The food was not good. No flavor and variety in the dishes. The service was great and appreciate the different seating areas. I wish the space offered more food options.
I went to the Centurion Lounge at DCA early in the morning for breakfast before my flight. It was easy to find, and I didn't have to wait to get in. The lounge isn't very large, but it wasn't crowded while I was there. It was very clean, comfortable, and looked nice. The bar area was probably the nicest part. It was large and very well set up. The food was good, but there wasn't a big variety. They had a couple of egg options, sausage links, plenty of fresh fruit, and breads. It was enough for breakfast, just not a huge selection. Everyone on the staff was pleasant, and they stayed on top of cleaning and clearing dishes. I could see the lounge getting busy later in the day because of its size, but early in the morning it was a comfortable place to eat and relax before my flight. I would use it again.
Solid lounge option with good food and a full bar. This particular location tends to be high-demand. So a waitlist is common for peak times. On my most recent visit, I was able to enjoy the breakfast. They had a good variety: pastries, yogurt, juice, eggs, potatoes, homefries, oatmeal, etc. Also, service at the bar was speedy and friendly. I did have to hunt for a seat, but lucked out and got one of the honeycomb-style single cubicles in the back. Also, in spite of the lounge being very busy, there was no wait for the shower. The shower was a waterfall style showerhead and also had an accessible showerhead too. Also, they were able to hook me up with a toothbrush and toothpaste. If this lounge wasn't so overcrowded, it would be an easy 5 . Overall, worth popping into if you have access.

This is THE lounge to visit when passing through DCA. It has the most attentive and responsive staff I've ever ever had the pleasure to encounter in an airport lounge. The facilities are, of course, top-notch. Exactly what you'd expect from the exorbitant annual card fee that gives you access to this lounge. The bar services clients quickly (no ridiculously long line even at peak times), the buffet is spotless and filled with fresh veggies and fruit, and the lounge manager/supervisor, Anetenah, is at the top of his game. I casually asked about a cordoned off area in the hopes I could write in peace, but didn't have the proper status to enter the special space. I didn't make it two steps away before Anetenah called out to me and offered to open a private family room for my personal use. This might seem like a small thing to people reading, but when a lounge is overcrowded and almost every desirable seat is occupied by a child or an animal, it can be disappointing at best, angering at worst. That is NOT the case here. I was escorted to the "Family Room," and when Anetenah unlocked the door to this private room, I felt truly grateful. It's a small, perfectly-appointed private space with a television, a small library, and plenty of outlets. I've been able to write and take work calls with no bother. And the best part? Banchi has kept an eye on me in my room and made sure I'm taken care of. She herself has grabbed me a drink and even directed a delightful young lady named Marawa (I've likely misspelled her name incorrectly, apologies!) into the room who did the same so I can continue working. The entire staff is beautiful (a lot of Somali/Eastern African folks), they clearly enjoy working with each other, and that genuine spirit of kindness is felt in how they interact with clients. This is the type of lounge experience that can fool you into believing that the annual fee you pay on that special credit card is absolutely worth it. These are the type of people, the type of employees, who make a business shine. Well done, Centurion lounge.
Another choice at DCA for lounge access. Always great to see new ones opening with the constant new rules and restrictions many lounges are putting on customers. Hopefully with more options there will be less of a strain to get in these lounges created by the demand with DCA being ......well DCA. Flight issues always pop up here, and it is great to have a lounge where you can get some rest to recharge before or between flights. This is especially true when coming straight from being at work all day to catch a flight. This place is very easy to miss in Terminal 2. I was right across from it and did not see it. Unlike other lounges with an obvious and larger sign pointing saying here we are this Centurion Lounge is very non-descript. Check in was easy and if you want to reserve a spot, I do believe you can do this via the Priority Pass app. This was a good size lounge. There were small conference rooms that could hold a good number of people. Some decided to use these rooms as a playground for their kids. If you come in and see that it is a bit crowded just keep walking because there is plenty of room in the back. The good thing about the extra room at the back is that it offers a nice view of the runway and Potomac. A variety of food was available. Now this is not Golden Corral so don't think it is going to have everything and put you in a food coma. Still, it will fill you up. On the day I went there a spicy pasta was being served and no surprise, it was tasty as the menu comes from the ideas of many James Beard award winners. One of the chefs is Kwame Onwuachi (Dōgon here in DC) and highly recommend his book 'Notes From a Young Black Chef". The best part of the food was the variety. I was there during lunchtime serving, and the food was in heavy rotation, so you know you were getting something fresh. As with many lounges there was a good selection of drinks designed by the numerous chefs who collaborated on this menu.
When friends become like family. Had a quick chance to pop into the Centurion lounge on my way to Phoenix. While I only had about 15 minutes to pop in and out, it was amazing how they made me feel. From the moment I checked in, the desk attendant was pleasant and beyond helpful with a wonderful smile and inviting personality. Checkin. It was quick and efficient, probably the best I've experienced. The food selection was great, the serving bar was clean and well stocked, and the lounge, while full, was still accommodating and welcoming. The star of the show was truly Chef Monique! Chef Mo not only remembered me, but it was beyond the superficial, she recalled my son Steven II, who had a liver transplant due to his dairy allergy and metabolic condition, She said meeting us over a year and a half ago changed how she approached food and that she always keeps in mind what she can have on hand that is vegan or non-dairy. While I did not get a chance to stay long, it is encounters like this that keep me coming back. Great job.
I really like the Centurion Lounge DCA, especially for early morning flights out of Reagan National. This lounge is relatively new and has quickly become my go to over the United Club at DCA, which is perfectly fine but just not on the same level. The buffet and bar options here are excellent and feel thoughtfully done. The earlier you arrive, the better your seating options, so timing definitely helps. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, which sets the tone right away. A small but notable detail is the restrooms, which are easily the best in the entire airport. Clean, modern, and well maintained. Overall, a classy lounge in an airport that keeps getting better. Highly recommended for Centurion members flying out of DCA.
Centurion Lounge DCA is located in terminal 2 past TSA. Once you clear TSA access is on the right via set of stairs or elevator to the second floor. This popular lounge at DCA gets busy and depending on the time of your visit, you might be put on a wait list. Service at checkin was friendly with the representative informing me of the art gallery displays and of the shower amenities. If you are a vegan the hot food items are perfect for you. I enjoyed the spinach watermelon salad, grilled eggplants, and the squash dishes. The chicken looked dry so I simply passed. My sweet tooth was satisfied with two scoops of ice cream happily served with a smile. Note- ice cream is served from noon till they run out. Centurion lounge DCA is an amazing lounge to visit prior to your boarding your flight.
Had an early flight this morning and saw that it opened at 5 AM on the app however note that continental breakfast does not start until 6 AM and they only have pastries and snacks between 5 to 6 AM
As one other reviewer wrote: the food is average but edible. The only type of cheese at the salad bar is feta. Only two options for salad dressing. The furniture is new but closely spaced. I don't recall encountering another elevator as slow as the one here. Bartenders are courteous but not quick.
Just need to vent for a minute about the AMEX lounge situation at Reagan National. After what felt like forever waiting for American Express to finally open a lounge here, I've now been turned away multiple times trying to use it. Today was more of the same -- I was told to scan a QR code and put myself on a waitlist. Fine in theory, but in practice, you can expect that even when your name is called the lounge will be packed. Finding a seat at the bar is nearly impossible, and even grabbing something from the buffet turns into a hassle. Meanwhile, the annual fee on the Platinum card has gone up significantly. I travel a lot for work, and lounge access is a big part of why I carry the card. But if you can't reliably get in - or make real use of it when you do - when you're traveling. the value proposition starts to wear pretty thin.

OUTSTANDING service from Niceasa! She truly went above and beyond. Every drink she made exceeded expectations, and her warm smile and positive attitude were a much-needed bright spot after the struggles and stress of traveling. And let me tell you--she has the Bourbon Sour down packed! Easily one of the best I've had. Don't just take my word for it--go check in with Niceasa and try one for yourself. At this point I am a regular at a lot of lounges up/down USA east coast. I actually really like this centurion lounge. It's always immaculate, the people are nice and it's a nice size that even when there is a wait it's not terrible. They have a variety of food that's always tasty and a full bar. Some of the hot coffee machines tho are unreliable. A recurring issue with most lounges. To earn a 5 star there shouldn't be maintenance issues w the basic machines on such a regular basis that I've noticed (I fly a few times a month) read more

This is my first time in a Centurion lounge. This rating is comparing this lounge to the other lounges I usually go to (chase sapphire lounge and delta sky club). I actually went to both this Centurion lounge and the nearby delta sky club just for comparison. Honestly, I don't get what the hype is about. From food perspective, the delta sky club nearby is better quality. Food at this Centurion lounge seem like a level under delta. But in my experience, chase lounge still has the best food. From a perspective of resting before a flight, this lounge is crowded compared to delta sky club nearby. I was there at around 7pm on a Tuesday night. So if you want peacefulness in a lounge, this is inferior. Overall, this Centurion lounge would not be my first choice if I was flying out of dca. I will go to delta each time. This would be a back up if I run out of delta sky club visits on my amex card. read more

Decent food and options. However, The Capital One and Chase Sapphire lounges are giving the Amex Centurion lounges a run for their money. This lounge is large with nice interior decorating and use of space. Location makes those lounges great. If you don't mind going through security twice. You can go to this lounge easily if you fly out of terminal A. read more

Great new Amex lounge finally at DCA!! Even better than our Seattle one. Large, with friendly staff, clean, nice facilities with a unique closed off multipurpose room and screens. Good food and much larger bar selection of premium drinks than most centurion lounges!! I'd pay to use this if I didn't have complimentary access for sure! read more

It's been a year since they opened and I've been many times over that year. I'm an AAdvantage member and can go to anyone if the 3 American Airlines Admiral's Lounges in DCA, but for the past several months I've pretty much only come here. Check in has been smooth and quick and there's rarely a line. The food is usually really good, with fresh fruits and great scrambled eggs. The staff does a nice job clearing the tables and cleaning up. Restrooms are generally pretty clean too. Definitely a lor more improved over my first visit, which was only a couple of days after they opened and when CrowdStrike had occurred. read more
Nice lounge that opened up in Terminal 2. You can tell the lounge is new, nice, and modern. The crowding here was really bad. The layout has it where the bar line goes into the walkways so it can be really difficult to move around. For a new lounge, the selection of food was much less than those in other cities. I will say, the staff was great with clearing plates and keeping things clean. I did really like the large windows that provided the ability to look out into the airport. Overall not a bad lounge if you have a layover or get to the airport early. Giving 3 stars because compared to the other new lounges, it is a bit lackluster. There was nothing to stand out. read more
The Centurion Lounge is a pleasant upscale addition to DCA, which is an airport that has several upscale lounges. The layout is good with several different rooms and some interesting artwork. Seating is comfortable as well. On my visit the staff has trouble keeping up with keeping the tables cleared. No one really enjoys eating at a table with someone else's dirty plates. Hopefully, they will resolve this. Also while chicken is the protein of most lounges, some variety would be good for frequent visitors. read more
Love this free benefit from Amex Platinum. As a frequent flyer this is big, heart warming and a beautiful and anticipated longing. This lounge provides a nice break for passengers looking for a respite and some "decent" food. Pros - I can bring a guest. Melika at the front desk gave me a warm and beautiful welcome. What happened as in Not so positive- 1) The "decent" food was bland. The buffet is big and has a lot with both breakfast and lunch items at 11:30 am on a Monday. The chicken shawarma shug looked so tempting but was bland. The curry chick pea salad also had a lot going on but was not seasoned properly. The salad dressing was the best item. 2) Limited seating compared to Charlotte I had to go around twice to find a seat. 3) Indifferent bartenders. Just wanted a glass of OJ. Bartenders saw me walk up and wait and continued bs ing. Then took their time and had to ask me again what I wanted. Re: limited seating there are lots of team members walking around and socializing but few actually picking up and clearing tables allowing for a proper flow for some of us who have just 15-20 minutes. I had to jump in and help an employee who put the wrong item name card on the buffet - it was for the chicken shawarma - he put the kale salad tag. Maybe an off day! The Charlotte NC Amex Centurion Lounge ( 5 star Yelp review from April 8,2025) sets the bar very high with it's consistency and stellar team. Please note- the lounge is by the A gates in Terminal 2. If you have a flight out of the D or E gates, kindly allow for 12-15 minutes to walk to your gate and make the check in at the gate for your flight. Take the stairs up too as the elevator is also in slo mo just like the staff here. read more
Finally a lounge that's not an airline lounge. Although I was quite impressed with the Delta lounge here, I was really happy to see the first Centurion Lounge in the DMV. It's very comparable to other Centurion lounges and was surprised how much space there was in here. Nicely decorated and a wide bar too. I've only been here for breakfast and thought the food selection was quite good. They replenish the food very frequently and the staff here were very nice and friendly. Very glad to have this open at DCA! read more

I'm so torn between giving this lounge a 3 or 4 stars. If there was a 3.5 star option, I would give it a solid 3.5. Check-In: Abysmal. I have not had a worse check-in, in my life, and I've been going to lounges since 2018, a couple of flights and visits a year. The check-in process was so clunky and I even already downloaded the QR code ahead of time. She had trouble confirming my flight, even though I had a printed out version of my boarding pass, showed her my boarding pass on the app, and then even showed her my confirmation email for my flight. The reception lacks logic and common sense. Also, there were three people at the reception, and two of them were just chilling, even though there was a line. This process took up an extra ten minutes of my time. I did like stairs that were surrounded by the greenery on the way up to the reception, however, I liked how there was a non-elevator option. Food The food was slightly above average. It was fresh, my coconut cocktail was actually excellent. But I was reading online, before I decided on the AMEX platinum, about the Centurion lounges, and they touted world renown chefs and a sit down menu with table service. There was no table service, and the food was akin to a very average, yet clean buffet. But not a 5 star buffet like a three star buffet. Even Fogo de Chao buffet was better than this, and there were no Brazilian steaks offered. Seating/Ambiance The seating was nice, but not great. I've had better from my Priority Pass lounges. Overall, not impressed, and I got the AMEX platinum originally for the lounge access. There's so many other great benefits, so I'm hoping the other lounges live up to the hype. read more
