We had a wonderful experience while having lunch today @ In N Out in Camarillo. There was a Long Line on the drive-through yet inside the restaurant, our order was ready within (what seemed like) 5 Minutes. The Fries were fresh and fluffy and Even the special requests where in point. We noticed Ian, the attendant whipping tables, when we were looking for a place to sit. He was cheerful and kind while doing his job. When we were almost done, he stopped by asked us how we had enjoyed our food and offered to clear off our table. One of us was not yet finished and he offered to return when we were done. As promised, he retuned. Still with a cheerful attitude. The best part was that he was like that with everyone there. Came through for lunch right after shopping at the Camarillo Outlets and it's super close, so it's a perfect lunch after walking around all morning. This is definitely one of the bigger locations I've seen, which is nice because it didn't feel too cramped. The line actually wasn't bad at all. We grabbed two Double-Double meals and got the fries extra crispy and add grilled onions to the burger. It was delicious. I've been eating In-N-Out since I was a kid, and it never misses. This has been my go to location for many years and is super consistent. The parking lot and drive through are not as crazy as the other locations, and it's easy to get in and out of. The staff are always friendly and quick considering the endless line. I always get the hamburger and sometimes get the well done fries and their ratio/flavors are always right here. read more

When it comes to Burgers, everyone has an opinion. A group of us had an entire debate and discussion around the topic. We went back and forth on meat patties, the flavor and seasoning of the patties, the bun, the ingredients used, the custom toppings like "Special Sauce" or "Animal Style"...etc. etc. When it comes down to it, In-N-Out Burger is in the Top 5. Yet, it's all subjective, just like the list of Top 5 Rappers, everyone has a different list. Whenever you compare, the list is always different. Some are left off the list, that others have included. Make your own list! The Double Meat, no cheese, with Lettuce, Pickles, Mustard, and Ketchup only...that's my favorite combination. Not a fan of "Special Sauce" - Thousand Island Dressing and Ketchup mixed together. The classic, Double-Double contains two meat patties, and two slices of cheese, along with their Special Sauce, lettuce, pickles and onions. The carnivores out there can ask for the 4 by 4 (4x4), which is....you guessed it 4 meat patties and 4 slices of cheese. Tip: I'm a little on the health conscious side, so I do my Double Meat burger as described above. If you wanted to be healthier, you can do that in as a Lettuce Wrap. I also ask for fries with no salt. It allows you to minimize your salt intake and get a fresh, crisp batch of fries. Then add your own salt and pepper. read more

Camarillo had the first In N out in our area . Driving over here to treat ourselves to In N Out is a core memory . In N Out has become our favorite burger fast food place . Not expensive and we have never had an issue with customer service . Lines are always long but that's a given . Honestly, if you don't want to deal with a busy burger place don't come here . I'm honestly really disappointed with what I saw at this location. I've always had good experiences here, but this completely changed how I see the place. I parked in the dirt lot next to the store because the main lot was full. While I was walking down toward the entrance, I noticed something that made me stop in disbelief. Sitting inside a grey car that's looks like a chevy. In the parking lot were two employees still in their uniforms. One male employee had the female employee's foot in his mouth. I don't care what people do on their own time, but doing something like that in uniform, in the parking lot of the business, where customers can easily see it, crosses a line. We went to In-N-Out around 8:30 PM on 1/4/26 and had an extremely unprofessional drive-thru experience. The two employees taking orders were laughing and messing around and did not take our order at all. After waiting with no acknowledgment, I moved the car forward. One employee followed us but still didn't take the order and continued talking to his coworker in the drive through. They continued to have side conversations and be rude when we spoke to them. They ignored us 100% as they were in their own conversations. When he finally asked, we had to repeat our order multiple times. At the payment window, the employee read us the wrong order and admitted she didn't know what our order was. We explained the issue, but the employees didn't seem to care. A manager named Sean came out but did not acknowledge the mistake. He told us to pull forward and said they would have our order read, even though he admitted he didn't know our order. At this point , acknowledge his staff messed up.. but NOPE! We ended up repeating our order for the fifth time. He tried to memorize it, failed, and finally wrote it down. After all that waiting, we received our food cold. In-N-Out is usually known for great service, which made this experience especially disappointing. read more

I love In-N-Out not only because they are the best burgers ever but because they have good values, great customer service and it's always fresh! We ordered our food and waited a couple minutes but not so bad. The fries were so crispy and perfectly salted. I ordered a protein style double double cheeseburger for me, since I'm trying to eat a lot less gluten. I also ordered a strawberry milkshake which has just the right amount of sweetness. I love this In N Out location so I wanted to give them a good review. I'm really trying to cut back on fast food, fast food isn't usually quality and it adds up $$. However, I will always be an In N Out girly! If I am going to cheat and get fast food then the only place I usually want is in n out. It's always made to order, tastes delish, and service is 5 stars as far as a fast food spot goes. I love this location as it's convenient being located right off the freeway. I also like that they have a pretty massive parking lot so even when the lines get super long you usually aren't ending up on the main road which is a problem at a lot of locations. The inside is clean and spacious for when dining in but I will say 90% of the time I'm going through the drive thru. I probably don't need to give you the rundown on the menu but everything is good and I love that they have a simple menu. I also appreciate that the days I'm waiting a slightly healthier option I can get a lettuce wrapped burger or a flying Dutchmen (just patties and cheese). On a cheat day though my usual is a #1 with well done fries and a pink lemonade. Yum! Pro tip: I refuse to wait in the long lines for in n out. You won't see me do it! lol. I always come at opening or off hours on a weekday like 2 or 3pm and usually I can get almost right up to the speaker without waiting. It's worked for me time and time again, the best way to do it. Everyone that works here is super nice and helpful. I also appreciate that my order is NEVER wrong here, they always make it exactly as I order it and I'm never missing food when I drive off. I'm astonished this location didn't have a yelp page yet. I'll be the first to add, as my civic yelp duty! In terms of the burger and fries, it was the best thing I tasted all day on Friday! The double-double was cooked perfectly, with the perfect crunch of lettuce, tomatoes, and chopped raw onions, along with the satisfying whole grilled onion texture reminiscent of Diner-like burgers. You forget this is a fast-food place! You could easily tell the beef was not frozen as it emanated notes of grilled protein on a summer July 4th night in your backyard. The fries, which to be fair, are usually not as good at In-n-out. However, these fries were amazing when it is cooked "Light-Well" but also animal style. I could taste the cheese and animal style spread with every bite of the fries, smothered in tomato ketchup. I would like to talk about a positive experience here in addition to the burgers being so good. At 11:33p m PST on 11/08/24, Friday, I visited this establishment for my Double-Double (extra toast, whole grilled onions, chopped raw onions) and animal-style fries (lite-well) for a take-out order. Because my order was extra toast and light-well fries, it took about 15 minutes to cook longer -- I expected it and didn't mind. However, when my order was finally called, an employee named Gail joyfully greeted me and asked me excitedly, "How are you?!" as he was handing the food over. He was also busy but the fact that he did it with a smile on his face, brought innumerable joy to my face. I asked for extra spread and lap-mat as he already offered ketchup. As he brought the lap-mat over, he also bowed while giving it to me, which made me feel very honored. I really appreciate the extra effort and mile he did as it is exemplary of what In-N-Out should strive for in their employees... even in the dead of night at 11:33 pm. In terms of ambiance, the restaurant is clean as can be on a busy Friday night. Case in point, a student dropped his milkshake. He notified management. Not only did he get a new milkshake but the in n out associate first came out with a safety cone, broom and dustpan, then returned with a mop, then returned with a dry mop squeegee. It was very impressive that she did all 3 in an orderly fashion while maintaining safety. If that isn't a testament to cleanliness, I don't know what is. Additionally, the bathrooms here are always well stocked with hand soap with a clean sink and floor, despite the heavy traffic of just one restroom per gender. I would definitely come here again as the food tasted so fresh, especially on a late night! read more

Compared to all the In-N-Outs that I've been to, I have to admit this one is on the lower end of the list. First, the location is near a freeway, and so sitting outside can be a noisy (and dusty) experience. The cars for drive-thru also loop around this area, so it is not the most enjoyable experience. Onto the food, I ordered my usual double-double and side of fries. The burger was a tad on the cold side, lukewarm - ish, and the fries were very salty. The patty was salty, too, but the fries were even more noticeably salty. Overall, this location left much to be desired compared to the "standard." We visited with our 2 parents (ages 86 and 87) who use a walker and wheelchair, respectively. The entire staff was accomodating and friendly...but Mark was incredible! He offered to assist us with seating arrangements, delivered our food to our table, and checked in with us to see if we needed any other items. As we had our roadtrip lunch, I was able to see Mark providing the same level of caring service to other guests, especially those who where using using canes for stability. One of the first In-N-Out locations in Ventura County. Been coming to this OG spot for many, many years. Whether it's cravings, or after shopping or late night bites. I know In-N-Out won't break the bank & will satisfy my hunger. It's a very simple menu. OG's know what the secret menu lingo is, you know who you are ;) If you come at peak times it can be a full house inside the restaurant. And you'll see the long line of cars through the parking lot & out on the street. If you're patient, the line can go fast... I mean, have you seen those In-N-Out workers hustle, prep & make all the food?! When I was in my teens I remember when going thru the drive thru, & seeing the potato person just be super fast & bust out on those potato slices. Potato, into the slicer, press. All by hand! It's raining sunshine... Driving back to work and needed a quick bite to eat. This location has been the biggest let down. The drive thru line was very long so decided to head inside. Seems like this location is always very very very busy maybe since it's right off the freeway. Took almost 20 minutes to get my food, then it was a bit on the colder side. Asked for chopped chilis, almost non existent until my last bite. Even the pink lemonade tasted a bit watered down, never had that before. Never been let down at In n Out before but I'm sure they've had better days. Keep up the good burgers! I know I'll be back, nothing like a burger, fries and shake. Miraculously came in for lunch and there was hardly a line. Food came out pretty quickly. We ended up dining in and sat outside. There's a good amount of seating inside and outside. Ordered a triple-triple and a cheeseburger protein style with animal fries. Food was pretty standard. This is our favorite In-N-Out in the area. Great quality, consistent flavors, and great customer service. Today, Abigail was our cashier and she was very friendly and happy to help. i'd rate it half a star if i could, horrible service never been to an in n out ran this badly. My friend ordered a single cheeseburger that took 40 plus minutes. Around the 20 min mark we asked about the status of the single cheeseburger since I had already received my food and it was starting to get cold. We were told the ordered wasn't processed in their end or something along those lines, the employee said it will be out. I figured they realized the amount of time we had waited and would rush the single cheeseburger out. After the next 20 minutes we abandoned the burger and left the restaurant.
