This food was very good for a sit down and the service was great too. When I ordered pizza for take out it was a little on the crispy side but eating in our raviolis and steak were fantastic. The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. But be aware it is very dark in there be prepared to bring out your phone light read more

IL Ponte - Ravioli Della Nonna & Beef Tagliata - Italian Near Me - Woburn, Massachusetts

Had a nice time here last night. Food was delicious and service was attentive! We had the beef carpaccio which was fresh and tasty, and the calamari that' was good (just could have used a little more dipping sauce). I had the gnocchi with tomato basil sauce and fresh mozzarella. So nice to have well made gnocchi!! My friend had the honey lavender duck and he loved the flavor. Definitely a step up from previous place in this location! Only small criticism is that tables are close together and it's a bit of an awkward space. Would probably be great if the tiny bar area could be expanded! read more

INCREDIBLE! Simple, classic, warm welcoming hole-in-the-wall that instantly transports you to Italy. Chef Beni has done it again! From his homemade pasta, mouthwatering scratch-made food, and his pizza oven straight from the mother country, Il Ponte is a 5 star MUST go to! Not only was the food heavenly, the staff was very friendly and inviting. First course: Octopus - Chef Beni cooks the octopus 3 ways before plating. It is incredibly tender served with a flavorful salsa verde. I was scraping the sauce off the plate with the arugula and house bread. Dinner: Gnocchi alla Sorrentina Chicken Marsala Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe (added grilled chicken) Risotto del Giorno (of the day)- pumpkin w/burrata Dessert: Tiramisu Bombolone- Italian donut filled with gelato House made Limoncello I can go into extensive detail how delectable and exquisite the food was but you really need to experience it for yourself! read more

Best meal and freshest pasta I've had in ages ! Intimate and lovely dining room....Very attentive service as well... highly recommended

Used to like this place when it first opened. Food, drinks, service are good. Now the noise level is similar to having dinner on the tarmac in front of a 737. Cannot have a conversation without shouting. Not enjoyable. read more

Service was excellent and responsive, ambiance was very cool, food was decent. We expected much more. Prices are on par with the North End, but the food was unfortunately not quite there. read more

Hands down, the best Italian cuisine you'll find on the Northshore or even the North End!

Loved everything about this visit and can't wait to try again. We had the ravioli, sausage broccoli pizza and chicken Marsala. All three dishes were excellent. The service was also attentive and excellent as well. The store is small, a little loud, but very nicely done! Loud is part of been busy, so no worries there at all, part of the experience. Great Job!! read more

If you get a chance to visit this restaurant you will find all good things with the service, most of the staff are owners or their family! The food was absolutely amazing and the ambiance is incredible for a small place in Woburn center. Not ideal for a big party, but do not let that keep you away! Be sure to call or go online for reservations, you will not regret it read more

I think my original favorite Italian place has been replaced. First let me say both my parents are Italian and I don't go out for Italian food, because...well why? We were celebrating 20 years of being together and wanted to pick someplace new and my husband found this place. Everything we ordered was so good! We had the octopus to start, it was delicious with the most amazing potatoes and arugula salad. Then we both had the cacio e peppe. It was better than mine. That takes a lot for me to say but the truth is the truth. We didn't want the food to stop so I jokingly said we should get pizza. Well my husband called my bluff and the pizza is amazing. Then we had dessert the stuffed doughnut was light and airy. The service was probably the best I've had at a restaurant. Friendly, attentive without hovering and that's a tough balance. Sorry Rosetti's, but you took the bolognese off the menu and nothing else is as good. I've tried, so Il Ponte took your place. I moved to Boston 17 years ago and I'm still scratching my head why people think the North End is great. I've never had a meal this good in the North End. Ever. Sorry no pictures. I was starving and there are plenty here you can look at but nothing like tasting it for yourself. Run don't walk to this place. Complimenti!! read more

My wife and I made our inaugural visit to Il Ponte this evening and we're extremely pleased with every aspect of our experience. Responsive, attentive service, diverse offerings on menu, very good food , generous portions , nice atmosphere .... and reasonably priced. Strongly recommend this restaurant. read more

Just simply the best Italian food I've had in a long time. Skip the madness in the North End and get out to Woburn for this hidden gem!

The food is amazing. Best pizza I've had in a long time. Very tasty. Fresh ingredients and the perfectly crispy crust. If we hadn't already ordered our entrees, we would have ordered more pizzas. My only complaint about the place was it can get a little loud and at times it was hard to hear our waitress or friends. It didn't help that the table next to us had a few people who were using their "outside" voice. We can't wait to go back. Reservations fill up quickly so you have to plan ahead to visit this cute little place ! read more

Easily the best Italian food I've had north of Boston. And beats out plenty in Boston as well. All pastas made fresh in house. Pizza was phenomenal. And service was outstanding. Quaint little hole in the wall joint pumping out real deal Italian food. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times read more

Excellent service and the food is delicious. Presentation is wonderful and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time from the prosciutto and burrata to the ceasar salad to the pizza to the bolognese to the steak and finally the cappuccino with almond cake and a cannoli. Absolutely amazing! Family owned and operated. You can feel the passion for food in that place! read more

Excellent food & service! Chef Beni brought a taste of Italy to Woburn. Very good selection of wine. We will be back.

Amazing. We go often and have had just about everything on the menu. Chef Beni's attention to detail makes every dish a masterpiece. The desserts are one of a kind, and the extensive wine list is one of the best. read more

The chicken parm was excellent. The short rib was dry and tough, but the sauce was good. The big problem was a nearby table of six was so loud we could not converse among ourselves. Overall, the restaurant is very loud and I can't recommend it. read more

Amazing food, drinks and desserts at reasonable prices. We went on a recommendation and we were not disappointed

What a beautiful restaurant great service and even better food 10/10 recommend will be going back soon

Came in on short notice with two kids in tow - they very nicely sat us at a table out of the way and did everything they could to make the experience work for a fussy two year old. We had the lamb Milanese, octopus, garganelli and pasta bolognese - all excellent though I might say the garganelli was the hit of the night. Very good wine by the glass - highly recommend the Malbec at $13 a glass. The service was excellent and very relaxed and the place (I believe this was previously Forunatos) is beautiful and welcoming. Highly recommend what I think is our new go to for Italian in the area. Also the bread was to die for! read more

It's my birthday met a few friends for dinner in this new spot in Woburn center. A small neighborhood restaurant that you'd feel comfortable with friends or alone at the bar. But the best is the food -- everything is made in house. From the beet salad, eggplant appetizer, side of broccoli mushroom risotto and bolognese tagliatelle - how we had room for desert do T know but glad we did. Great food and lively atmosphere make for a fun night. Enjoy!! read more

My husband and I love this restaurant! I grew up eating Italian food and am quite picky but this place is my absolute favorite!

What can I say. Going back for the 3rd time in 2 months. All is good so go an enjoy....just do not do it on the night we want to dine out for especially nice Italian fare. read more

Best authentic Italian restaurant in the North Shore. Unbelievable food and treat you like family.

I selfishly don't want to post a good review of this place because I don't want it to become harder to get a table. The veal dish I had this evening was the best freaking meal I think I've ever had in my life. The cocktails were out of this world. The desserts were phenomenal. What a gem this place is. I think I found my new favorite restaurant. Food, cocktails, and service all get a 10/10! read more

Saw this restaurant on Phantom Gourmet recently and decided to check it out. Well let me tell you...you will not be disappointed. We went here last night, Friday, July 5, 2024 at 8:15pm w/o a reservation. Cozy little place with maybe 40 seats. We were greeted warmly upon arrival. There were no tables available but we were able to snag two seats at the bar. There, we were greeted by the bartender, Luigi. He was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. He was very knowledgeable about every dish on the menu. I ordered a glass of Chateau Lalande Cabernet and my wife had a red Sangria as we peruse over the menu. Luigi brought over a basket full of fresh warm breads, the focaccia with garlic oil that was great. We started with Beef Carpaccio. Excellent. For dinner, I ordered the "Special" of the night, a 16oz. swordfish lightly crusted over a bed of risotto and asparagus with a special sauce...UNBELIEVEABLY DELICIOUS!!!! My wife had the Fettuccine Al Porcini in a mushroom sauce, again, absolutely delicious. Durning our dinner, the owners, Beni and Hortenca had stopped by and introduced themselves. Both were very Personable, Friendly and Proud. I could see that this was not just a job for them, this was their Love of food and making their customers happy. After our meal, we had a Tiramisu and limoncello drinks. Excellent. Again, as we exited, we received warm thanks for coming. The Service, Cleanliness, Food, Portions and Price all get 5*****s !!!!! As the Phantom says, this is a true "HIDDEN JEWEL." JC & KD read more

Great food. Take out order of Bolognese, Cacio e Pepe, Lamb Milanese & Fico a la Parma. The pastas are fresh and well prepared, the seasoning is spot on but what made this 5 stars was the Pizza and Cacio. Cacio a Pepe is too often bland and heavy. This WAS NOT. Great cook on the spaghetti, the sauce was velvety, and perfectly seasoned. The Fig and Proscuito pizza was the best blend of salty and sweet (I don't usually like sweet & savory dishes) that was in perfect balance. Now the dough, oh God the dough, was crisp but so pillowie ( is that a word?). Either way this is an excellent Italian Ristorante. We will return to eat in the dinning room like a civilized human beings. Thank you to everyone at Il Ponte for an amazing meal. read more
