He did everything remotely and we just discussed my computer issues over the phone while he took over my machine right in front of me. The first time I called him about whether my computer could be repaired or I needed a new one, he took over my machine and examined it remotely, spent some time talking to me, and didn't even charge me! After I got my new machine he helped me transfer a few things and spent a ton of time with me, even after business hours, for a very reasonable price. I will never use anyone else!

We did that and went to the store at the appointment time. After being at the store for an hour the Geek Squad member told us that they can't help us with the Geek Squad Protection plan. From there they told us to go online and call a number. We then went back home and called the number. Only to have them try to set us up with an in-store Geek Squad appointment. We explained to them we already did that and the Geek Squad member told us to call the online number. Then the call center proceeded to hang up. We called back, asked for a manager, after more time on hold they hung up on us. So then we called the store, only to find out calling the store just sends you to the call center. Their answer for getting ahold of someone in the store???? Just keep calling the store until it doesn't send you to the call center. What a terrible way to treat your customer. First you waste our time in store, then you waste our time with a call center. There isn't even an option to allow me to just wait for the store team to not be busy. Completely unacceptable way to treat your customer. This holiday season I will be skipping best buy and I suggest you do to.

I checked YouTube for suggestions. Removed the screws and pulled the dishwasher out. To my surprise the drain hose was spliced to the old one with a rusty pipe, not to the T drain as stated on their website. So all of the dirty water was literally going back into the dishwasher. As I said, wrote to them twice. Not even a canned response. Check any installation from this shady company. I need a new refrigerator but not a chance I would buy another appliance from them.

I called Ryan and Chris about it. Chris came out to my house, picked it up, took it to his space to check it out. He called me that night and let me know it needed a $700 part from Apple, more than the budget I'd suggested. I said thanks but let's forget it. Chris delivered it back to my house the next day and didn't charge me anything. How are you going to get more honest, transparent, caring service than that?

It was almost completely broken, I left it with the hopes of being fixable and with the expectations of waiting a long time for the fix. Lenovo has a history of taking there time sending the part to fix my computer as I had broken it once before (so you can see why I purchased a warranty). Even after an almost three month wait when they finally received the part, the computer was un-fixable. The lovely woman I spoke to over the phone said that she convinced Lenovo to send me a new computer to uphold the warranty to assure great customer service. I was speechless and I can't thank them enough!!! I appreciated it greatly as I was out of options going back to school as a student without being able to afford a working laptop.
