My son Christopher and I stopped by simply to pick up a job application, and even though we didn't purchase any food, Robert greeted us warmly, shook our hands, and treated us with genuine respect. My wife and I are frequent customers, we have six children and two grandchildren, so when we go out to eat, we spend a lot of time and money as a family. This location is one we visit often because it offers great food at a reasonable price. Even more important, it's reassuring to know we're supporting a business with strong leadership. I never leave a review cause it's in and out it's consistent but what's also consistent about this location is something is always wrong with our order. This time in the must disturbing way! My poor 3 year old found hair in our food as she was eating she started to spit up. I saw something black thinking it was a piece of string then as I started to eat more of the animal fires with her I was disgusted to find multiple pieces of hair stuck under the cheese and in the food. If you're hungry and want a burger on & Out is a quick fill for that need. The burgers were served hot & the fries were fresh and crispy lightly salted. Good thing our son was because he helped order from the secret menu with the animal style sauce. Made it better than just a plain old burger! Lots of people working here and it's an extremely busy time. This location does have outside seating available. We definitely enjoyed our burgers! The management has to be some of worst. They will hire you then not get back to you, not schedule you...you have to keep going in to follow up. It's the oddest thing. The last couple times I've been in my orders have been wrong. We went yesterday I ordered my burger with both grilled and raw onions and one with just raw onions. It was repeated multiple times and when we got our burgers we got one with raw onions and one without onions completely. The fries were almost burnt and very salty. I still can't fathom the fascination California has with In N Out Burger.... it's a good burger, but not worth the hype. I'm more than happy to stop at the California burger joint anytime we are in California. On this trip I noticed how popular a hangout spot it can be on a Friday or Saturday night. It is a statewide phenomena. We got there and the parking lot and drive thru are packed. But the team is working hard to get burgers and fries out quickly and with a smile. Shout out to Giancarlos for keeping the floor clean and the tables turned over quickly. The gang got our order out quickly and we were in and out. The fries, advertised as fresh cut, fresh diced, fresh fried tasted frozen. I'm not a fan of the sunflower oil cooked fries. One thing I tried on the way out was their real ice cream shakes. Jacob took my order, gave me the box for the fries, and then got me my strawberry shake out. The shake tasted great, but it took work enjoy it. It was too thick for the straw. Maybe hand out a spoon with the shake instead? All in all, the visit to In N Our was fair. Service was great. The place was clean and kept up regularly. But the taste of the food did not impress me for anymore than 3-stars. I like In N Out fine, amd I'll leave it there. I went in and order to go as I could not use the drive thru. I was towing. I was order #32, moved to the side and waited. Then I waited some more. I heard 29 called out so I figured , almost there. Then they skipped 32 and they started calling 34 and 35. I went to ask and I was told they were just waiting on fries. I had to wait a few more minutes. Finally got it and left! As I drove away I checked and my fries were missing. After all that waiting my order was not right. Went back to get my fries, was not easy turning back towing a trailer. This In-N-Out Burger is located in Ventura. This is my second time visiting this location but I am here in town for work pretty often I stay right across the street so I have seen this in and out probably the most out of any location. A couple of years ago they bought one of the adjoining lots and turned to a parking lot which helped the flow of traffic. There's also a small section of the lot where you can park if you're planning on dining in but it looked like a lot of folks end up getting the food to go from the drive-through and then parking there to eat. Which kind of makes sense because the inside of the store is kind of smaller than most locations. You can't go wrong with any of the food items here. Just depends on what kind of customizations you're looking for. I tend to go either with a cheeseburger or a double double animal style with chopped chilies. They're very efficient here and the food is always on point. The fries are controversial for some people but they are what they are and they're not too bad. They're pretty much always busy but the line moves fairly efficiently and quickly for how busy it looks. read more
