A relaxing environment in the busy airport with buffet style food, bar, and places to relax while between flights Smaller than ATL but larger than PHL Pro tip: head to the back where more seats are open

Take a chance and ask to use this room if you're in the Centurion Lounge at DCA. You might get lucky!

This is THE lounge to visit when passing through DCA. It has the most attentive and responsive staff I've ever ever had the pleasure to encounter in an airport lounge. The facilities are, of course, top-notch. Exactly what you'd expect from the exorbitant annual card fee that gives you access to this lounge. The bar services clients quickly (no ridiculously long line even at peak times), the buffet is spotless and filled with fresh veggies and fruit, and the lounge manager/supervisor, Anetenah, is at the top of his game. I casually asked about a cordoned off area in the hopes I could write in peace, but didn't have the proper status to enter the special space. I didn't make it two steps away before Anetenah called out to me and offered to open a private family room for my personal use. This might seem like a small thing to people reading, but when a lounge is overcrowded and almost every desirable seat is occupied by a child or an animal, it can be disappointing at best, angering at worst. That is NOT the case here. I was escorted to the "Family Room," and when Anetenah unlocked the door to this private room, I felt truly grateful. It's a small, perfectly-appointed private space with a television, a small library, and plenty of outlets. I've been able to write and take work calls with no bother. And the best part? Banchi has kept an eye on me in my room and made sure I'm taken care of. She herself has grabbed me a drink and even directed a delightful young lady named Marawa (I've likely misspelled her name incorrectly, apologies!) into the room who did the same so I can continue working. The entire staff is beautiful (a lot of Somali/Eastern African folks), they clearly enjoy working with each other, and that genuine spirit of kindness is felt in how they interact with clients. This is the type of lounge experience that can fool you into believing that the annual fee you pay on that special credit card is absolutely worth it. These are the type of people, the type of employees, who make a business shine. Well done, Centurion lounge.

When friends become like family. Had a quick chance to pop into the Centurion lounge on my way to Phoenix. While I only had about 15 minutes to pop in and out, it was amazing how they made me feel. From the moment I checked in, the desk attendant was pleasant and beyond helpful with a wonderful smile and inviting personality. Checkin. It was quick and efficient, probably the best I've experienced. The food selection was great, the serving bar was clean and well stocked, and the lounge, while full, was still accommodating and welcoming. The star of the show was truly Chef Monique! Chef Mo not only remembered me, but it was beyond the superficial, she recalled my son Steven II, who had a liver transplant due to his dairy allergy and metabolic condition, She said meeting us over a year and a half ago changed how she approached food and that she always keeps in mind what she can have on hand that is vegan or non-dairy. While I did not get a chance to stay long, it is encounters like this that keep me coming back. Great job.

Had an early flight this morning and saw that it opened at 5 AM on the app however note that continental breakfast does not start until 6 AM and they only have pastries and snacks between 5 to 6 AM

Pretty good speed even in the back where the signal is weakest.

Another choice at DCA for lounge access. Always great to see new ones opening with the constant new rules and restrictions many lounges are putting on customers. Hopefully with more options there will be less of a strain to get in these lounges created by the demand with DCA being ......well DCA. Flight issues always pop up here, and it is great to have a lounge where you can get some rest to recharge before or between flights. This is especially true when coming straight from being at work all day to catch a flight. This place is very easy to miss in Terminal 2. I was right across from it and did not see it. Unlike other lounges with an obvious and larger sign pointing saying here we are this Centurion Lounge is very non-descript. Check in was easy and if you want to reserve a spot, I do believe you can do this via the Priority Pass app. This was a good size lounge. There were small conference rooms that could hold a good number of people. Some decided to use these rooms as a playground for their kids. If you come in and see that it is a bit crowded just keep walking because there is plenty of room in the back. The good thing about the extra room at the back is that it offers a nice view of the runway and Potomac. A variety of food was available. Now this is not Golden Corral so don't think it is going to have everything and put you in a food coma. Still, it will fill you up. On the day I went there a spicy pasta was being served and no surprise, it was tasty as the menu comes from the ideas of many James Beard award winners. One of the chefs is Kwame Onwuachi (Dōgon here in DC) and highly recommend his book 'Notes From a Young Black Chef". The best part of the food was the variety. I was there during lunchtime serving, and the food was in heavy rotation, so you know you were getting something fresh. As with many lounges there was a good selection of drinks designed by the numerous chefs who collaborated on this menu.

I really like the Centurion Lounge DCA, especially for early morning flights out of Reagan National. This lounge is relatively new and has quickly become my go to over the United Club at DCA, which is perfectly fine but just not on the same level. The buffet and bar options here are excellent and feel thoughtfully done. The earlier you arrive, the better your seating options, so timing definitely helps. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, which sets the tone right away. A small but notable detail is the restrooms, which are easily the best in the entire airport. Clean, modern, and well maintained. Overall, a classy lounge in an airport that keeps getting better. Highly recommended for Centurion members flying out of DCA.

Centurion Lounge DCA is located in terminal 2 past TSA. Once you clear TSA access is on the right via set of stairs or elevator to the second floor. This popular lounge at DCA gets busy and depending on the time of your visit, you might be put on a wait list. Service at checkin was friendly with the representative informing me of the art gallery displays and of the shower amenities. If you are a vegan the hot food items are perfect for you. I enjoyed the spinach watermelon salad, grilled eggplants, and the squash dishes. The chicken looked dry so I simply passed. My sweet tooth was satisfied with two scoops of ice cream happily served with a smile. Note- ice cream is served from noon till they run out. Centurion lounge DCA is an amazing lounge to visit prior to your boarding your flight.

As one other reviewer wrote: the food is average but edible. The only type of cheese at the salad bar is feta. Only two options for salad dressing. The furniture is new but closely spaced. I don't recall encountering another elevator as slow as the one here. Bartenders are courteous but not quick.

At this point I am a regular at a lot of lounges up/down USA east coast. I actually really like this centurion lounge. It's always immaculate, the people are nice and it's a nice size that even when there is a wait it's not terrible. They have a variety of food that's always tasty and a full bar. Some of the hot coffee machines tho are unreliable. A recurring issue with most lounges. To earn a 5 star there shouldn't be maintenance issues w the basic machines on such a regular basis that I've noticed (I fly a few times a month)

This is my first time in a Centurion lounge. This rating is comparing this lounge to the other lounges I usually go to (chase sapphire lounge and delta sky club). I actually went to both this Centurion lounge and the nearby delta sky club just for comparison. Honestly, I don't get what the hype is about. From food perspective, the delta sky club nearby is better quality. Food at this Centurion lounge seem like a level under delta. But in my experience, chase lounge still has the best food. From a perspective of resting before a flight, this lounge is crowded compared to delta sky club nearby. I was there at around 7pm on a Tuesday night. So if you want peacefulness in a lounge, this is inferior. Overall, this Centurion lounge would not be my first choice if I was flying out of dca. I will go to delta each time. This would be a back up if I run out of delta sky club visits on my amex card.

    Capacity

Every time I go they're at capacity with a waitlist. It makes it easier and easier to not renew this year and switch to Chase or CapOne.

My primary lounge is LaGuardia, which is a bright, shining, new multi-million dollar facility. We're talking about getting ready to open a rooftop deck, white marble everywhere, premium fixtures, and all the bells and whistles. But then I snapped myself out of it. This isn't a huge lounge, but it does have a lot of spaces by large windows, to sit and admire the views of the Capitol. There are various types of seating--individual seats, business spaces with tables, a small quiet space for people who have meetings or need to concentrate. It's not crowded, not loud. Very understated. The bartenders are nice. Basic drink service you can expect from the average club. The food offerings are a little more sparse than the newer or larger clubs. The cheese had dried out. I didn't feel confident enough to try the sandwiches, as they had mayo on them, and I didn't feel they were at the right temp for safe consumption. They had some soup, hummus, and a couple meat dishes. The staff were very nice and attentive, keeping tables cleared and making sure we were taken care of. So is it mind blowing? Nah. But it's a quiet spot to get away from the terminal, with nice folks and some cocktails. The food could use a little work, but it was later in the day, so maybe they were winding that service down.

Wait times are long as they sometimes cannot keep up with demands and limited seating areas. Sign in at the desk and you'll get a text when they have space. I waited 45 minutes. The check in area feels cramped with two podiums and way too many checkin staff crowded at the front. Once you get a text, you have 10 minutes to arrive or you may have to sign up again. Once checked in, you have an assigned seat based on size of your party. So you won't have a choice on preferred seating section. Once seated, scan the QR code on the table where you may place an order for any menu items including drinks. They also have an area with quick item snacks like cheese & crackers, hummus, veggies, meats and you can obtain your dessert items here. They offer fancy teas from Art of Tea and coffee. Paper cups available if you want to take a drink to go on your way out. Soft drinks & water available in the mini fridge. I tried the vegetarian and vegan options. The lentil soup was good and filling. Three cheese grill cheese is good but a bit too much cheese making it heavy. Also tried a rice with tofu & avocado. This was okay. Needed a sauce or some added flavor. My guava mocktail was refreshing. Hummus & veggies were good. The soft serve with cocoa nibs & sea salt was good. Comes in a cute smiling cup. There are no to-go items or take away options. So plan on staying seated to dine. There is free WiFi, charging stations at your seat, and single restroom available. I hope they add more healthy options. *** Tip - if there is a long wait time and you can't get in, they have a small cafe of quick items for sale. With a Cap One credit card, all items are half off! I got the vegan chickpea salad and a Pressed juice for roughly $12? Good deal at the airport! Coffee, croissants, and some of the items from the lounge are also sold here.

The lounges that I've been to have been because of travel companions. The Amex Lounge was no different! My sweet friend booked breakfast in Arlington, the Pentagon area that is what he said. I thought our weekend was starting off odd. But I don't complain and go with the flow, so if you like it, I love it. Or maybe the TIPS trainings have advanced to include messy brunch people) was fun, patient, and knowledgeable. This is THE SPOT for brunch on Sunday.

I visited Makers Union Pentagon City for a 4:45pm Thursday reservation for four. I arrived on time…read moreand was seated outside on the patio. Unfortunately, service started off on the wrong foot. There was a very large party already on the patio, and I was seated behind them. I waited about 12-15 minutes before the rest of my group arrived, but no server ever came by. We decided to head inside to get re‑seated, but couldn't find a hostess anywhere. We eventually flagged down a random server in the bar area and asked if a four‑top could be cleared so we could sit there instead. Thankfully, once we moved inside, everything improved dramatically. Service from that point on was attentive and friendly. The "Peoples Hour" menu was a highlight--great pricing without feeling "cheap." Appetizers were $6-10, cocktails $6-8, wines $6, and beers $6.50. The Down & Dirty (a vodka martini variation without vermouth) was solid, and the Out of the Office...Forever rum punch was decent. For food, we tried several items: - Makers Mini Nachos with steak -- Generous toppings but the chips got soggy quickly under all the queso, sour cream, and guac, which is not necessarily a bad thing. - Taco-bout Fish -- Crispy cod with a lemon aioli; one of the better bites of the night. - Drop It Like It's Hot -- Really good chicken tenders with a spicy Comeback sauce. - Lil B sliders -- Nicely cooked and not overdone; the Comeback sauce added a nice kick. The space has an upscale sports‑bar vibe with TVs above and around the bar. Seating can feel tight when it's busy, and the noise level definitely climbs, so keep that in mind if you're looking for a quieter meal. Despite the rocky start, the rest of the evening was enjoyable. Good food, great happy hour pricing, and solid service once we were settled inside. I'd return--just probably not to the patio during a big party.
