They did a great job and left my yard cleaner than when they arrived.

The Image crew did a great job clearing out dead wood and shaping a number of oaks. We are very happy.

Image Tree Service just spent two weeks on my property, felling/chipping four large eucalyptus trees to ensure that I now have a safe backyard. After getting six or seven bids, I chose Image Tree Service partly because their proposal represented the proper balance between people and machines and partly because I was simply most comfortable with Jeff and his team. Some of the other proposals centered around people with chainsaws and smaller towed chippers, but this approach would take too long and therefore ultimately be too costly. Other proposals suggested the use of cranes and dump trucks, but access restrictions for my backyard made that unfeasible as there would be too much reliance on heavy equipment accessing my backyard via neighboring properties. Image Tree Service got the balance just right - a large remote-controlled track chipper, a skid steer on tracks with multiple attachments, a remote-controlled spider lift on tracks, and a remote-controlled stump grinder on tracks, and of course people with chainsaws to assist. In hindsight it was clearly the right approach, and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. From the moment they rolled up the first morning until they removed the last piece of equipment just over two weeks later, everyone conducted themselves professionally. Issues inevitably come up during large and complicated jobs like this, and I always felt that everyone at Image Tree Service worked with me constructively and fairly to resolve them amicably. People commented on the scale of the job and the efficiency of the team (and also how cool their equipment was!), and one neighbor spontaneously texted me that he was "completely impressed with the speed they have accomplished the tree job" and wanted to reach out to them for a job on his property. I won't hesitate to use Image Tree Service in the future. [I am not affiliated with Image Tree Service. I am not being compensated for this review. It makes no difference to me whether you select Image Tree Service or not.] read more

this was for consult/estimate meeting- if they come through with the work in the same professional manner I will rate them again (highly) Covid aware- masked Ignacio was friendly, very knowledgeable and helped me understand my options. I am so glad that I met him in person to discuss my project- it is going to change the placement of my new structure to be so much better!! read more

I had half a dozen trees in dire need of pruning/shaping. I called Image Tree Service and the owner came out and spent a good deal of time looking over my trees and explaining what needed to be done balanced with what I was looking for. I felt the Image Tree Service hit the right spot between being too large vs too small after I had several other bids for my job. The crew arrived as scheduled and on time. They took the time to explain what they were going to do so we are on the same page and they completed the work with out any surprises or extra costs. Well worth going with a local company that is part of the community and still cares about quality work and customer service. read more

We hired Image Tree Service to do some maintenance work on our backyard trees. The crew spent 6 hours cleaning dead branches out of 3 redwood trees, removing two large branches and pruning 2 large maple trees and finally topping and thinning 2 dollar eucalyptus trees. The crew was knowledgeable, careful and very considerate of our next door neighbors yards. They cleared all of the debris and left our backyard in pristine condition. The crew was polite and worked well as a team. We were very pleased with the work and felt they charged us a reasonable price for all the work they needed to do in our yard. I highly recommend Image Tree Service. read more

A huge, multi-hundred-year-old oak tree fell during a storm on a recent night. A large portion of it landed on the roof. I called Office Manager Eileen at 8:00 the next morning. By 8:30, Jeff (and his attack Chihuahua!) were here to scope the job. By 9:00, his crew was here, removed the tree from the roof, cut off enough of the barely standing remainder of the tree to stabilize it, and tarped the hole in the roof. Jeff also referred a roofer, who came by within hours to plan the repair. Image Tree Services crew came back a couple of days later with a crane to finish the job. All work was done efficiently including a thorough clean up. The only way I could tell they were here was the missing tree. Highly recommend. read more

Once again Image Tree Service came through with flying colors. This is the fifth time I have used Image Tree Service over the last ten years. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Ignasio and his team of are polite, hard working and do an exceptional job. Their pride in doing what they do is obvious. Impressive is that after the work is completed they clean up removing any stray twigs and debris so you almost think they are not there and do a better job of it than would have. The best part is that Image Tree Service outlets everyone else when it comes to pricing. "Exceptional Service and Price!! read more

Image did an excellent job on our property. Jeff and his crew were on time and very attentive to our needs. We will use them every year. They were at our property for two days. The job was large. They were very clean. Our trees look great. They cleaned up our over grown roses out of a large tree. Thank you Image. We loved your crew. read more

This is a review of pricing. You can likely rely on the other positive reviews as to their performance. I received other quotes for the same work. Two others were similar, about 1/3 of Image's quoted cost. I chose one of those and they performed an excellent job in 1/3 of the time and 1/3 of the cost that Image anticipated. The best tree service in town. When you call, you talk to a real person not a recording. Ignacio, at Image Tree Service was very professional. He came out the same day we called (on time). His estimate was very fair and the job was scheduled promptly the next week. When they showed up to do the work (on time which I cannot express how important that is to us), the job was completed within an hour. To watch them working was amazing. The job required a bucket truck and maneuvering around waterlines. The company, their employees both in the office and out in the field are very professional. We will happily recommend Image Tree Service in the future to all who need their services. Awesome crew! read more

Once again, The Grove, Healdsburg hired Image Tree for major tree work. Noel and his crew (Leo, Nick, Sergio, Rigo, Celso and Aaron) went above and beyond the call of duty. Their work was done with skill and precision, from working on the grove of redwood trees in the middle of our property, to trimming crepe myrtles, oaks, ash, and all other trees throughout the properly. Additionally, each day they left the place as clean and neat as when they arrived. We have had Image Tree do all of our tree work for the last several years and as a result, we have much healthier trees, and a really professional business to work with. read more

All businesses should be run like Image Tree. They know what they are doing. These guys worked their butts off in the heat- did a superior job (even when my dead tree was in an especially "tricky" spot) and left my yard cleaner then when they started... all for a great price. I wish they did plumbing, electrical and painting too. Thank you Jeff, Ignacio and Eileen. You guys are the best!! read more

I reached out to Image Tree Service to have a big pile of branches and brush chipped at my house. They arrived on the day we had scheduled, and the two guys they sent were professional and they obviously knew what they were doing. They raked up all the excess leaves and blew everything off when they were done and left the area looking very nice. I was pleased with this company and I would definitely recommend them. read more

From the initial consult with Ignacio to the completed tree work, I've been super pleased with Image Tree Services. The project was at my vacation home in Guerneville and involved pruning a major oak tree and removing a volunteer bay tree. It was a day-long, arduous process involving 4 employees and heavy equipment. Very professional crew; great communication with the office staff; perfect follow-through. The crew did a nice job of cleaning the roofs and grounds of the two houses- as this project involved pruning the large oak tree away from both houses. I plan on using this company again in the future for other tree work. read more

I needed to have a large number (about 11) large diseased trees removed from the very steep hill behind our Cazadero cabin. Image Tree Service responded promptly to my request for a quote, gave me a very reasonable price, and completed the very challenging project on time and did a great job. They proactively let me know that some minor damage occurred to the cabin during the process, and made high quality repairs at no cost to me. I don't live locally, so their great communication and responsiveness was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend them! read more

Image Tree Service not only did tree trimming for our home in Sonoma, but also my mother's house in Windsor. Both jobs were done efficiently and well. They men working the jobs were professional and worked well as a team. Everything was clean and picked up at the end of each job. We would recommend Image to anyone....they were great...and also Eileen in the office was very good and very personable. We are very impressed with this company. Great job all round!! read more

Fast, fair, fantastic! Mind boggling how fabulous this outfit is. Great personable management and supervision by Ignacio, stellar customer service by Eileen and excellently skilled tree engineers. I highly recommend Image Tree Service as your go-to tree services. The customer service is superb and the crew does a great job. We had the best experience from the time I called into the office. Eileen was extremely helpful and sent Ignacio to give us a quote. Ignacio gave us a per tree quote as well as a daily rate. Eileen also called us to notify that they had an opening earlier than we had expected. Hooray! Most tree services we contacted were booked until late August and September, Image Tree Service was busy too, yet they had the courtesy to call us back to see if this earlier schedule met our needs. We finally decided to go on a daily rate since it was very reasonable. On the mutually agreed date, the three guy crew went to work immediately using a very handy cherry picker. I believe their names were Noel, Sergio, and Salvador. Noel would check with us to make sure the crew was cutting the correct trees to our satisfaction. The crew would accept our direction in terms of the height to which we wanted the trees cut. They cleaned up and chipped the wood. A reinforcement crew came to finish off the job, since two dry branches hanging over our driveway were missed by the initial crew. Image Tree Service kept their promise. I gave each and every one of the crew a tip because it was a very hot day and they worked through the day (with needed pauses, of course!) doing an excellent job. (Compared to another tree service we worked with two years ago for a huge job, they are by far superior. The other tree service cancelled our quote appointment this year and never got back to us. When I got back to their office they told me I had given them the wrong number (???). Still they had my email from a previous job. They never cared to email me to let me know the quote appointment had been suspended. The excuse was that they had a job to finish and therefore had cancelled my quote appointment!) I plan to work with Image Tree Service and especially with Ignacio if I ever need to have more dead trees/branches cut and other trees trimmed. They were outstanding. They were prompt and flexible with their quotes (per tree or per day), the office staff was amazing, and the crew who cut the trees were both efficient and effective. Go Image Tree Service!!!! read more

These guys are great! They were conscientious in doing the work and not damaging the plantings near where they had to step. Our trees look great now! And they cleaned up so well you'd almost never know they were here! Image Tree Service is now our go-to tree care company. Great job, and many thanks! read more

dreadful customer service Although this company came with good referrals, even the referring people agreed that the job done on my property was less than adequate. Job was not a big one but the gap between the work order you create with the estimator and the final outcome is enormous. Beware of the use of words like "light" pruning on the estimate as it is the means that this company uses to do a substandard job. Since the verbal discussion you have with the estimator then gets translated into a written estimate, you need to be as quantifiable as you possibly can. The discussion I had at the outset about removing deadwood and trimming back branches to blend in the canopy ended up being only trimming back of a few branches. Additionally, when one asks for a tree to be removed, one must also know to ask to have the stump removed (at extra charge). Don't mind the charge, but when I called to ask about it - the estimator admitted he had forgotten to ask me if i wanted it removed so that it could be included in original work order. 200 dollars and another site visit later the work was done as I naively had assumed it would be originally. Overall, the work done was substandard. I had to ask to have crew sent out again to prune as per the agreement with estimator. The repeat visit had better results but still was not complete to my specifications. Don't bother to complain about the work done...apparently they are perfect in every way and customer satisfaction is of no concern. You will be verbally berated and concerns will be ignored. During my FIRST conversation with the owner I was told by him that I am a nitpicker and threatened with legal action for withholding payment until work is done to my satisfaction. So much for voicing a concern. Oh yes legal intervention on work done originally on January 23 and remediated in early February. Inspected the work the week of the 16th of February - finding it still not done to my original specifications as at February 28. Trying to voice a concern is like dealing with petulant children - I was talked over and yelled at..awesome customer service. In short, you had better ensure that the estimate doesn't include non specific use of words like "light". You would be best to mark up photos to ensure you are on the same page at the outset as there is no recourse if you are not satisfied...there is NO guarantee of the work, the owner doesn't even pretend to care if you are a satisfied customer. Apparently he must have a litigation lawyer on staff as he wields that threat at our very first conversation. read more

Jeff at Image Tree was awesome! We recently bought a house and were in need of a large Douglas Fir (180+ feet) to be removed that was hanging over the home. After endless estimates that were very expensive due to the size/location of the tree, Jeff gave me an estimate that was too good to be true. His team were right on time the day of our scheduled removal and couldn't have been more professional. I can't say thank you enough for handling such a difficult job with such ease and sticking to your estimate. Thanks Jeff and everyone at Image Tree! read more

Image Tree Service showed up on time, completed the work in stated time, and they cleaned up the work site well.
