Their employees will illegally pose as independent sellers on Craigslist to sell cars with salvage and rebuilt titles, and then play dumb when the car fails inspection. They lied about the car they sold me, running great with no issues, only to find out it had various engine and transmission issues that has cost me thousands in repairs/towing fees so far. And no, there is no misunderstanding. Even as im writing this, I see that the same Dream Auto employee has placed another craiglist ad, posing as an independent seller. And before you say that this review is fake, I have screenshots of the text messages, and screenshots of the deceitful craiglist ads. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! The Dream Auto Group dealership preyed on my 20 year old nephew and convinced him to purchase a car that is beyond repair. The salesmen are predatory and sold him a car with salvaged engine components. The entire engine and coolant system is rusted and rotted through and through. After attempting to repair the car, we discovered that the engine is not the original engine. Upon our discovery, we attempted to return the car to which the manager consistently and adamantly declined. This company buys vehicles from the auction and does not fix them before they sell them. This was admitted to me by the manager himself. They did not inform my nephew of the many issues and salvaged parts prior to his purchase. The repair shops will not touch the car. We pleaded with the manager to take the car back and he responded by saying "buddy, not in a million years". The salespeople are totally unprofessional and blocked my nephew's calls as he tried over and over again to resolve the matter. We are currently working through litigation to sue the company. We also reported the company to the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, DMV and the Attorney General so they can never take advantage of another customer again. Do yourself a favor, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your purchase!! read more

Purchased a 2005 Nissan Frontier from these gentlemen on February 9th. Everything went well on the test drive and the truck seemed like it was in good shape. It had some obvious things wrong with it due to the age of the vehicle and we expected that...no issues! They sold us a crappy warranty with the truck but I didn't know it was crap until we needed to use it! On the way home from buying the vehicle it did good until about 3/4 the way home. The check engine light came on and then I noticed a pronounced misfire (bad vibration) in the engine followed by an even worse vibration that was seen at 60mph. The following week I took it to my shop to have it looked at. To make a long story short I was looking at $5,700 in repairs for a damaged transmission from a leaking radiator. In 2005 Nissan had the transmission coolant lines running to the vehicles radiator (crappy design). These costs were almost what I paid for the truck. I immediately contacted this warranty company who refused to pay anything!! This wasn't a problem that appeared after 6 months after purchasing the truck but in the same day I bought it! Was there a little fault in my part? Yes, but I have a pretty good feeling they knew about this because their phone lines went quite after trying to resolve the issue. I ended up selling the truck and lost quite a bit of money! If you buy from these guys make sure you take it on a long test drive and also have a mechanic look at it before signing on the dotted line! read more

Had a great car buying experience. Took a car (2011 hybrid) on a long test drive and then Mansour let my mobile mechanic (Auto Analyst) come check out the car. Mechanic said the car looked great. Paid a price that was a great deal according to CarGurus. The dealer processing fee was about $1000 but still a great deal overall. Highly recommend. read more

1st off Mr Mansour Wassel Owner of Dream Auto Group in Dumfries, Va did not tell me the car was not operable. Mr Mansour Wassel described the car as you can get in it and drive to California. But as you see with the top being broken you can not drive the car up the street or at all. Mr Mansour offered me a cheaper price if I was to keep the car but the cost to repair the top was 12000,00 and it could take months because the parts are in back order. Also they informed me that it would be cheaper for the dealership to fix the top before selling the car.. Mr Mansour Wassell had over 100 photos of the car on the website and not one showed the top being broken and separated from the car. I was called by transport and inform about the car I immediately contacted Mr Mansour Wassel and he said have them bring the car back I never took possession of the car it was returned to Mr Mansour Wassell owner of Dream Auto Group in Dumfries, VA by transport Mr Mansour Wassell refused to except the car back from transport so they had it impounded. Mr Mansour Wassel owner of Dream Auto Group contacted me and asked me to go get the car out of impound and Mr Mansour Wassell owner of Dream Auto Group in Dumfries, VA had his transport pick the car up from me. Mr Mansour Wassell, owner of Dream Auto Group in Dumfries, VA, assured me he was going to give me back my money for the car and the money for the impound call, saying he was at the bank making the deposit that I never received. The next day Im calling him stating I never received the deposit and Mr Mansour Wassell of Dream Auto Group in Dumfries, Va stated I needed to come to his office to verify my identity. This has been going on since Feb 16,2023. I drove 3.5 hours to Mr Mansour Wassell Owner of Dream Auto Group in Dumfries, VA once I arrived Mr Mansour Wassell stated his wifes mother was ill and he wouldn't be in the next couple weeks. I had to go and finance a car because I needed a car at the time. I do not want the car he has. I only want my money back for the car and the impound. Mr Mansour Wassell owes me 12000,00 and to this date I have never recived anything from Mr Mansour Wassell owner of Dream Auto Group in Dumfries, Va about the car or money need help suing the company 3479212631 read more

I used to live in Woodbridge Virginia and now I live in Los Angeles buying a truck in California costs a lot money so i reached out to Dream Auto Group in Virginia and I had the opportunity to work with Mansor . With the pandemic, I wanted to have a deal in place before finalizing the paperwork. As a result, I primarily communicated with Mansor via e-mail and text. He was very understanding. We went back and forth for some time and I'm confident he worked a really solid deal for me. No other dealerships came close and i understood i had to cover the shipping cost. Once a deal was in place, the car was on the way to Cali Mansor was very patient and help facilitated the process. With the pandemic, and long distance buying car i had a great experience I felt like the dealership had good no game policy. read more

Purchased daughter's first car there three days ago. Monsour was very professional and provided the pros and cons for a car we were interested in purchasing. Because of his honesty we looked at another car which we eventually test drove, made an offer, and purchased. They do all the paperwork there to include tags and title! He even threw in an oil change. Don't let this small business first impression fool you. They have a nice selection and stand behind their product. I highly recommend you give them a chance, no pressure to purchase. read more

Excellent customer service, amazing car! I didn't know but I had called after hours, and the manager personally called me back. They worked with me, staying late the next day to allow me and my family to drive all the way down to Dumfries VA from Maryland to look at one of their listed cars. They were very forthright about the car's history, and in record time I bought a 2019 Nissan with only 3K miles, $7K under the expected value!!! Two thumbs way up, we'll be coming back in the future!! read more

Yesterday I purchased myfirst car from Dream Auto Group (2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport). Milad the owners son allowed me and my family to test drive the car on our own. I had my own financing so that part was a breeze in addition to the paperwork. Once that was complete his father came in to assure that everything was filled out correctly. Mansour and his son Milad are super friendly and professional, I would definitely do business with them again. read more

Terrible person as well as a horrible salesman DO NOT buy anything from him! read more

My experience with Dream Auto Group did not go well. My husband and I had planned on purchasing a vehicle, but once we arrived the owner said the price had increased over night. The website was still showing the price we had planned on paying. Mind you, we live more than 2 hours away. We mentioned to the owner that we had driven quite a distance to get here. We were told by the owner he didn't care how far away we drove. The price has changed. My husband and I continued to negotiate, but decided to just walk away. read more

Dream auto group is an amazing dealership! I bought my first car from here after being haggled by big named dealerships. They prioritize the customers needs when it comes to finding the perfect car. They are an honest family owned business that works hard to make customers feel comfortable. Even after I purchased my car, they have kept in touch with me to see how my car was doing and if my car needed anything. They are very transparent and willing to help with everything. Please trust this wonderful family owned business in your next vehicle purchase! read more

I bought a 2005 Infiniti G35x with 40,000 miles for significantly under blue book value. in 2008. I now have 108,000 miles and I have just replaced tires and brakes since then - no major repairs in 5 years. When I purchased, I was able to take by the dealer and have an inspection done before I bought the car. I will always go back here first when purchasing a car. They now have a larger inventory and lot in Dumfries. read more

By far the worst car buying experience I've ever had. We spoke to Monsour on the phone for about a week before going in for a test drive, once we got there we quickly realized he had lied about everything. He told us the car had been detailed and the maintenance was up to date. Once we got there the vehicle was filthy, with tobacco crumbs everywhere and stains all over the carpets and trash under the seats. We turned the car on and all the maintenance lights came on. Also gave us wrong information on the financing options. We drove almost an hour just to find out we had been lied to and scammed. Definitely wouldn't recommend. read more

I've never bought a car by myself before, and I felt very comfortable dealing with such an honest man. I never felt pressured or pushed and the process was very simple and easy. Great service even though he was not even supposed to be at work that day - it was a holiday for him!! Thank you Mansour - I'm very happy with my new car!! read more

I had a great experience at Dream Auto, particularly with Mansour, the owner. I found a car here online and corresponded with Mansour via email, and he remembered me when I came in to test drive the car. He was extremely polite and respectful throughout the entire process and never pushy. I felt very comfortable with him and all of our interactions. I brought along a former car salesman that I used to work with to test drive the vehicle, and he also felt very positive about our interactions with Mansour and that we were getting a good deal. Mansour was very upfront that he buys cars from auto auctions, many of which have had some type of damage, which can range from only cosmetic issues, like hail damage, to bigger issues, like a bumper being damaged. He told me exactly how my car had been damaged and how he addressed that. After taking two cars out for a test drive (Mansour let me go on my own and told me to take my time), I pointed out a couple minor issues (e.g., a whistling noise), and Mansour was happy to correct the issue, including buying and installing a new side mirror, before I purchased the car. He was very communicative in letting me know when my car would be ready, since it took an extra day to order the mirror. He also had all of my paperwork ready to go when I did pick up the car, which was appreciated since I drove in from out of town. He walked me through the process of taking the paperwork to the DMV to pay sales tax and register the vehicle, which was very helpful. Finally, he told me to call him if I had any issues, questions, or needed anything else down the line. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely return! I was able to get a 2018 vehicle with low mileage for a great price. Don't be deterred that he buys used vehicles from auto auctions, as many big dealerships do that as well. Do your homework about the vehicle and ask for the Carfax report, same as you would at any other dealership, and you can leave here with a great deal! [Cross-posted on Google] read more

I recently purchased my new car from Dream Auto Group and it was the most personal, hassle-free car buying experience I have ever had. Joey was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable regarding the purchasing and titling process. I just purchased a VW Jetta last week from this dealer, 2014 with 16k miles below than the KBB value. They were very prompt and responsive. Joey and Mansour were very helpful and truthful about the whole process, no hidden fees and they honored the price I got online , there was no bait an switch which most dealers do. They were out front and very straight forward. I think I got a great deal purchasing the car from them. I would actually go back there and purchase another car if I need to. I will be in the market for a car in the next 8 months and I would definitely check their inventory then. read more

I bought my 3rd car from Dream Auto Group last week and couldn't be happier with my decision...a 2016 Nissan at used car pricing...actually below the competitor's pricing. I compared prices between CarMax and Dream Auto Group, and Dream Auto Group was the better deal on every model I was interested in. I test drove 4 cars, and made my decision without any pressure. I used to dread buying cars because of the sales pressure. I continue buying from Dream Auto Group not only because of the pricing but also the low pressure yet informative experience. read more

We recently purchased a vehicle from Dream Auto Group and they are SUPERIOR!! This has been hands down the absolute best car buying experience we have had. They are courteous and professional. We found the vehicle on the USAA car buying website. I saw a car and Ali had the car waiting for me, air conditioning running when I arrived (it was an extremely hot day, about 100 degrees outside!). They also ensured all the cars I wanted to test drive were cooled off and ready for a test drive. We got an Outstanding deal on the vehicle we purchased! The vehicle price was way under KBB. These guys are the real deal; we will be purchasing from this dealership again! Thank you so very much for being such honest business people...very refreshing!! read more

I could not be happier with the service I received from Joey and Monsour. I bought a 2016 Hyundai Sonata with less than 2k miles for a much lower than advertised at other places. From the moment I walked into the dealership, I felt comfortable. The car I wanted to see was getting detailed when I got there but Monsour called me prior to my arrival and told me that the car would not be available. Although I was slightly disappointed, I was appreciative of the fact that he had called and not waited for me to get to the dealership to tell me the news. I was even happier that Monsour did not try to pressure me into coming in to see other vehicles when the one I wanted was not available. Because I was coming from far, I decided to go to the dealership anyway and test drove other cars that were similar to the one I wanted. Since I had taken the bus down to the dealership, Monsour volunteered to drive me to the metro rather than me having to wait the 1 hour it would have taken the bus to get to me. I ran into some unforeseen financial difficulties between the time I had test drove the cars and the day I was supposed to pick up the one I liked but luckily for me, Joey and Monsour worked with me to come up with a solution that we would all be comfortable with. I am so happy with my purchase and would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a car. Thanks again Joey and Monsour, you guys were so good to me! read more
