This food was amazing! We ordered the Valentina. Let me tell you, my taste buds were in heaven! Staff was wonderful and nice. Really nice and cute little place. It was the best decision of our Phoenix trip. Absolutely recommend ! read more

Went here for the first time with my girlfriend and a buddy! We had an amazing time! We started with the ravioli bites, and we each had a pizza! After we had their amazing vanilla gelato and chocolate chip cookie! What made it for us was our server, Jordan. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and even recommended some local spots where we could grab a drink afterwards. We will definitely be back! 10/10 read more

What a fantastic place! Great pizza, super creative combinations and all farm fresh ingredients. Had some terrific salads too. The staff was warm and accommodating. Great for a special occasion or just an everyday meal. read more

Food is so bomb! Great vibe! Great service. Awesome for date night or just exploring the city.

Awesome pizza in a super cool location. The fig/prosciutto/arugula was some of the best pizza I've ever had.

Very nice staff. Pizza was great wood fired crust was delicious. We stopped in on a whim. My daughters 4th birthday and she wanted pizza. Found the place through yelp. They were very courteous and gave us a birthday cookie for her special day which was also amazing. read more

I don't know where should I even begin. I feel I have found a gem of place for best vegan/ vegetarian pizza. Definitely worth every penny. I could smell fresh bread baking as soon as I entered the restaurant. How worldly that feels like. We even ordered crust bread with side of olive oil Parmesan. It tasted heavenly. The location is so cool. read more

Definitely my go to pizza spot! The service is fantastic and everyone on staff is so friendly. They have great gluten free crust too! Can't wait to go back again soon! read more

Service was friendly and speedy. The decor and atmosphere were present and quaint. The food, however, left so much to be desired. The pizza was nothing spectacular. The meatballs were dry and lacked a depth of flavor. The Caesar salad was not what was expected. It wasn't a true Caesar dressing and the croutons were stale. read more

The food is really great here--you have some many options of different kinds of pizzas. The servers are all very friendly and everyone seems happy to be there. Can't beat the downtown location and vibe either! read more

Awesome service great place amazing amazing pizza and appetizers the wood fire pizza oven is so cute if you are on your way to a game highly recommend super fast service as well read more

Second bad experience. One at each location. One involving the owner yelling at his staff the second waiting 20 min with no drink order or food order taken so me and my fiancé left. read more

AMAZING! Some of the best food I have had. Simple surroundings but quite nice. read more

The pizza was absolutely perfect, some of the best I've ever had I'd say! The fried ravioli was also delicious and the service was great

Great food! Very nice staff. Met the owner and had a very nice conversation. Will definitely come back the next time we're in the area.

10/10! We came here for the first time tonight and were so pleasantly surprised. We were sat promptly by a friendly host/busser and had the sweetest server! My friends and i started off with the fried ravioli, each had a pizza, and split two desserts along with several bar drinks. Everything was incredible. Our server Jordan had great wine reccomendations for my boyfriend and i, and was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He went above and beyond by giving us local restaurant recommendations which we very much appreciate. We are already planning our next trip to come back! Thanks for an extraordinary first experience! read more

The service was great! The atmosphere was great! The pizza was good. Downtown has world class pizza. This was just good. Some of the folks at my table got ravioli appetizer. They said it was bland. Pizza lacked the finishes that make it super delicious. We will return for the atmosphere, and we will enjoy some good pizza. read more

Where do I begin to share about the experience I had here at IL Bosco in Phoenix, AZ. Jeff thank u so much for creating such an AMAZING experience for our families. Coming in from out of state and being the first time in Phoenix Arizona I called a million places to see if anyone would accommodate 40 people so our volleyball team could have one team dinner together. U were the only one who said yes.... You shared that as a parent you have a special place in your heart for sports and you were determined to make our experience a memorable one. U texted me personally for two days to make sure of the details. Then the weather hit and worried we couldn't go out and eat because ur patio was not covered. I was a-little stressed and hours before dinner u owned my problem. U said u would figure it out even if u had to call other local businesses that were friends to see what they could do. U called me back and said u were going to shut down ur restaurant on the inside just for us. WOW ur staff was amazing and flawless and I appreciated u personally walking around to make sure everything and everyone was good. U felt like family and we cannot thank you enough. By the way food was amazing too! read more

First off, amazing service. From the call I made asking about reservations to the great waiters/ service this place set them apart from other restaurants. We had the Valentina? Pizza with honey drizzle and it was really good. We sat outside on the patio near the fire pit and was a cozy, quaint setting. We did feel the Caesar salad could have been better, but not a deal breaker at all. We would definitely go back next time in town. read more

Great service. Mediocre food. Pizza has no flavor. A Margherita pizza should be the easiest thing to make but when you don't get that right then something is off. read more

One of my favorite places to go for some great pizza (excellent selection to choose from and clearly crafted from a seasoned chef), relaxed and comfortable atmosphere (also occasional live music which is a bonus), very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and overall a lovely restaurant that stands above the rest. I have quickly become a regular, and the owner, Jeff, is the nicest guy you'll ever meet! 5 stars all the way!! read more

Nice pizza, but tiramisu was pretty uninspired ... now both were delivered (late) by UE, so probably would be better at the venue ... will give them another shot. read more

Went last Saturday night and am I ever glad I did. It's a converted house with a very large patio out front. They had live music outside which was a nice plus. My wife and I sat at the bar right in front of the pizza oven and got quite a show. Let me tell you the pizza maker is awesome. The beer and wine list has plenty of choices. We ordered the Biaggia and the MIA. My wife and I owned a pizza restaurant in Scottsdale and served a fig pizza and the Biaggia blew ours out of the water. I couldn't stop eating these pies and was sad when they were gone. Great place awesome pizza and the girl behind the bar was excellent. This is a must go for true neopolitan pizza in Phoenix. read more

Great food atmosphere food and service, this is trendy yet low key Italian cuisine is well valued priced and will definitely be on our go to spits from now in when we come to the downtown Phoenix area. Bravo. read more

IL Bosco Pizza - The Biaggia pizza awesome!!! - Pizza Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Nothing to like about this place! Ordered a Lucia and the crust was partially burned, the dough was stretched too thin in the center so when you lifted the slice the drooped do badly the mushrooms dropped off the pizza. Also ordered the Caesar salad which was a bowl of greens with overly toasted croutons and a splash of tasteless olive oil! Hardly call that Caesar salad. Table was not set, when pizzas were brought to the table we had to remind the waitress that we didn't have plates or silverware. There were 8 in our party and we all ate our food since it was after 8 o'clock by the time our food arrived and we were famished but we don't think we will be back because their pizzas weren't any better than ours! read more

Great pizza and fried ravioli. Located between Lost Leaf and Greenwood Brewery in the yard of a downtown bungalow off Roosevelt. Highly attentive staff. Highly recommended. read more

IL Bosco Pizza - Fried Ravioli--delicious. - Pizza Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Great location on Roosevelt Row in Phoenix. The ambiance is nice. Stopped in for a bite before heading up north to Scottsdale. Had the stuffed pappadew peppers with spicy sausage. They were excellent and got the tastebuds warmed up. Then had the Katerina pizza (spicy pepperoni and mushrooms). The crust was excellent, ingredients were fresh, red sauce had the right taste, not too sweet. Good experience and recommend to anyone looking for some good pizza! read more

The pizza at il Bosco is second to none. If you are a fan of wood fired pizza, this should be your go-to spot. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is fun! Try the Valentina, you won't regret it! I'm definitely looking forward to trying the new downtown location. read more

This place has awesome pizza! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back again!!

Tons of pizza places to choose from, you won't be disappointed here. Definitely plan on going back.

If I got to be honest IL Bosco is a great place to eat. The Valentina pizza was so good and the Cesar salad was delicious and the customer service was great. Overall if you're looking for some good food and a beautiful atmosphere this is the place to go. read more

Visited yesterday with my wife and two kids. Ordered three different pizzas, cheese, Donna, and Katarina. The food was great. Some of the best pizza I've had in a while even though the Katarina was a bit on the "well done" side. The cheese pizza and the Donna were excellent. I ordered a Coke, but they carry some other product other than Coke, don't know what I was called. It tastes like Fernet and Cola, not my favorite, but if Fernet is your thing, then order whatever that Cola is. I'll definitely go to Il Bosco again the next time in in Downtown Phoenix. read more

I can't believe how highly rated this place is. The ambiance is not good. It's in an old bungalow in Phoenix which I can appreciate the history but it wasn't clean, everything felt sticky like a dive bar, and neither of the bathroom doors worked. I watched multiple people get walked in on and when we told staff they just dismissed it like it was normal. My wife literally walked in on a staff member using the bathroom because the door wasn't locked and there's something about seeing the person making your food doing their business that kills the vibe. The classic pizza was good but the fig pizza was awful. Way to sweet, so many fig seeds, not how you do that pizza. The service was slow even when it was empty and I had to ask if they could wipe the filthy table down after they sat us. I could see something there in the quality of the food but it needs some touches. The staff needs training. And the venue itself needs a deep clean, layout change and some serious maintenance. Overall just not a pleasurable dining experience. read more

My friends and I went here to grab some dinner on first friday. We were told what table to sit at when we came up to the host desk. For a whole hour, no one ever came to our table to take our order. We were given one pitcher of water that was never refilled. We went up to the host desk to ask someone to take our order a number of times, and they assured us someone would come by, but they never did. I understand that there were only a few waiters working that night, but we waited for a whole hour and we noticed that people who came after us were already served by the time we decided to leave the restaurant. I do know that they knew we were there because we talked to the hosts/hostesses and made eye contact with the waiters looking over at our table. We tried to go up to the host table one more time but when they saw us coming, they went back into the building. I really have no idea why they wouldn't serve us, but I don't plan on coming back here. read more

Place its pretty good to eat .. would recommend for sure nice fried ravioli and the pizza is nice

This place was amazing! Stopped by for dinner and had the spinach and kale Caesar salad (which was amazing) and three pizzas. My friends and I all loved it and the service was great! The pizza is unique and tastes wonderful. The owner, Jeff, stopped by our table to check how everything was and was very personable. We will definitely be back! read more

Can only give four stars because I'm in a hotel and the pizza was delivered and therefore colder than I like. Obviously no fault of the restaurant just hard to gauge cheese pull etc if it's cold. Having said all of that if back in Phoenix again, would DEFINITELY try as a sit down. Had a pie that was half Valentina and half Carmelo ( great that they give that option for those who only need one pie but are torn between all of the offerings. Valentina - lovely amount of spice due to Calabrian chili and great quality pepperoni. Have always been afraid of honey on pizza but not any more - it's yummy! Carmelo - sausage for me is good or bad / hit or miss. Theirs is really really good and definitely a hit. Onions perfectly caramelized. Not sure I would eat it with Valentina again because they're truly on opposite ends of the scale flavor profile wise....maybe that's their hidden point in offering it as one you can sub half for. Anyway and overall - GOOD STUFF. And again I really appreciate the attention to good quality ingredients!!!! read more

We have been in here several times and I should have posted every time. Tonight Harrison was our server. He did a fantastic job and made it a point to introduce himself. Great group of people and great pizza. I love the wow beer. read more

Currently about to start on a hunt for my favorite Wood-fire pizza in Phoenix. My first stop was IL Bosco Pizza. Not bad. The bread was toasty and had a nice crunch. Ordered the basic pepperoni. Size is small. Pepperoni slices are delicious. Overall, a great small pizza at a small spot in the middle of Roosevelt Row. I paid around $15. read more
