Conveniently located after the TSA precheck security check, which is awesome The staff is amazingly friendly and attentive. The food selection is probably the best for an airport. All the dishes are flavorful and distinct. For breakfast the coconut parfait is a must try. They also have a parent room, which is absolutely perfect for taking care of kids. It's stocked with diapers and a sitting area to feed the baby. It's really a great plus.

Great lounge if you're a cardholder. I'm not a big fan of the $40 per person fee for non-cardholders, but overall it's a great lounge with excellent food and drinks.

The Capital One lounge Dulles has some very tasty tapas. The lounge located just inside security is tight and oddly designed, but worth a visit for the food and drink. The ravioli looked great but was bland. However, the bean stew was very flavorful. The Capital One lounges do a great job with their drinks and service was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this lounge when visiting Dulles.

I do feel like the quality at the cap one lounge has really gone down a lot in the past few years. We went from getting a couple free visits a year to now you have to pay even if you're a cardholder. Also did you know they won't let you check in more than 3 hours before your flight time? Learned that the hard way. The food has been okay and I do appreciate that they have different vegan options and options for those with dietary restrictions, but it has felt like it's not been worth it for a while.

Great cocktails and coffee! The only food I had was the chocolate chip cookies and those were delicious!

Love the cocktail options capital one lounge offers. The food is always different as they rotate their items seasonally. Spacious and usually no wait when I get to the airport.

Gosh! This lounge is the epitome of luxury for "normal peeps" like me. Free food and drinks and quality service. Yes, the "grab and go" bar is the best if you are one of those "I like to have takeout items", just in case!

I love this lounge! Capital one has truly struck gold with this lounge. This lounge is almost hidden and think they could benefit from better signage but take a step in a be greeted with their great coffee bar. This is a lounge where you can enjoy small bites along with great craft cocktails. Do not expect a big buffet meal like other lounges but small plates that you can grab. Think it's definitely worth stopping by especially on a short layover or a long one where you can pair with another lounge like we did. The small bites are really great and the cocktails are even better. I do however not like their policy against nonrevenue passengers with confirmed flight.

My first time at this lounge, and definitely not my last. I highly recommend using the app to join the waitlist, since waits can stretch to an hour during peak travel times (it was about 45 minutes around 5 p.m. on a Friday). The atmosphere: The lounge is spacious, with table, bar, and couch seating. There are also small work rooms if you prefer a quieter, more private setup. The food: Tons of options, including coffee, juices, soda, and alcoholic beverages. There are plenty of tapas-style dishes (hot and cold), plus a great dessert selection. I loved the thin, crispy cookies. There are to-go bags available, and I recommend grabbing a few for your flight. The service: The staff was wonderful across the board, friendly, helpful, and happy to answer all my questions.

I now consider this my home lounge. The capital one landing in DCA is close, but this one takes the cake. Always a great experience here, plenty of food from hearty items to sweets. Coffee and espresso bar if that's your vibe. Get the bee drink! Does it taste good? Up to you. Does it look freakin awesome? Absolutely yes. I usually find myself scavenging the food and downing a couple mimosas or espresso martinis. Before you head you make sure you stop by the grab and go. I'm attaching an assortment of photos taken from my times here (including DA BEEEE).

7.25.25 My childhood friends, who are siblings, and I traveled to Japan recently. One of them has a travel credit card so his sister and I got a discounted rate ($46, half off regular price) to access the lounge. Finding the lounge was tricky. I think they make it intentionally challenging to limit the number of people. Lol. The amenities of the lounge included unlimited access to the buffet and prepackaged refreshments, private restrooms, bar, and lounge area. It was a great way to chill and relax before a long flight. I would definitely do it again for $46, but not for $92.

Came in during the morning before my flight, little to no wait time, but we were quite a bit early and they are strict on the 3 hour. You must wait until you are no less than 3 hours from departure. It kind of defeats the purpose of a lounge as a rest stop for long layovers. I liked the sweet potato with kale. Quiche was a bit dry. Lox was also good. Lovely and pretty parfait. French toast was bland. Drinks are great and my favorite is the cherry blossom margarita. They have definitely improved on the aesthetics. The cups are so cute! Nice cleaning staff.

This one is with fewer seats than other lounges, but the bars are great. Yes, bars - a bar bar with cute ice spheres, and a coffee bar. The food selection is much smaller, but it's ok. So glad to have crossed this last one off :)

Many people were ordering the Aperol Spritz drink special, so it seemed to be a crowd favorite. Overall, I enjoyed both my meal and the service. The lounge was definitely packed for a Thursday afternoon, although the many weather related flight delays likely contributed to the crowds. I was able to find a seat at the bar within a few minutes of arriving, but I noticed several people waiting around for a while hoping to find an open seat. Despite it being busy, it was a nice way to spend a long layover.

I also like how much flexibility you have when you're ordering on the QR code. When we arrived, the lounge was at capacity and so we were placed on a short waitlist and we were off within 10 minutes. Because of its capacity, they do direct you where you should sit, which was OK since I was traveling with just my parents. The lounge is split into two floors with really good ambience though like mentioned earlier they do try to fit as many guests as possible so we can feel a bit crowded!

Upon seeing my boarding pass, the staff informed me that we qualify to visit the Polaris Lounge instead, a 5 to 8 minutes' walk away, near Gate C17. I asked which will be less crowded. She said they are both crowded, but the Polaris is much nicer. We decided to hoof it over to the Polaris since it's supposed to be a big deal, ignoring the fact that we probably have 45 minutes only to stay there. She wasn't kidding. The place was packed. It was very difficult to get a pair of seats, and we basically were stalkers waiting for folks to leave. Meanwhile, we were sweating from the walk and from the many people inside the lounge. After finally having seats, we looked at the food and drinks selection. I have to admit the food selection is impressive. They have a dining section that is full table service. Then there is a buffet section with good selection of proteins and produce in addition to the usual snacks. I was too hot to be hungry by then and chose only several cocktail prawns plus a few asparagus stalks. After a cold soda with ice from the bar, it was time to leave. There was also a line to wait for the bathroom. Next time, we won't fancy a Polaris Lounge when we don't have the time to stay.

It's big the club, but one location for food options which is quite tiny. I never knew you could get a bagel made for a child. I'm very confident this was sitting somewhere for a bit of time because without toasting it, you would bust some teeth. It was hard. That scream not even in this realm fresh. I'm wagering that other bread items, oh for those seeking danish or muffins, not a chance that's available. On the coffee side why does United ignore a growing segment of the population that either has a dairy allergy, lactose intolerant or vegan? Ever heard of almond, oat or soy milk? What about those little french vanilla cup things? Clearly who ever oversees this club must be the same dolt who oversees the one in Phoenix because they follow the similar path of cream, 50-50 or whole milk. You do get a sippy like plastic cup for the kiddos, oh I mean for adults to drink your soda out of the machine. Finally with all the germ rise and an increase in norovirus and ongoing yuckiness, how about sanitizer like so many biz lounges have everywhere even on the wall? Don't fret though. Because if you love oranges you are in luck. They also use them for decoration.
