We purchased a car from this group and 95 motors on May 2024. At the time of the sale they assured us that all paper work would be mailed the next day. To date June 26th we still have not received the bill of Sale paper work which is need to title the car where we live. We have repeatedly called them being left on Hold and then hung up on. I come to find out they never sent the paper work. and VA DMV does not even have record of the sale. We are getting nothing but a run around and WHERE has our money being spent. I will pursue this till the problem is corrected but don't take a chance buying a car from them. The temporary tag expires in July. DO NOT buy a car from these people, you will regret it! I bought my car back in August, the AC wasn't working but they told me that I could take the car, and they would order the part they need to fix the AC and then I can come back. I came in one day and they wasted hours of my time and never ended up fixing the AC because they told me they ordered the wrong part, O had to drive 2 hours back home in the hot heat with no AC!!!. I constantly gave them a call to see when they would fix the car and they would tell me the part hadn't arrived yet. Weeks later all my dashboard lights turned on and I called them and they told me to bring it in. I did and they said they couldnt find anything wrong with the car, they also did not fix my AC then. I called them for a few months and the excuse was that that didn't receive the part yet! Are you kidding me?!!! I gave them another call a few months back because they car cost $7,998 and when I check when west financial lake loans it actually was over $14,000! So I spoke to Tyler on the phone and he told me the manager or whatever would give me a call back but they never did twice!!! I failed my vehicle inspection on top of that too! I was told at the dealership that I was getting new tires before I picked up the car and I had to end up get 4 new tires because they were not good at all and I ended up doing a whole 360 on the road because the tires were bad! These people are scammers, they have been a total nightmare and they still won't make things right!!! I've spend so much money trying to fix these issues on this stupid car! They said I'd get $200 for referring a customer. It's been about a month now and everytime I talk to someone they say to come back the next day. I've spent a handful of hours in the office waiting for "the guy" and every time he's not around or he's busy at an auction. This has been a very frustrating situation especially since I was depending on getting that money since last week. Also when I first bought my car I had to fill up the gas tank myself because it was sold on empty. They told me to bring in the receipt and they would pay me back but that never happened, they took the receipt and I never received the $22 back. I posted on the BBB and the business replied by saying the referral offer that they promise to their clients is something that they can't & won't do. This place is horrible. I stood in the doorway for two minutes before the "salesmen" looked up from their phones and acknowledged me. I test drove a Nissan Xterra and after I turned out of the lot the service engine light came on. I told the "salesman" who just said it only means I need to change the oil. Right after a guy next door came running out saying the car was smoking to which the "salesman" replied, "That means its good, right?" This place is shady af. STAY AWAY especially if you are military. They try to be patriotic, but they are very shady. read more

I was interested in purchasing a vehicle from their inventory so I requested to have a PPI conducted at an independent shop of my choosing. I live out of state so all of my communication was done via telephone with John. I called around and made arrangements for one of their employees to drop off the vehicle early the following week with the mechanic that I selected. John agreed to this. On the day of the appointment I awaited to hear back from the mechanic about the inspection. No call from the mechanic so I called to check in only to find out the guys at Gorilla Motors didn't even drop the vehicle off. When I called over to the dealership to figure out what happened I was given the run-around and was told by John that "the guy who was supposed to drop off the vehicle didn't have to work today if you know what I mean..." I was very confused by his response and as I began to express my frustration with their lack of communication and professionalism, he hung the phone up on me. Waste of my time. read more

I would give 0 starts since I can't even get a response from these people. I've been inquiring about a vehicle since Saturday, today is Thursday. I spoke to David three times and the second time he put me on hold and never came back and the third time he put me on hold and came back to put me on hold and hung up. I called back and spoke to Jonathan in finance on Wednesday and he took my number and said he was going to call the bank and call me back and it's been well over 24 hours and I haven't heard back from him. they have great customer service until they owe you money. buying my car was an okay experience. when i bought it the gas tank was on E and i was told to fill it up and bring in the receipt. when i brought the receipt in i was never compensated. It didn't bother me too much that they didn't give me back my $25 because i was just happy to have a car. this was back in april. in june on 06/11/19 i brought a customer to Gorilla motors and they had a deal going on that id get $200 for the referral. it's now 08/27/19 and i just left the dealership with nothing. ive waited over a month for the $200 and for the past two weeks ive been there every day that its been open and have nothing to show for it. Chris the dealer "helping" me let me know that because i wrote a review the owner is now refusing to pay me. so if you plan on buying a car from them let that sink in first. you get a car with no gas and if you bring a customer to them you'll never see the $200 owed to you. read more
