I walked away from a 2013 Chevy Silverado at Imperial Highline due to what I believe were unethical and deceptive business practices. The truck was listed with leather seats -- it had cloth. This false claim inflated its Edmunds "installed upgrades" value by nearly $3,000. More critically, the truck was flagged for structural damage at auction, a serious designation that was never disclosed on the dealership's own website. This omission matters -- most buyers would not know to run a third-party report unless they already suspected something was wrong. On inspection, I found clear mechanical problems: the truck pulled hard to the right, the A/C blew hot on the driver side, one rear window was stuck shut, and the suspension sagged. Yet the dealer still asked $13,995, offering just $500 off. Edmunds places this truck's rough-condition value at $10,351. I made a fair offer of $9,500 pending frame inspection, and would've gone up to $11,000 if the frame was sound. Despite courteous communication from their salesman, it was clear that management was avoiding accountability. The final response I received was unsigned, and at no point did they acknowledge the structural branding, misrepresentation, or failure to disclose critical flaws. These tactics feel predatory -- relying on the next uninformed buyer who won't ask questions. I gave them a final opportunity to respond meaningfully and correct the record. I called a week ahead and spoke with the dealer about the 2021 Audi A3 they have listed. I asked if the car had any issues, they denied any issues at all. I asked about the accident on the carfax and they informed me it was prior to their owner ship and they were not aware of any damage and assumed it was fixed properly. I asked about the dealer fees when purchasing a vehicle through them and was quoted $695 by Jay. I setup an appointment to come look at the car, took off work as did my fiance and we drove 3 hours to look at the car. Upon arriving we were greeted and brought inside while the vehicle was being washed. I asked about a dealer fee again and was quoted $899 by Jay again. 1st red flag I was not happy about. Upon walking outside to view the vehicle I immediately noticed the car had been in a front end accident. The lower splitter of the bumper was cracked all the way across. Both sides of the front bumper were scruffed and had silver paint transfer. The passenger side fender was pushed in under the headlight and hood. The passenger side hood latch was removed and sitting in the glove box. The passenger side fender trim could not even click into the body because of how badly the fender was bent. The fender had fresh touch up paint leading me to beleive the damage was noticed and they were hoping a buyer would not notice. While test driving the car it was throwing error codes for the front radar, which was inoperable after the accident. We drove back to the dealer and Jay asked how I liked it. I was honest with him and told him I was very unhappy with the car, that none of the damage was disclosed. He asked if I was interested in purchasing, to which I replied asking how firm the price is. He said "our listed price is a fair deal". The vehicle is listed for a price for one in good condition, not with accident damage. In a quick assessment by myself it needs atleast 4K worth of work, 2K if I performed it by my self. My fiance and I walked on the car, drove halfway back home to which we found a similarly speced 2021 Q3 with less miles for 1K less, with no accidents and a very good maintenance history. Long story short: they are scammers who buy vehicles at auction and try to repair them on the absolute cheapest to sell for profit. After walking their lot and looking at other vehicles, it was very apparent to myself. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Edit: To respond to the dealer's response on google reviews. I offered 4K under asking cost to cover the cost of the repairs, hence why I stated it needed 4K of repairs. I never once spoke to one of your mechanics. When I was looking at the damage on the vehicle with Jay he audibly said "fuck" under his breath hoping I would not notice the damage on the vehicle. I am tempted to drive the 3 hours back to the dealer just to take photos of the damage to prove my point. I did not start any argument, there was no reason to start an argument out of frustration. The fact you are claiming this is hysterical. I even brought my own Audi specific VAG-Comm code reader to read the codes associated with the front radar system. So if your mechanics are unable to read this code they are not mechanics nor did the car have 3 separate inspections as you claim. if it did, they certainly are not qualified inspectors and need to be fired. The dealer fee is not listed anywhere on your website, I have checked prior to viewing the car, so if its listed now that was updated after the fact. The vehicle body is not clean and is not mechanically or electrically sound as you claim. I was not attempting to "pull one over" on you, I am just leaving a review to warn others about the quality of cars you offer. There is a reason why 2 key frasses for quick search through your reviews are "buyer beware" and "scam artist". The test drives went fine. Found out a couple months later that the car had numerous undisclosed problems including an oil leak and a battery drain issue that have cost me a couple thousand dollars already. I purchased an extended warranty, but SHOCKINGLY, the issues were not covered. In addition, I suspect the guys at Imperial knew about the battery drain issue, as there was a brand new battery (that was too small haha) installed in the car a couple of days before I purchased, likely to ensure that it would start for test drives - not shady at all, right? "EDIT: Battery drain issue most certainly existed when the vehicle was purchased, and they definitely knew about it but did not disclose - hence the brand new battery in the car when it was purchased. They are located in VA and I live in MD. Prior to closing the sale I mentioned to Salim "what if I have problems with my Maryland inspection?" He said he would work with me. That was first lie of many. Upon inspection it was discovered that the front passenger rim was cracked in four places. The back tires needed rotars and breaks. It was raining at the time that I purchased car so I didn't discover the chip in the windshield until later. He did not deliver on any of the promises he made when we started the transaction. For instance he assured me a full tank of gas but the tank was only half full and he refused to fill it. The car I purchased only had one key he lied and told me a second key would cost $300-$400 and I could use his company discount at the dealership. Another lie, the key actually cost $1000. These guys should not be in business. If you do decide to deal with them make sure you read ALL and I mean ALL of the contract in it's entirety before you sign it! read more

Extremely disappointed. In May 2022, I purchased a vehicle from Imperial. The deal included a written agreement to repair the paint where letters had been scratched into the front hood. The dealership further advised that their records indicated a second key, with FOB, that was locked in an administrator's office and would be mailed to me with my license plates. I have repeatedly called and texted the dealership to facilitate their obligations, but they have responded with delays and excuses. Imperial Highline has not upheld the agreement to repair the paint damage or provide the second key. It should be noted that at the time of purchase, the dealership claimed to have a paint repair specialist at another location that would repair the damage. Over the course of time, this devolved into an offer to provide me with matching paint to repair the damage myself. Furthermore, the dealership has stated that their records indicate the vehicle had two keys, but they could not locate the second set. The dealership repeatedly stated that it could be located at another dealer location, attempting to find it, but no key has been provided. read more

BUYER BEWARE: One of the WORST car buying experiences we've experienced. From TERRIBLE customer service, to MECHANICAL ISSUES with the car, this place "wins" at being BAD. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this scummy dealership. I purchase vehicles fairly often, as does my father. We are quite familiar with many car dealers in this area. Never has an experience been this bad to the point where I'd consider leaving a review. Check out my other reviews, I try not to leave negative reviews, especially not on small businesses, but I had to make an exception this time. My father purchased a 2015 Camry from them recently. We were looking for a specific color and found one at this location. Worked out the price and purchased it. This is where their "customer service" stopped. After giving them your money, do not expect any human decency from these scammers. Mechanical issues on DAY 1 of obtaining the vehicle: The alignment was terribly off. Wonder why they couldn't take care of this before selling vehicle, costs like $90, but whatever; that ones on us cause we knew of it during the test drive. The main issue was the battery was bad. Ended up being stranded for several hours and having to jump start the car the DAY we obtained the vehicle. There was battery acid dry leaking all over the terminals ; there's no way these folks didnt know the battery needed replacement. Contacted the dealership hoping they'd understand and make this right, but no dice. They said to come in and speak with someone. We go in, they tell us the guys not here, come back tomorrow. Go tomorrow, and same response. Just the stereotypical used car dealership wheelin and dealin BS. Bought a C6 Corvette.  Pretty bad experience.  Nice enough guys, but definitely shady.  Kept telling us someone from out of state was coming to buy the car-urgent to buy before they showed up.  Then sold us a $3000 warranty of which none of the following problems were covered. At a quick glance, the car looked very nice.  But the car had TONS of problems-I had repair at my expense-well over $5000 in repairs: - replaced clutch - replaced worn rotors - replaced replaced worn ceramic brake pads - fix power steering pressure hose leak - fixed cigarette lighter - needed alignment - fixed cup holder cover - replaced rear view mirror - replaced reverse inhibit solenoid - water leak on passenger and driver's side - replaced leaking radiator - Error Code P0036, Error Code P0054, and Error Code P0141 - O2 Sensors - replaced broken sun visors ($200 each side) - replaced broken side mirrors Oh and one more thing-it reeked of smoke after a week (maybe they sprayed before we bought it?) and still does today. Stay far away from this scam of a dealership. Fahim(salesman) is a bully, and so clearly misogynistic. He treated me terribly from the moment I walked in the door. When I arrived to look at a car, the three salesmen on the floor just looked over, did not say anything, did not greet me, then when I said I am here to look at a specific car, Fahim waved me off and said yeah yeah I'll bring it around. Terrible start. I want to be clear, that my issue is with the customer service, the way I was spoken to, and Fahim specifically. I bought a Tesla one week after from Carbiz Baltimore(INCREDIBLE customer service and made the process so easy! Highly recommend! Javier specifically is kind and so good at what he does!), proof that I got the car I wanted to this review is not even about the way that Fahim sold the car out from under me. Fahim is disrespectful in the way he speaks, talked to me like I was stupid in every conversation, and the last phone conversation we had where I was asking to speak to the finance department, he was so pushy that I ask him. He continually spoke over me, interrupted me, and when I asked to speak to the manager because I didn't appreciate how rude he was to me, he said "I am the manager". Then proceeded to say how it is a family owned business so there was no one else for me to speak with. He kept speaking over me and talking down to me, and after I hung up, sent text messages that continued to be rude and berating. (See attached pictures) I did not even want to waste my time writing this review or giving such a frustrating situation more of my time, but I truly feel it is important that people know how awful Fahim treats people and how this car dealership is a scam. This is also clear from other reviews I have read. I only wish I looked at these reviews before working with them. So thankful I did get the car I love, from Carbiz, who truly deserve my business, unlike Imperial Highline. Fahim was awful, I cannot say that enough. Another one who fell for this scammers! Guilty as charged. Arougn three weeks ago bought a car there that they said was fine (no mechanical issues whatsoever) just to find out the hard way, it was riddled with mechanical issues, here are some to mention a few: 1. Very damaged transmission to the point tech I saw, told me the only option was to replace entire transmission since two solenoids replaced did not work at all. (car started to slip 3 gear the following day after I purchased it). 2. Bad gas pump. (car would not start sometimes and had to use jump starter). 3. Cracked/broken engine rear mount. 4. Huge leak from engine which was already affecting alternator and would also be a problem very soon if not fixed. 5. Wiring problem DLC 6. Bad/weak battery. 7. Almost forget, somehow the car did not have the safety inspection sticker on windshield (I do know for a fact it had been inspected and passed the safety inspection based on records I retrieved from a couple of places), although I do not know how in hell it passed both inspections with all these problems abovementioned. Make sure to avoid this place. Not worth of anybody's time and money. Yusuf seems to be a very nice guys; but at this point, I do not know if he is also part of these scammers. I can't speak for the whole dealership but I can speak for Yosuf! He was great! We originally were dealing with someone else but once he took over it was fast and easy! I work a ton of hours so he was able to do most things through text. My girlfriend went there and checked out the car on Wednesday. I submitted the application Wednesday night. We exchanged some more info on Thursday during the day. My girlfriend showed up Thursday night to check out numbers and he made it all work out! I showed up Thursday later after work and I was out of there in 20 minutes! One of the best experiences we've had! Bought a car at full ask, it was apparently Virginia inspected, the second I get home I realized the wheel was squealing. I called and they said we'll see what we can do, get it inspected. I get the car inspected and it has two bad rotors and a brake pad, costs me $900. I send the passed inspection as well as a receipt for the work done (to and apparently VA passed inspection car) and I have heard crickets in response. I'm not one to complain or make waves but if you have another choice out there I would recommend going with that one. read more

Bought a 2017 WRX 29 days ago. One star rating for these reasons: 1) Registration took 28 days to get to me. 2) Was sold a car with a valid inspection sticker that has no catalytic converter 3) Though polite, as of this writing I have no determination on what they plan on doing about setting it right and may have to return the car or take them to court. 4) The cat is causing the check engine light to come on shutting down Cruise Control, ABS, Hill Assist, Traction Control and one other I'm forgetting. 5) They don't return phone calls 6) The lead salesman (the one who has been ghosting me) has been polite but they generally keep trying to blame others and refuse to accept responsibility for illegally selling me a car. Besides the cat and ensuing computer issues, the car is nice and purchasing was easy, which probably should have been a clue. I'd avoid this place. The manager (Fahim Zamani or His Brother i am not sure ) was the most rude and unprofessional dealer I have ever had experience working with. This dealership is a complete joke. I purchased a vehicle that needed a Maryland inspection. The vehicle failed and the dealership did nothing to fix the issue. I called and emailed and only received a call back when they realized they hadn't received the check from the bank. I let them know that the car failed and I wanted to know how we could fix it. The salesman only cared about the check. I told them that me not the bank we're giving them a check until the vehicle passes the inspection. The response was give the car back. So that shows that they had no intention on fixing the car. The bank even said not to give them the check. Don't waste your time with this place!!!! read more

Absolute scam!! Do not purchase from this dealership. I signed a contract for a Mercedes Sprinter passenger van for a monthly payment of $485. When I received my first bill from the bank, the monthly payment was $590. The bank said this was the amount approved and sent by the dealership. When I contacted High Line they said they made a mistake in the paperwork and that is the payment I am now stuck with. I had a feeling from the beginning this place was shady, and now I have to hire lawyers to dispute this. Take your business elsewhere. This place is a scam!! read more

The salesmen seem nice at first. But I would be careful about buying a car here. They say their cars have passed a Va state inspection. But from what I noticed, some of their cars have less than 2/32s of tread left on the tires. This alone should be a huge safety issue. You can tell if there is enough tread by looking at the tread wear indicators on tires, which looks like a horizontal bar going across the width of the tires inside the grooves. If the tire tread reaches this bar, it means the tread is done for. Double check your tires before completing a sale here. I wouldn't rely on their safety inspection which was probably done in house. Also if you are considering trading in your car, consider doing it somewhere else. They will low ball your cars value while trying to sell their car for a exorbitant price. Basically what your value is, subtract $15-20k and that is going to be what you can expect from them. Consider checking the car fax before going, there are multiple cars on lot with long histories of having accidents on them. The one car I looked at had noticeable front bumper damage inside the wheel well and multiple accidents reported. I can't say this is true for all the cars or for every experience, just be careful! read more

I'll start with something positive...I successfully shopped for and purchased my first luxury car all on my own at the age of 23! Let's begin! I had been researching my dream car for several months (BMW 328xi Coupe) and on a whim decided I wanted to jump and purchase the car. I had been working with a few dealers and found a car (2013 BMW 328xi Coupe) at NOVA Auto/Imperial Highline via the Cargurus site. On my birthday, I went to test drive the car in the rain and all seemed fine but I still wanted to explore my options and figure out financing through my own credit union. While I was there, Fahim was closing a purchase with another client and I was practically ignored until I flagged down Bobby. I was a bit irritated, yet I understood that Fahim was working with someone already, but some acknowledgement would've been nice. I came back that same week and test drove the car again, and started talking numbers with Bobby. Although I wanted to go with my own financing, I allowed them to pull my credit, as well as his contact at another credit union, to show that I was serious. My credit came back okay and they gave me an offer. At this point, I went to my credit union to work out a deal with them, but I ended up going with Bobby's contact; because although my union gave me a better rate, it was going to be a headache trying to exchange paperwork back and forth and I had decided to trade in my current car at the last minute. So to avoid craziness,I agreed to move forward with their financing. Now, here is where the drama starts. Before returning to Bobby telling him I wanted to move forward, he went onto their dealership's site and Cargurus and increased the price of the vehicle by $500. When I came in, "he was not available", so Fahim did all of my paperwork etc. He lowered the price to the ORIGINAL price that I saw when we began the process. When I received my car, it was "detailed", yet it was all dusty and barely wiped down inside. Like seriously? I just dropped thousands of dollars on a new toy and you can't even clean it properly? He told me to drive it to the next building to be cleaned AGAIN. Now, after buying my car "as-is", which I'm aware is a thing in Virginia, I told Fahim that the car (BMWs tell you when/what servicing the car needs via the dashboard) and MY EYES are clearly showing me that the rear brakes/rotors are rusted. Fahim said that they could reset it blah blah. They tried to "reset" or whatever but still, it said the same thing. I brought it to Bobby's attention, he said oh well it should be fine, any issues bring it back and we'll give you a low rate for the work. I said OK. Now, I'm a Maryland resident, and although they cannot guarantee that my car will pass in MD, something like brakes is pretty universal. And, they "passed" it with a new VA sticker after it was sold to me. I went as far as contacting the VA state troopers to ensure that it was inspected correctly. Wouldn't you know that it BARELY passed the legal limit for wear on brakes/rotors (brakes were at 3/32, passing is 2/32) but the rust was definitely a violation? Instead of filing an investigation (and prolonging my car's registration in MD), I lit into Fahim and they agreed to fix the brakes free of charge. They serviced the brakes and I think all is well UNTIL my car fails again! Apparently, there were grooves in the left rear rotor. So, instead of fighting Bobby and Fahim again, I simply went to the BMW dealership and had them figure out what was wrong. Can you believe the idiots at NOVA/Imperial put my brake pad on backwards?! That caused the grooves in the rotor because the metal part of the pad was rubbing against the rotor. I bit the bullet and paid to get it corrected at the BMW dealership. I'm not a mechanic and I know that it's pretty hard to screw that up. One side is metal and the pad is on the other side, like for real? I don't know if they thought that because they were doing it for "free" that they should have done a careless job but I was livid. If they were going to do a trash job, I would've preferred to pay the money to have it done properly at the BMW dealership, like I had to do anyway! Not only could that have caused major damage to my new car if the inspector didn't catch it, but they put my life in jeopardy, which is far more important than a freaking car. Had my brakes locked up because of the metal on metal, my car would NOT have stopped and I could've injured myself and/or others. Long story short, do I love my car? YES. I am very happy with my purchase outside of all the drama and I look forward to loving it for many years. Would I ever buy a car from them again? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I am a sports car admirer, and saw an incredible line up of very high end cars on their lot as my girl friend and I were house hunting. Fast forward a few months to when I am looking for a Subaru WRX. I was shopping on Carfax, and one of the better deals I saw was on their listing. Went in, spoke to Salim, struck a deal, and came away with a pretty good deal on a really nice car. Never ever dealing with them again. You should definitely think twice before getting your car here. At first, the are very nice when you go to test drive and in the process of purchasing the car. If you have questions or any problem with the car they look for any excuse not to help you or pretend that nothing is wrong plus you have to pay for any repair that has to be done to the car. After 5 days of purchasing the car, I heard a cracking noise in the back of the car when parking in reverse and turning the steering wheel all the way. I took it back and wanted to return it but they don't have a return policy. They took it for a ride but didn't hear anything; although you were able to hear it. After talking to them back and forth I had to take the car back because nothing was done and they were very rude and unprofessional. Apparently, they were doing me a favor by checking the car, as they said. I went in roughly two weeks ago to purchase a truck. I'll be going on my third week and all of a sudden my engine went out on the highway. I had no warning signs of any issues. The car just suddenly broke down. Since I I just bought the car two weeks ago I figured I might as well take it back there to take a look at it. Come to find out there was no car oil in my Ford F150. The oil light never came on to warn me about any type of low liquid levels. This means they sold me the car WITHOUT ENGINE OIL. So now they want me to pay for a new motor for something their liable about. It's already a pandemic going on and they want to scam people during this time?!? First time buying a car from a dealership ever, because of the horrible stories ive heard from other people's experiences and this car dealership just prove them right. The guy who actually helped me Admad was pretty cool tho... First off I understand these cars are used but as a dealership please make sure the little things are working before you actually sell the car for the amount you guys are selling these cars at. I purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand cherokee Overland. As soon as I drove the car off on my way home I discovered the driverside and rear Ac was not working Strike 1 in addition there was an issue with the steering wheel shaking once the car is over 60 mph Strike 2. I purchased a extend warranty but it did not cover any of those issue. So i ended up fixing the issues myself. Long behold the AC driver side door blend actuator was completely missing i was quoted $400 to replace. Yeah ok. $15 and 30 mins later issue fix. Steering issue cause because of front tires needed to be balanced. Got them balance steering wheel still shakes. Still not done. Purchased the car 5/23/2021 took the car through state inspection on 6/5/2021 thank God it passed. Temporary tags expires on 6/22/2021 I'm waiting on my hard tags to show up after calling 4 times to get an updated on when im going to receive my hard tags. I was told the tags would be to me in 2 days. Which would've been 6/18/2021 no tags Strike 3. Called again this morning and I was told the tags would be to me again on Friday. 6/25/2021. Ok cool. Will never purchase another car from this dealership. Purchased a Maserati sports car For $50,000. Drove it 6 hours to my home. There was plastic sheeting on the floor when I removed I realized there was no floor mats. I contacted the dealer they said they have the floor mats that I would have to drive 6 hours to come pick them up because they would not ship them to me. When I went to get my local New York inspection it failed due to brake rotors and pads. Costing thousands of dollars just to get it inspected. A week into owning the car it started to smell like burning oil. I brought the car to Maserati They told me that the Valve cover gasket were leaking and dripping on to the exhaust system. I contacted the dealer because they told me I would have a 30 day warrantee on the motor and transmission. I told them I had a oil leak. He amediately responded there is nothing they can do because gaskets are not part of the Motor And I thought how does he know it is a gasket. I notice some discolouration in the from bumper And had Maserati take a look They said that the car had been in some kind of front end collision and the nose had been Repainted. Even though the car had a clean car fax. So now I have a expensive sports car that is 2 tone no floor mats and smells like burning oil pretty embarrassing. I went in bought a 2012 Audi and got the car as is, STUPID me. The brake pads were put on wrong the rotors were thin as hin teeth. Welp the car did not pass MD inspection. I spent $2000 on getting all these repairs done and getting the Brake pad sensor fixed because that light came on as well and I have not paid my first car payment yet. PAT and the crew got me. I had been shopping for a used Volvo XC 90 for a few weeks and looked at several in the Manassas area (wow there are a ton of us d car dealers in the areas). After walking away from a car at another dealership I found the right car at Imperial Highline. I dealt with Fahim and Peter and could not be happier with the experience. I asked for certain items to be addressed on the car (it's a "used" car after all) and they took care of everyone. I have purchased and sold a lot of cars and these guys are easy to deal with, have fair pricing, and an incredible inventory. Seriously, if I could have afforded the Lambo that would have been my first choice but I'm very pleased with my Volvo XC90. Most people leave reviews when they are unhappy with a business, not many will take the time to leave a positive one. All I car say is read the other reviews with a grain of salt. Very disappointed in this dealership. BE CAREFUL with these guys. I recently came in to purchase a van in the Manassas lot. Salesman was fine. Van was decent except there was an issue with the back door not opening. (I wouldn't put a deposit on any vehicle that has such an issue.) Salesman texted me throughout the week assuring me the door would be fixed and was hoping I could come back in. 6 days later, he told me the van was still there and I told him that I would be happy to buy it, provided the door is completely fixed, and that he could match another local dealers price of an almost identical van with the same mileage. He said he would talk to his sales manager and would call me right back. He didn't call back. I called him the next day and left a voicemail. He didn't return my call. The day after, I see on Carfax.com that the van was sold. He finally texted me saying ... "Good morning. The owner sold the vehicle to one of his relative. After receiving offer from you, I asked them and that is when they told me that car is being sold to someone else for the asking price from our vienna location. I do apologize." Really?? I can't say enough about our great experience at Impreial Highline. Fahim made it easy! The car was way underpriced based on the entire US for this Porsche / mileage! Fahim gave us a $500 Easter discount and a gas card to fill up the car. He let us take the car home (we forgot a check) and was great about following up weeks before and after the sale. I bought a car (Tesla) from this dealership. Contract signed and still have copies of all the paper work. Took it home and found out a few things were not working. Brought it back and they said they were going to take care of all the issues. Well...they couldn't and had to take it to Tesla. Tesla indeed fixed it but ended up charging them for the fix. I knew something was wrong when I didn't hear from them so I called Tesla to verify it was fixed. Tesla indeed had fixed it. When I call the dealership (High-line Imperial) they told me that they returned the car and I could not have it anymore. The gave me the option to buy another car or give me my money back. I asked him, how can you sell me a car then take it away? It is ridiculous. I could sue, still debating, What they did was just wrong. What I thought was a great experience turned out to be horrible.
