Quick, friendly and good food at typical airport prices. Not wanting to seat at the bar? No worries they have small two person tables to accommodate those. The area is small and really tight but manageable given it's an airport. The food at first glance had me a little hesitant but the turkey club was beyond my first impression. The fries also were the perfect crispy and "Checkers-like" (you old heads: Rally's) taste that I wasn't expecting but happy it did. Prices no matter what you order is in that $11-$30 range but what isn't at an airport anymore.

Three eggs over medium, sourdough toast, breakfast potato's and bacon

Sat at the bar at 7:30am for breakfast and coffee. Desean was the bartender and provided great service. He was attentive to guest's needs and friendly, engaging in light conversation. My meal was great, I was impressed as airport food is usually mediocre, but this meal hit the spot. I asked for my eggs over medium and they were perfect.

    Bloody Mary

This review isn't about the food necessarily but about the servers more specifically about our bartender Desean. This is your normal airport restaurant. Someplace to get a quick bite and a drink before getting on your flight. Ordered a Bloody Mary and shared an avocado toast with my wife. The Bloody Mary was good and the avocado toast something to put in our belly's. But what's important is what drew me into this place. Waiting on our flight and needing to fill up our water bottles I went in search of a fill station the closest one to us was being worked on so now comes the challenge of finding one. I look around and from across the building terminal I can see a young man waving at someone. I realize he's waving at me and mouthing the word "water". I walk towards him and he asks if I need to fill up my two water bottles. I say yes hand them over and he asks if I want ice and lemon in them. Mind you I'm not buying anything he's just helping me out. I want to tip him but I don't have any cash so I ask if I could order a soda (I don't drink sodas) just so I could tip him. With a smile he says it's his pleasure and that a tip isn't required and that I have a great day.... I walk back to my wife with filled water bottles a plastic cup with some lemon slices and tell her we need to go order something from this place so I can tip this young man. Thank you Desean for making this amazing customer experience for me by just filling up some water bottles.

Had the District Breakfast with chickensausage. The meal was very delicious.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant is very convenient since it is next to the Delta gate.

Solid Airport food with expected drawbacks The burger was a solid choice--basic but satisfying--and the crispy fries were a highlight. Service was just okay, but the food came out quickly (about 15 minutes), which is a plus for airport dining. While the dining area wasn't the cleanest, it's in line with the overall state of the terminal. Prices are steep, as expected at airports, but this spot, alongside Cava, stands out as one of the better options in Terminal B.

$15 avocado toast. Very thin layer of avocado only one piece of toast and one egg.

$15 for avocado toast - one slice of bread one egg and a thin layer of avocado. Doesn't taste fresh.

While heading home from DCA to Atlanta, I made a pit stop at the grille district for a meal to sustain me through the evening. This restaurant offers seating options at the bar or in a booth. It's one of the best choices on Concourse B. The booths here have plugs, convenient for charging your laptop or phone while waiting. I opted for the fried Cod and fries for my meal. The entree also came with the option to add coleslaw, all for under $25. My airport meal not only offered great value but was also expertly prepared, bursting with flavor, and served hot and delicious. The customer service was excellent. The manager visited my table, ensuring that my meal was to my liking. When passing through DCA, I plan to revisit this restaurant and explore other options on the menu.

I look forward to seeing DeShaun every time I fly into DC ---and for their yummy breakfast. Definitely stop by for enlightening and engaging conversation-- and for a great bite to eat.

9/21/23 time to get some breakfast.

9/21/23 It's time to get some food in me. Some of the shops that sold food didn't seem appealing to me. Places like Starbucks or Dunkin Aka Dunkin Dounut's is to generic...? Commercial..? How about to well known. I wanted to try a place I haven't been to before. I ended up getting the Chicken and biscuits with cheese and bacon. The sandwich comes with papas (potatoes grilled). The service was adequate. The guy I met was friendly enough and we talked for a breif moment. I got my food to go and I have now slowly finished it off. Overall, the food was okay, but not great. Still, the food filled me up and I will be sure to get some sleep on the plane. I can now say I have eaten and drunk something from this business. The whole order came to $29.70. The apple juice was costly, but good. No free refills. Overall, the service is good, the Chicken tender sandwich lacked flavor. 4 stars for this place.

Was not impressed with the visit here as I had some extra time before a flight and was looking to get something a little nicer at a sit in restaurant. The decor looked a little nicer and there were booths but the experience wasn't really any different than going to a fast casual option. The service was not quick and the food items were plated a little nicer but not really any better quality than eating elsewhere. The orange juice and coffee were fairly plain, Not unusual for airport food, just priced a bit higher than going outside of the airport. The early bird tried to fit a full breakfast into a bagel, but the flavor was very mild and it ended up being difficult to eat as the filling was too much for the bread and it was difficult to keep the elements contained within the sandwich. The potatoes on the side felt a bit underseasoned and were not crisp. The chicken and biscuit was quite underwhelming compared to similar breakfast items. The biscuit itself was pretty nice, however the chicken was a little overcooked, not crispy, and a bit underseasoned. Without gravy, there also wasn't really anything to tie both elements together so it was overall less satisfying than any regular fried chicken sandwich. Overall, not bad for airport food but it didn't provide the experience that I was expecting.

$25.03 total for Chicken Cesar Salad
    Jeannie S.

My chicken Cesar Salad was absolutly delicious!! I am very impressed. Lettuce is crisp and freash. Chicken is soft, moist, flavorful. Dressing tasty. Croutons fresh and crispy. Sliver Parmesan cheese is fresh abd delicious. $14.75 for the salad then add $8.00 for the chicken. If you are not in a rush (like 2 hours before you board) I recommend to try the food here. Service: hardly none. Booth I was sent to seat at was dirty, wet, food crumbs. I then asked to sit on a table top. That was dirty too. Took a long while to get SeHerr. (15 minutes). No menus. Food came out fast. Booth space from table to tummy/chest was ot wide at all. But it did have a charging spot on the wall above the table, that was great! Inside: Not so clean Outside: located in between gates B17 to B22 Good bar top space with charging stations. I would come back to try out their menu.

Definitely no frills airport food but the pretzels were everything so I'd recommend if you're at DCA in terminal 2, gate b, grab a bite. Awesome staff! Great little spot.

For under $70 two people can have crab cakes benedict, fried brussels, crispy French toast... I don't even remember. Like ten different things! I didn't have to eat again until 9pm. The food was great! Vinny, who was our handler (clearly he has training in special education or something because we that table. Unfortunately, service started off on the wrong foot. There was a very large party already on the patio, and I was seated behind them. I waited about 12-15 minutes before the rest of my group arrived, but no server ever came by. We decided to head inside to get re‑seated, but couldn't find a hostess anywhere. We eventually flagged down a random server in the bar area and asked if a four‑top could be cleared so we could sit there instead. Thankfully, once we moved inside, everything improved dramatically. Service from that point on was attentive and friendly. The "Peoples Hour" menu was a highlight--great pricing without feeling "cheap." Appetizers were $6-10, cocktails $6-8, wines $6, and beers $6.50. The Down & Dirty (a vodka martini variation without vermouth) was solid, and the Out of the Office...Forever rum punch was decent. For food, we tried several items: - Makers Mini Nachos with steak -- Generous toppings but the chips got soggy quickly under all the queso, sour cream, and guac, which is not necessarily a bad thing. - Taco-bout Fish -- Crispy cod with a lemon aioli; one of the better bites of the night. - Drop It Like It's Hot -- Really good chicken tenders with a spicy Comeback sauce. - Lil B sliders -- Nicely cooked and not overdone; the Comeback sauce added a nice kick. The space has an upscale sports‑bar vibe with TVs above and around the bar. Seating can feel tight when it's busy, and the noise level definitely climbs, so keep that in mind if you're looking for a quieter meal. Despite the rocky start, the rest of the evening was enjoyable. Good food, great happy hour pricing, and solid service once we were settled inside. I'd return--just probably not to the patio during a big party.

From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. His recommendations were on point, and his energy really elevated the whole meal. We kicked things off with the nachos, and they absolutely did not disappoint--loaded, flavorful, and the perfect start. For our mains, we went with the Cadillac burger and the Canyon Creek burger, both cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. One beef and one bison. You can tell they really take pride in the quality of their food. Also, the fries were fresh and good. The salt and pepper onions set the bar high. But honestly, the standout for us was the half sour pickles they bring out--so fresh, crisp, and ridiculously good. We loved them so much we had to grab some to take home! Between the incredible food and even better service, this place really knocked it out of the park. We'll definitely be back. I also meant to mention a gentlemen came by at the end of the meal to clear some plates. I believe he may of been a manager (wore a tie) and gave us the story of the pickles and how they were processed and came to be a part of their establishment . Great touch to end the meal!

The check in area feels cramped with two podiums and way too many checkin staff crowded at the front. Once you get a text, you have 10 minutes to arrive or you may have to sign up again. Once checked in, you have an assigned seat based on size of your party. So you won't have a choice on preferred seating section. There are no to-go items or take away options. So plan on staying seated to dine. There is free WiFi, charging stations at your seat, and single restroom available. I hope they add more healthy options. *** Tip - if there is a long wait time and you can't get in, they have a small cafe of quick items for sale. With a Cap One credit card, all items are half off! I got the vegan chickpea salad and a Pressed juice for roughly $12? Good deal at the airport! Coffee, croissants, and some of the items from the lounge are also sold here.
