I've been to many IHOPS and this one is tops. I was greeted with genuine joy and warmth by the cook. It took me by surprise at first but when I heard the way he was speaking to the other patrons and staff I soon realized that he was just a very happy fellow and it was contagious! My food was cooked to perfection. I had the simple breakfast and the eggs were not overcooked. My hashbrowns were browned perfectly and the sausage was juicy. My waitress was sweet and came around at the right times. There is a balance of how often I want to be distrurbed during my meal. A+ and 5 stars! read more

I came in for a breakfast. It took them 5 minutes to seat me, another 10 minutes to take the order and another 18 minutes to bring it out! You can't find butter any where on the table. I ordered a regular breakfast listed at around $7. My bill came at $13.68 for ordering coffee and a side of bread!! Really? Even when I asked for the toast, it took them around 8 minutes to bring it out!! My experience with local diners like C&S has been far better and I got what I deserve for not going where I usually go. While I sat at one of two occupied tables, I sat undisturbed by the waitress as she seemed to do whatever possible to not even walk past my table. We repeatedly asked our server and other servers that we are still waiting for our order. Seems like nothing has changed or improved since our 1st visit! After asking about our order numerous times and getting every excuse under the hot desert sun, it came 63 mins after our order was put in. My pancakes were cold and my husband never got his side of pancakes. I walked up to the front and asked for the manager. She came to our table about 4 minutes later and I explained what had occurred. I also mentioned other tables were either waiting, got their order way before we did or got the wrong order all together. She did take my meal off, but told her there is a problem in the kitchen. It's really to bad no one took this issue seriously! No one Should ever have to wait that long, especially for cold and missing food. Very disappointed!! Ok! We got there at 9:30am got seated at 9:50am seating was fast only thing was when we order we didn't get our food until 11am! My food was brought by the manager and she didn't bring my friends food! Manager said the ticket said only dish! We were so mad because even the waitress repeated our order! When the order was ready, it sat at the window for some time and the waitress put her whole hand on my daughter's stack of pancakes... Gross... Not sure if it's new or not but they have a nice outside seating. Second time at this IHOP and by far the BEST customer service I've experienced. Amber and Kiandra were professional, helpful, and friendly. Amber, our server, checked on us perfectly, not too much, not too less. Kiandra greeted us and was very friendly and professional. We've been here a few times in the past couple of months and have NO complaints! Very friendly/efficient service, clean, and food was great. I've had the turkey sandwich (actual carved turkey breast...on a marbled rye with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, bacon...delicious!) and the chicken sandwich (just as fresh and tasty)....generous portions on both. RAAAAAVE! ... IHOP. I know there's been a ton of raves on this place, but we finally made it in (right before closing tonight,) and their crew is AMAZING. We were greeted with a big smile, we received excellent service, and everyone working at the time (quite a few people,) made a point to each stop by and chat with us, check on us, etc. We got our food in under ten minutes, and it was delicious. It will be hard not to close my shop early, just so we can make it in for a late dinner more often! (We both close at 10pm.) So, that being said.... Yay!! So let me start off by saying that today is black Friday and it was pretty packed but not completely. So when we got there we had a 15 wait and was finally seated at a table with another family of six but I just wanted to eat and was very hungry. Got our order taken after another 15 min. After 20 minutes more I had to use the bathroom and when I came back the wrong order was sat in front of me and my wife told me that they got her order wrong and asked for the dish she asked for, I took the plate they gave me and got my dish shortly after, so my wife and I shared my plate and let tell you that what they charge for a dish is horrible. My food was cold and rubbery but we ate it anyway. After another 20min I went and asked how much longer and they had not even started on it so we just paid for my crappy dish and left. Asked for roasted red potatoes with red and green roasted peppers - got a very small bowl of soggy potatoes with little bits of green pepper the size of minced garlic, nothing red at all. Waited 45 minutes for food, were served about half our order by a guy that I think was the janitor, no kidding, he just stood there holding the plates not saying a word. So after a long day at work, my husband and I did not feel up to cooking, so we decided to try out the new IHOP. We were a little skeptical because of some of the bad reviews that we had already read, and certain comments by word of mouth. However, since they have already been open for a while, we decided, what-the-heck, we'll give it a shot. Plus we have two young kids that, of course, love pancakes and waffles. Upon entering, we noticed that the hostess/barista was making drinks, but despite being caught up, we were still greeted by her, and also, by the cook in the kitchen. They let us know that they'd be right with us. A little recognition goes a long way with me, just saying. Anyhow, shortly after that we were seated and given a rundown of their Limited Time Offer menu, as well as their coffee bar menu. By the way, I totally recommend the Frozen Cinnabon drink. I had it and... Yum! So after the hostess left, our server showed up, Faith - now, I have to say, she is the best server I think I have ever had. Don't get me wrong, I have had good servers before at other restaurants, but Faith's personality was right on with my whole family. My daughter has this rubbery spider that she was keeping in her small lock box, and she wanted to show Faith, and right away Faith began interacting with her. Making her and my son both feel as if they are just as important to her as perhaps a close friend. So, needless to say, happy kids equals happy parents. We ended up deciding on two Jr. Rooty's, which my kids switched up a bit, with the different toppings. They devoured their meals in about two minutes. My husband and I both ended up getting the Philly sandwich, but he added jalapenos on his, which I will be doing next time because it was awesome. The Philly's were awesome, but I like variety, so next time I think I will try out one of those famous IHOP Crepes. We did not have to ask for refills on our drinks; Faith had them before we even realized that we were low. All in all, this was probably the best experience that we have had at a Yucca Valley restaurant. We will definitely be back. read more

There is no selection of items for senior citizens. I ordered a spinach mushroom omelet plus coffee. The bill without tip came to $16.83. This is way too expensive. Other restaurants charge around $9 to $10 for the very same meal. I will not return or recommend this place. The prices for breakfast food is outrageous.
