    Well done fries

This has been my go to location for many years and is super consistent. The parking lot and drive through are not as crazy as the other locations, and it's easy to get in and out of. The staff are always friendly and quick considering the endless line. I always get the hamburger and sometimes get the well done fries and their ratio/flavors are always right here.

Truly famous for a reason My go-to order: - double double animal style with extra grilled onions and chopped chilis - Flying Dutchman with a whole grilled onion wrap - fries extra well done (+ animal style if I'm feeling it) - neapolitan shake (vanilla, chocolate, & strawberry)

In-n-Out on the go!!! Food truck comes to you!

When it comes to Burgers, everyone has an opinion. A group of us had an entire debate and discussion around the topic. We went back and forth on meat patties, the flavor and seasoning of the patties, the bun, the ingredients used, the custom toppings like "Special Sauce" or "Animal Style"...etc. etc. When it comes down to it, In-N-Out Burger is in the Top 5. Yet, it's all subjective, just like the list of Top 5 Rappers, everyone has a different list. Whenever you compare, the list is always different. Some are left off the list, that others have included. Make your own list! The Double Meat, no cheese, with Lettuce, Pickles, Mustard, and Ketchup only...that's my favorite combination. Not a fan of "Special Sauce" - Thousand Island Dressing and Ketchup mixed together. The classic, Double-Double contains two meat patties, and two slices of cheese, along with their Special Sauce, lettuce, pickles and onions. The carnivores out there can ask for the 4 by 4 (4x4), which is....you guessed it 4 meat patties and 4 slices of cheese. Tip: I'm a little on the health conscious side, so I do my Double Meat burger as described above. If you wanted to be healthier, you can do that in as a Lettuce Wrap. I also ask for fries with no salt. It allows you to minimize your salt intake and get a fresh, crisp batch of fries. Then add your own salt and pepper.

In n out always hits the spot when we are on road trips. I love customizing my burger to my taste, and they always do a great job. Drink bar and ketchup and banana peppers well stocked.

You want a great burger and fries? You need to stop here! Best In-N-Out I've been to. We usually do the drive through, but we have eating inside a couple of time. I love In-N-Out not only because they are the best burgers ever but because they have good values, great customer service and it's always fresh! We ordered our food and waited a couple minutes but not so bad. The fries were so crispy and perfectly salted. I ordered a protein style double double cheeseburger for me, since I'm trying to eat a lot less gluten. I also ordered a strawberry milkshake which has just the right amount of sweetness. The restaurant is kept really clean! I saw a couple of employees who were cleaning tables and sweeping during the time were there.

I ordered a cheeseburgurger combo and took a bite into my burger, and there was a hair in it. I puked out the door!!!

I love this In N Out location so I wanted to give them a good review. I'm really trying to cut back on fast food, fast food isn't usually quality and it adds up $$. However, I will always be an In N Out girly! If I am going to cheat and get fast food then the only place I usually want is in n out. It's always made to order, tastes delish, and service is 5 stars as far as a fast food spot goes. I love this location as it's convenient being located right off the freeway. I also like that they have a pretty massive parking lot so even when the lines get super long you usually aren't ending up on the main road which is a problem at a lot of locations. The inside is clean and spacious for when dining in but I will say 90% of the time I'm going through the drive thru. I probably don't need to give you the rundown on the menu but everything is good and I love that they have a simple menu. I also appreciate that the days I'm waiting a slightly healthier option I can get a lettuce wrapped burger or a flying Dutchmen (just patties and cheese). On a cheat day though my usual is a #1 with well done fries and a pink lemonade. Yum! Pro tip: I refuse to wait in the long lines for in n out. You won't see me do it! lol. I always come at opening or off hours on a weekday like 2 or 3pm and usually I can get almost right up to the speaker without waiting. It's worked for me time and time again, the best way to do it. Everyone that works here is super nice and helpful. I also appreciate that my order is NEVER wrong here, they always make it exactly as I order it and I'm never missing food when I drive off. They have such a good system here for a fast food spot you really can't beat it.

My love and bias will always be here. How do you know something is good? When you go back hundreds and most likely thousands of times for a satisfying meal. As a former employee, I still find myself to this day craving In-N-Out Burger. The commercials, nostalgia, merchandise and cult like following pervade you as a Southern CA resident. Successful food establishment formula: Number one: consistency Number two: customer service Number three: cleanliness In-N-Out hits a grand slam when it comes to these items. It doesn't matter if I am here or anywhere else INO may be; I know what I'm going to receive when I order it. Fresh, quality ingredients beautifully constructed you forget it's "fast food". Service is fast, friendly and over delivers. And finally, the dining room and bathrooms are always clean and stocked. INO 4 LIFE !

My favorite order: double double, extra toasted buns, whole grilled onions and chopper onions. Fries, light well done, animal-style.

I'm astonished this location didn't have a yelp page yet. I'll be the first to add, as my civic yelp duty! In terms of the burger and fries, it was the best thing I tasted all day on Friday! The double-double was cooked perfectly, with the perfect crunch of lettuce, tomatoes, and chopped raw onions, along with the satisfying whole grilled onion texture reminiscent of Diner-like burgers. You forget this is a fast-food place! You could easily tell the beef was not frozen as it emanated notes of grilled protein on a summer July 4th night in your backyard. The fries, which to be fair, are usually not as good at In-n-out. However, these fries were amazing when it is cooked "Light-Well" but also animal style. I could taste the cheese and animal style spread with every bite of the fries, smothered in tomato ketchup. I would like to talk about a positive experience here in addition to the burgers being so good. At 11:33p m PST on 11/08/24, Friday, I visited this establishment for my Double-Double (extra toast, whole grilled onions, chopped raw onions) and animal-style fries (lite-well) for a take-out order. Because my order was extra toast and light-well fries, it took about 15 minutes to cook longer -- I expected it and didn't mind. However, when my order was finally called, an employee named Gail joyfully greeted me and asked me excitedly, "How are you?!" as he was handing the food over. He was also busy but the fact that he did it with a smile on his face, brought innumerable joy to my face. I asked for extra spread and lap-mat as he already offered ketchup. As he brought the lap-mat over, he also bowed while giving it to me, which made me feel very honored. I really appreciate the extra effort and mile he did as it is exemplary of what In-N-Out should strive for in their employees... even in the dead of night at 11:33 pm. In terms of ambiance, the restaurant is clean as can be on a busy Friday night. Case in point, a student dropped his milkshake. He notified management. Not only did he get a new milkshake but the in n out associate first came out with a safety cone, broom and dustpan, then returned with a mop, then returned with a dry mop squeegee. It was very impressive that she did all 3 in an orderly fashion while maintaining safety. If that isn't a testament to cleanliness, I don't know what is. Additionally, the bathrooms here are always well stocked with hand soap with a clean sink and floor, despite the heavy traffic of just one restroom per gender. I would definitely come here again as the food tasted so fresh, especially on a late night!

BBQ Worth Fighting Over at Smokin Jay's BBQ & Coffee from Potheads Coffee…read more My wife and I recently stopped by Smokin Jay's BBQ and paired it with a visit to Potheads Coffee, and it turned into one of those meals you end up talking about long after you leave. From the first bite, it was clear this spot takes their BBQ seriously. Entrées: We started by ordering a brisket plate, which came with about 1/4 lb of brisket, roughly six solid pieces, along with macaroni salad and baked beans. Our original plan was to share, but that quickly changed after the first few bites. The brisket was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right with that perfect balance of smoke and juiciness. It didn't take long before we realized sharing wasn't going to cut it. So my wife went back up and ordered a brisket sando with fries, and it absolutely delivered. The sandwich came loaded with brisket, pickles, slaw, and sauce, all working together perfectly. The fries were a great side, crispy and a solid pairing with the sandwich. Sides: The macaroni salad and baked beans that came with the plate were both on point. The mac salad was creamy and complemented the richness of the brisket, while the baked beans added that sweet and savory depth you want with BBQ. Sandwich Details: The sando really stood out, especially with the addition of the slaw. My wife usually isn't a fan of coleslaw, but this one changed things a bit. It wasn't overpowering and added a nice crunch and balance to the sandwich, tying everything together without taking away from the brisket. Drinks and Service: Grabbing coffee from Potheads Coffee alongside the meal was the perfect move. What really stood out, though, was the service. Jay, the owner, was walking around checking in on customers and genuinely engaging with everyone. He even helped my wife decide on a coffee based on what she usually orders at Starbucks, which was a great personal touch. He later stopped by our table, chatted with us for a bit, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and personal. Ambience: The atmosphere strikes a great balance between laid back and lively. It has that casual, welcoming BBQ spot feel where you can relax, enjoy your food, and not feel rushed. Pairing it with Potheads Coffee adds to the experience, making it feel like more than just a meal but a spot you can hang out and enjoy. Overall: Smokin Jay's BBQ is hands down the best BBQ spot I've had in Ventura County so far. Between the quality brisket, well put together sides, standout sandwiches, and the personal touch from the owner, it's an easy recommendation. Pair it with Potheads Coffee, and you've got yourself a top tier Ventura food stop that's definitely worth coming back to.

I rarely eat any "fast food" like McDonalds, Jack In the Box, etc. and consider Five Guys to be a step above those places based on the quality of the food and how everything is cooked to order. I also don't feel sick to my stomach after eating there. I love the topping options like grilled mushrooms that Five Guys offers and the ingredients always taste super fresh to me. The fries with the skin on and malt vinegar are addicting and IMO far superior to In N Out. The prices have definitely gone up a lot over the years...the little cheeseburger and little fries was around $17, which does feel a bit steep, but that's how things go right now. The regular cheeseburger was only $2 more but I didn't want the calories of that, which are over 1000 by the time you add toppings and the little cheeseburger is always perfectly filling for me. When crowded, parking can be a bit difficult but I have always managed to find a spot. This location itself was very clean and the staff were all friendly.
