Standard IHOP. Huge plus that it's open 24 hours so definitely a pro when you're coming back from DC and need some grub ASAP that's not McDonalds or 7/11. Their chicken and waffles is mediocre to me. It comes with 4 1/4 pieces of a large waffle and 4 pieces of fried chicken strips and honey mustard. Both the waffles and the chicken were a little overdone. It was a struggle biting into the chicken pieces. My friend got the country omelet which looked amazing. Hash browns inside and pretty much everything else on top. To top it off, they had sour cream and the omelet was HUGE. I would definitely recommend that over the chicken and waffles. But definitely a place to go if you're still awake and hungry at 3 or 4am in the morning. read more

Today I made use of the fact that this restaurant actually has non-breakfast offerings available in the morning when it's almost impossible to get anything but standard breakfast food. I came here about 10:30 and had an early lunch of chicken Cordon Bleu. I was a little uncertain that this dish might be outside the area that IHOP does well -- it's certainly not the kind of dish that IHOP is famous for, because, outside of pancakes and waffles, they're best known for traditional American food. And the dish came out rather different from what I might have expected for chicken Cordon Bleu: the cheese sauce and ham were layered on top, rather than stuffed inside, and there was a top layer of spinach. But the test of a dish is how it tastes. Although it was certainly an unconventional Cordon Bleu, it was certainly good enough to order again! It came with an order of home fries that I could only criticize for having onions (which I would have preferred not to have) in it -- but the onions were sparse enough that it was acceptable. And I got a big enough portion that there was no need to have a dessert afterward, so it was just that and a hot tea for my lunch. read more

To my amazement they didn't have any, but I was so drunk that I ignored her and expected a Turkey burger anyway. Imagine my surprise when a chicken sandwich showed up. The pancakes were good, I had the nutty ones (having the calories next to everything really kills your brunch buzz). I'm currently a bit underweight and even I was gasping at some of the calorie counts, one breakfast was over 2000 calories! That said, there are healthy options, it's just up to you to select them. One partner in crime's chocolate pancakes were so obscenely chocolaty, that he (a massive chocolate fan) couldn't finish the two that came with this meal. The other had envy inducing Belgian Waffles. I love this place! And their service! I went in Wednesday and was assisted by Andrea. She told me her name right away and asked if k wanted something to drink. Since I already knew what I wanted to eat I placed my order as well. It was Wednesday at 4pm so it wasn't busy. I got my food in within 10ish minutes. She got me warm syrup, it was AWESOME! Every year our large group of club members come to visit this IHOP. It feels like every year I am unfortunately disappointed too. We called the restaurant 3 days prior and the waiters started to freak out the minute we arrived. We have also had bad experiences with the food and waiters. There is this one waiter who treated us extremely poorly and started to freak out at us when we demanded that our pancakes were undercooked, appearing to be quite refusal when we asked for them to be sent back. I am giving this place 2 stars because the food never seems to let me down, however the waiting time appears to be unreasonably long. However I still somewhat don't trust how sanitary food is due to what appears to be asbestos on the ceilings. I am also highly perplexed by my friend ordering fries and ketchup and they gave us fries with chopped up tomatoes on top. Will surely not visit again read more

This is by far the worst IHOP I've ever been to. It is small and cramped, for one thing. I'm not completely opposed to small places, but IHOP already has a kind of sketchy feel to it even in a large, open one. When all that sketchyness is just crammed together it almost makes you lose your appetite for pancakes... ...almost. The two of us were sat at a table for four in what seemed like a forgotten corner of the restaurant (though, it was so small that all it really had was forgotten corners). We had to actually ask the hostess who seated us to find out server, because she was nowhere to be seen. When she did come over she didn't even say anything, just looked at us pen in hand. I don't recall her ever actually saying a word to us while we were there. The food was out fast enough after that, though it was another battle just to get our check. Here is the thing about IHOP. You go there because you crave IHOP, same as White Castle or Dominoes. I don't think anyone actually likes these places, we just crave them every once in a while. But the combination of the cramped quarters, the particularly dirty feel (even by IHOPs standards), and the ordering ordeal, I couldn't even enjoy my (rather flat for IHOP) Pancakes and (burnt beyond all flavor) sausage. This is the WORST experience I have had a IHOP ever in my LIFE. I love IHOP, I just love their hash browns. I could eat off their hash browns for the rest of my life if I had to. Anyways, the parking lot here is shady. Its so tiny and getting to the parking lot was confusing. We didn't know if we even ended up at a IHOP parking lot. So we come in and get seated right away. Its not busy and it was around maybe 8pm. We waited like 10 minutes for our waiter to come. Literally the whole restaurant, there was only one waiter, manager, and a bus boy working. Ok anyways so we order. And I just remember keep looking at the clock wiaitng to see when our food is supposed to be here. So it finally comes, and we got our appetizer sampler. It was pretty good. So our entrée comes. I ordered the biscuit and gravy with scrambled eggs, sausage, and hash brown. The scrambled eggs were good. The sausage was COLD and the Hash brown was WAY over down. The biscuits and gravy was also COLD and just tasted something wasn't right. I mean how can you mess up food that your restaurant specializes? Food is what you'd expect from any other iHop. I would say that the service here is particularly bad because it's slow and the staff isn't that happy to be around. You might be waiting around a long time for a table because it's almost always packed. In addition, it's just a bad location for parking and the restaurant is pretty tiny. This was my first time visiting an IHOP and if this is what all locations are like, I won't be back again. I arrived at the restaurant, and after telling the host I wanted to wait to my friend, observed a waiter come up and complain to said host about how he "didn't have time to work here at IHOP" and how much he hated his job and thought that being there was a complete waste of time. Right in front of a customer! Once we were seated and ordered, our waiter didn't introduce himself or give his name, just asked if we were ready to order after having only a couple minutes to look over the menu. Once we did order, the food didn't arrive until 45 minutes later due to an error in their ordering system even though they weren't very busy. The table and booths felt sticky and unclean, our table didn't even have regular syrup (we had to ask for it), they were out of butter, and this particular location had a lot of screaming kids and babies. Once our lukewarm, mediocre food arrived after nearly an hour and my friend and I started eating, the waiter came over and slid the bill directly in front of her, touching her plate, as if trying to hurry us out of there.
