crooked they didn't match at all. I came in expecting to leave feeling better and I felt worse. i made it clear what I needed and and I got scammed by this nail shop. if you're a regular and trying to find somewhere new don't come here it's not worth it. i paid $60 and tipped her $29 because I felt bad for her she looked exhausted. What did I get my pinky nail Cracked off she didn't glue the tip all the way and the dip powder took my whole nail with it when I was washing my hands and put lotion. I came in the next day for them to fix she try to say It was my fault. shitty products shitty service and I come in trusting these people with my nails and now i cant work with my right hand. They did not approve refund inside as she argued with me 10 min about a free removal. I already got scammed they got their money it's all people care about now a days. Got a manicure and pedicure. Lady at the front kept complimenting me, trying to push for gel nails as I looked at the nail samples she showed me. I said several times I only wanted "regular" manicure and NOT GEL. Woman put the gel manicure on me anyway and kept me waiting on the chair (I turned on the massage chair and it wasn't that great-didn't get as much of my lower back as I wanted.) When the lady told me I owed 40 dollars, I reminded her I only got a regular mani+pedi and that I did not want gel. She told me the color nail polish I chose was the gel instead of regular, and that she gave me what I wanted. She knew it was my first time in a salon and didn't warn me that I picked a nail color that was reserved only for gel nails even though I kept refusing to get gel! Pedicure was a regular kind. Polish chipped once I got home. Maybe it's because of the shoes I was wearing without socks. Oh well. I was sitting in uncomfortable positions for my nails by twisting to one side... This salon is not as sanitary as I'd like (stains and residue left on the foot bath) and it doesn't look like they sanitized the tools they used after they used it on me, because they simply threw them back inside the drawer (?). I also didn't see any of the employees wash their hands. The closest thing to hand-washing was one person who used a spray bottle of alcohol on her hands. When I come here I usually just get my nails done by whom ever is available. The service is always great, the women are always friendly, but today the service was spot on. Helen took about a good hour in a half doing my nails and she even fixed one that had cracked, so that I wouldn't have to cut them. Needed a quick pedi before a flight. This place was close to home and had availability for 2 immediately. +1 STAR Sat us down quickly. +1 STAR The massage chair is one the best I've sat in. +1 STAR The water was a great temperature. +1 STAR My wife thoroughly enjoyed her pedicure with her technician. +1 STAR My technician used a pumice bar, the yellow corse one that usually used for callous removal on the top of my toes. THE TOP OF MY TOES. Now disclaimer, I wanted to use it myself to try to get a problem part of my big toe. She insisted she do it. But I gave her strict instructions to just lightly take the pumice over my big toe. She literally scrubbed all of my toes except the big toe and caused ALL OF MY TOES (except the big one) to bleed. - 5 STARS It was extremely painful. I told her not to do it again on the second foot. She did it so fast I didn't catch her. She insisted it was my idea. Which clearly was a miscommunication between us. But I should not have to her not to scrub hard with that type of pumice on the top of ones toes. I was unable to finish the pedicure, but gladly paid for the service she did provide. The disheartening part is that she wanted me to pay $27 for causing ALL OF MY TOES TO BLEED by scrubbing off my skin and for not finishing the service. She did give me some Neosporin but my skin is gone. Definitely will not be returning. My wife will likely revisit her technician again. read more

I've tried this place 3 times because it's around the corner from me but I won't go back. Every time I come I receive rude comments, last time I was there I asked for a nail color (light purple) and they said that it was too light for me bc of my skin tone and to pick something darker. I was also told I need to get my eyebrows done because they're "too bushy" (they were plucked but styled fluffy for reference). Overall I'm uncomfortable whenever I go there and would rather drive somewhere further for better service. read more

Polished chipped next day. Not sure there was even a top coat. Message chair was broken so I sat the entire time w a roller ball sticking into my back. Very hot inside the salon, the fan kept turning off, not comfy. My nail tech was very sweet, nice lady, just did mediocre pedi. I won't be back. read more

If I say I want my nails done, that's ALL I want done. Don't try to upsell stuff to me. They wanted me to get waxing done but I had just been to another place for waxing (a place where they don't reuse someone else's wax). Hanh was not professional. Avoid Hanh if you want a good set of nails. She did not prep my nails well and there were so many bubbles inside the nail polish. Also the nail polish was all the way touching my skin. I told her to redo it and she keep reapplying nail polish making it worse. Thank god Tom was there and he kindly remove them all. The most annoying part is when I asked Hanh's name, she pretended she didn't hear me and ignored me like I wasn't there. Like why can't you just own up to what you did wrong and try again? This was one of the worst nail experiences ever! I came in here before a red carpet event. I got the gel nails that every other time I have got them they lasted for 3 weeks. I went here because it is a couple blocks from my apartment. There was no place to rest my foot as my toes dried under the LED light. My foot was balancing it on the edge of the tub and it was digging into my foot. I also paid more than I have ever paid before for nails. There are so many more better options. If I was making this all up, why would I go into such detail let alone even care to write a long review? As I stated I went into the salon the second time because it was close to my place and I paid because your nail technicians performed services - they were mediocre but they were services nonetheless. You would've been crying if I didn't pay so why are you crying that I did pay? You weren't there the day I came in so how would you know if I was there or not. There were two women there both times. Worst salon EVER! I wouldn't return to this place even if the service was free. The rudest employee I've ever encountered in my 20+ years of getting my nails done. I came in with 2 broken Acrylic nails and asked to repair. The lady repaired but shaped the nails completely different from my coffin set. They were almond shaped. When I asked her to fix it to match, she threw a tantrum and said I was only paying $8 (what they charge). She was bitching and complaining the entire time whole fixing her work and told me that all of my nails were ugly. Her attitude was so bad I left without polishing the new nails. I was excited to try this salon since it's so close to my place. I got there at 10:45 on a Wed and asked for a pedicure. There was only one other customer getting her nails done. They sat me in a chair immediately, but no one came over to start until 11. The technician I was assigned kept stopping to check her phone, to talk to other customers and have conversations with her coworkers. I don't care if they're gossiping, I just need her to multitask! The prices are reasonable, $35 for a deluxe pedicure, but I felt like other things were more important than the service I was paying for. It's also awkward they wax people's faces and trim their nose hairs while they're in the pedicure chair next to you... It's 12:22 and I'm just now finished and waiting for my toes to dry. I'll try another salon for my next pedi. PS: It looks like the owner has been claiming all negative reviews are fake. I didn't know he was the owner until I just came to post this review and saw his picture. He and his leash-less chihuahua came and left several times while I was there. read more

Who gets their eyebrows done the day before their wedding? I will go out on a limb and say a lot of women do. Very odd that the owner claims everyone who gives a negative review is fake. What owner takes over a year to respond to a negative post and claim I am fake. I think you are a fake owner. I am most definitely not fake. I gave a fair review of my experience. Also, I did visit your shop immediately following my wedding in 2016 to show your staff what happened. You, unsurprisingly, were not there to own up to you and your staff's mistake. After keeping me waiting, the techician comes from the back of the shop and totally disregarded my concerns and did not acknowledge her mistake. That level of disservice was enough for me to never want to visit your shop again. Now, after a year, the owner responds and does not admit any wrongdoing. This is plenty of reason for me to change my rating to 1 star. And your shop is getting one star because the app won't allow me to give a negative star rating. read more

Sorry but this place is pretty much garbage and I regret giving them a second chance. The person doing. my pedicure of course tried to up sell me and barely did a decent job. I guess a regular pedicure isn't good enough which by the way is 30.00 and 15.00 for gel polish. Not even going to mention the exorbitant price increase but if I pay for a service I don't expect to be half ass treated. The entire pedicure was prob 25 min at the most she kept clipping my skin which annoyed me and I'm sorry but the tools aren't the cleanest. Update: so the owner thinks I'm a fake person because he didn't like what I had to say... again.. terrible service- if someone has a problem, ask them about it in a timely manner- responding to my yelp review a year later is not timely. I can see that anyone who writes a negative review is given the same treatment. I am not going to get into a Yelp war with you, Russ... some people love this spa by the reviews, some people really don't. I'm in the latter category. Grow up and learn to have a better grasp on customer service and how to respond to issues that are raised. Original review: terrible service... perhaps my expectation is a little off, but when someone gives you a chair to sit in, I expect to have someone start services within 10-15 min... 1) the woman who sat me just turned on the water and left (it was WAY too hot)... the lady doing services in the next chair had to turn it down 2) they clearly forgot about me as the water was about to overflow and again the lady next to me had to come to the rescue. 3) I sat there for 35 minutes without someone coming to me... and yet they kept having people sit down... so clearly this isn't an anomaly- they don't have the staffing to serve people who are there and instead of giving an estimate of time that is realistic, they just ignore you. When I told them I had to go and I needed a towel, the lady said "oh she's coming" and gave me, I kid you not, a postage sized wash cloth to dry off with.... no thank you.
