    Social Hour Cocktail

To be fair we didn't eat food here (ordered drinks) but the staff was super friendly and they have a significantly interesting menu. They have a canned cocktail called Social Hour: two flavors One is a Grapefruit Paloma and the other is a Passion Fruit Pacific Spritz (vodka, passion fruit, strawberry, Meyer lemon, white wine & Aperitivo cocktail) Looking forward to trying their food soon!

I got the Cuban sandwich for $16 plus $2.48 taxes/fees. It took about 5 minutes to prepare. The sandwich was small and underwhelming for the price. It wasn't very full of ingredients. It tasted good but it was a lot of bread and cheese. The receipt printer was broken so I couldn't get a paper receipt.

Well, it's a big food hall, do the ambiance leaves a lot to be desired but the options are diverse. Do NOT think that the ToGo bowls are leakproof! My bowl was warped & the lid loose so oozing juices on me before I walked out of Union Market to find a seat. It sucked! That outfit CANNOT be worn again on this week long trip - this is day #1

I've been wanting to eat here for so long and finally had my chance when I came to Union Market. I ordered their gumbo and was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp is underwhelming but the chicken and rice tasted fantastic.

Immigrant food is a food stall inside of Union Market. You order on the kiosk machine and wait for your order. Pretty straight forward. I ordered the Immigrant Bowl which is a poke salad bowl. I don't think it's the best poke bowl I've ever had but it was decent enough. My biggest complaint is that there is very little poke. The ratio of rice, salad and poke was poor. The flavors were good. I just wish I received more poke for the price ($16).

Love the Mission behind this restaurant, always makes me more excited to go to a restaurant that has a great cause. Food was alright. The Miso Cesar salad had minimal lettuce especially given the cost around 20$ with added chicken and I found the added chicken to be a bit dry and didn't find the flavors cohesive. The mushrooms were my favorite part. Someone else got one of their other entrees and it was quite delicious so I still might try this restaurant again

I love a food hall! However, I get overwhelmed by the choices so for Immigrant Food to stand out, that says something. I went with the Old Saigon, their take on a Banh Mi and it was excellent. The bread tasted fresh, not too crunchy, the chicken is spiced with adobo, and I loved the pickled slaw and chili mayo that gives the sandwich some punch. I went around noon on a Friday and the whole place was packed but tables move quick. Parking was actually full but there is street parking and other free structures in the area.

Falafel Bocadillo, while messy, it's tasty!

The overstuffed Falafel Bocadilla pita sandwich was smothered with tahini sauce and very messy to eat! While I enjoyed the crispy falafel balls and the fluffy pita, the red peppers, cucumbers, and other toppings sunk to the bottom of the sandwich and they were a bit more evenly distributed with the tahini sauce. With tax, I paid $18 for a good, but not stellar falafel sandwich and wish it came with a small side of fries as a default (there's a $3 upcharge!). Wish there were more vegetarian options on the menu besides falafel and samosa. With so many ethnic food options, I would try out other vendors!

We made a quick stop at Immigrant Food en route to getting some other items from The Union Market. We weren't planning on having a full meal, so the three piece Veggie Samosa was the perfect appetizer prior to dinner. The Samosas were perfect - crispy casing, mildly spicy, flavorful interior and it wasn't saturated in oil like some other sub par places. I'd definitely come back for some more, quite possibly a full meal!! The staff were friendly, efficient and the food was prepared in a matter of minutes. Great spot for a delicious bite!! -ODL Connect with me via: YouTube & IG: @AOEAT

    Falafel Bocadillo
    Suzie Z.

Tried the food stand at union market and it is pretty tasty, albeit quite expensive (~$18 sans tips) for just falafel wrap. There aren't anything too special about this, other than they using the bocadillo or bocata bread. Don't think I will come back again but will still recommend others to try as I really like the concept behind this store.

Food was horrible. Portions were tiny. Menu was inaccurately labeled. Incredibly overpriced. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Delicious cubano sandwich. Pricy fries but good portion size. Nice ambiance at the Union Market as well. Also fast service.

Well I do enjoy burgers and plenty of places have upped their burger game. As much as it cost for a burger at certain fast food places you might as well hit up some of these other places. The prices are basically the same now. On a few trips to Capital Grille I did go with the burger and so I decided to check out its affiliate Capital Burger. Capital Burger actually has more burger options to choose for over Capital Grille and a more slimmed down menu. Still with the name burger in its name, you know where their focus is. I went with the bacon cheeseburger that comes with candied smoke bacon that came at $22 with your chose of sides (fries or various salads). It was cooked to the perfect medium rare and you can tell when a burger is cooked with better ingredients and cooked with a give a damn. It was not thrown together, and the fries were not just sitting under a heating lamp. I actually ordered a to go burger for the spouse. Here is where customer service comes in. I was asked how far I had to travel and the person taking my order said she will separate portions so it will travel better. Thank you. It is that little extra that goes a long way. This time I went with the Capital Burger to go along with some key lime pie to nibble on later. Great service and great food. There are plenty of good burger places but if you are a burger fan then definitely check this place out. Absolutely no disappointment. For a true high end burger experience I have no problem giving this place a solid five stars.
