We explained that due to the age of our home we are quite literally living in an antique. That said, we wanted to select plumbing fixtures that blend modern convenience and functionality with a look that still pays homage to the past.......no small feat. Sarah was extremely accommodating as we dragged her from one end of the store to the other, then back to her computer questioning and discussing every different color and finish option available. She offered her input on the pros and cons of every fixture type to help us make very informed decisions. We arrived at the store about 45 minutes before closing (on a Saturday) and Sarah stayed with us almost a full hour after closing to type up the quote knowing that we were not quite ready to commit. We went back the following Saturday and worked with Ida who was also extremely accommodating in helping us add to and finalize our order........or so we thought. We ended up going back again on Sunday and Sarah helped us decide on the last few accessories. Please Note: The multiple trips to the store was the result of me and my wife being a little indecisive and the insane need of my wife for every item needing to match exactly in color and shape right down to the towel hooks and toilet paper roll holder. Keep in mind that we finished ordering everything on Sunday afternoon and the entire order was delivered Monday morning at 8:20am. Even the delivery driver was most pleasant and helpful. Sarah called today to follow up and make sure everything arrived as scheduled. I say all this to let other customers know that I typically don't write reviews because most purchases these days are so transactional, lacking true customer service and personal interest in making sure that the customer has the best experience possible. Sarah and Ida deserve to be recognized for outstanding customer service and their care / attention to detail in helping us achieve the look we had hoped for. He said they were discontinued and I should try to buy them online at eBay or other sites that sell discontinued tiles - which is what I did. He also gave me a couple pieces of an edging tile gratis that he had in stock that should work for our other bathroom. More than five stars!…read more Succinctly, we met with three or four companies to get an estimate all of whom were pleasant but, somehow, did not seem as though they were listening to what we wanted. It was different with Ammar of Kitchen Cabinet Express, Inc. After a brief introduction and a short discussion of our intentions, he got right to the point, walking with my wife, measuring and making notes and asking questions. What resulted was a reasonable estimate for the work to be done and a plan and drawings that exactly reflected our wishes. The deadline for completion was originally set for the middle of March 2026 but was completed two weeks early. Members of Ammar's team and contractors were professional, conscientious, and hard working. They showed up on time, accomplished what was scheduled for each day. As work progressed, we desired some minor changes which Ammar and his team were very flexible and responsive in accomplishing professionally and quickly. At every point - daily work and especially at the conclusion - the site was cleaned up immaculately and all detritus was hauled away instantly. Also, a great deal of care was taken to mask, cover, and protect the house, furniture, and existing fixtures from the dust and soiling that was occasioned by the remodeling work! This review is being written a month after completion as we wanted to take our time to let the "newness" wear off and appraise the overall experience. After this time for evaluation, we find the craftsmanship flawless, the cabinets and showers and baths installed beautifully and -- overall -- the incorporation into our existing home has greatly upgraded the whole affair. A long overdue review for CustomBuilt-Ins…read more We can't thank Doug and Eric enough for everything they did for us. We had a water leak in our kitchen Memorial Day of 2025. Repipe complete, then the builder came in. The project was to replace the island, lower cabinets of one wall, and repaint the kitchen. They took our check and started. Then virtually no progress in June, July, August, September, and October. I eventually drove to their shop to get my cabinets as they were unable to return them. We reached out to Doug at the beginning of November and he said they could help us out. They custom built and installed our island. They rebuilt our custom kitchen cabinets, and finished the kitchen painting. We were asking them to come in and finish a project that they had no history or familiarity with what we wanted, right before Thanksgiving. Doug and Eric spent time talking and working with us so we were all on the same page. Schedules made, notification messages of arrivals, and we always had a clear understanding of what will be done each day. Doug was friendly, thorough in explaining everything, responsive and accommodating to requests and problem issues during the entire process. The foreman, Erik, is a master craftsman carpenter. He is detail-oriented and skilled at what he does. We also had another closet that just needed to be re-balanced, and Erik fixed that like it was a piece of cake. He went above and beyond to make sure all of the drawers were straightened and drawer pulls were tightened in that closet as well. The entire team knew exactly what we wanted and how to execute the project from beginning to end. We are hoping to do more projects with them in the future!
