Limited food and limited included drink options. But what they had was decent and at least we were able to get in. Place was clean and staff friendly enough. Bathrooms were clean and the place was fairly quiet if not a little tight.

The service here was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. That's definitely the highlight! I was in around breakfast and food was solidly mediocre. I chose the free options available made to order, an egg and cheese sandwich and tomato soup (which was certainly Campbell's). I happen to appreciate both those, but it certainly wasn't what I was expecting. Bar appeared to be cash, showers available for cash ($15). I went to the shower after 24 hours of flight. The shampoo and conditioner available were decent if you didn't pack your own, and linens clean. No hair dryer or other amenities available as far as I could tell. Worth it after the long flight, but probably could've used a bit more amenities for the price, considering typically they are included with lounge admission. Overall, I probably won't be returning to this lounge unless I really wanna take advantage of the shower, which the other Priority Pass lounges in that terminal do not have.

Part of the Priority Pass lounges, we stopped by while waiting for our flight. Small, but a decent lounge with a full bar, more quiet than the other lounges we peeked into nearby (Ethiad and KLM). They have a few snacks out and a few hot dishes you can order with the QR code and they will bring them out for you. Service was quick and fast with the food delivery and clean up. 5/5 for that!

Oh my, I have been in a lot of lounges and this one takes the cake--for all the wrong reasons. Let's start with the "complimentary" drinks: the only beer option was Pabst Blue Ribbon. That's it. Wine? A mystery red and a forgettable chardonnay. No cocktails, no variety, nothing that says "premium experience." The poor bartender has to tell everyone that orders that there is a cost for what they requested and then gives the short list for complimentary beverages. Food? They offer some mini sandwiches, pasta salad and kale salad. You can order from a menu, but there are only eight two-seater tables in the whole place. So unless you time it perfectly, you'll be juggling your plate on your lap or standing awkwardly in a corner. The lounge itself felt tired and worn out. The furniture looked like it had seen better decades, and the overall vibe was more DMV waiting room than airport oasis. Bottom line: this was hands-down the worst lounge I've visited, especially considering the size and status of the airport. If you have other options, take them.

Clean, nice "exclusive" perk offering private restrooms, seating, and bar away from hustle of Dulles terminal A -- all with natural light and views outside. Some complimentary refreshments rotate during meal times and are a plus. Chips, pretzels, oranges, bananas, cookies, coffee, water,, Kale salad, turkey sandwich, and pasta salad all on the house during my visit. Downsides are lack of charging stations and spots for larger groups/families.

Very relaxing, plenty of spacious seating, free light food options, menu to order food and drink (pay), various spirits and relaxing music. Very relaxing with friendly staff. They change over from breakfast to brunch at 11am.

These foods and tea were free.

I was introduced to this lounge when I used All Nippon Airways to go back to Japan. The lounge was spacious and there were a lot of outlets for charging. The staff was kind and I was able to relax before departure.

This lounge has the most comfortable seats of all the lounges. I like the ones with a footrest that lean back. The food seemed sparse and the accommodations are fairly simple, but it wasn't crowded when I was there. Clean shower area and the entire lounge was quieter than some of the others. If I am hungry, this won't be a go-to, but it's a great option to have.

Lounge now open to Priority Pass members before 2pm. Conveniently located near the underground walkway between the main Terminal and the A and B gates. Decent amount of seating especially as it was not over crowded like the Turkish Lounge. Breakfast served until 11AM when they switch to the Lunch menu. Breakfast featured various pastries, oat meal, and miso soup on order. Lunch had 2 different salads and 2 different sandwiches. You can also order the hot soup, pita and hummus from the menu. Unique items not in other IAD lounges: physical newspapers including the Washington Post, USA Today, Financial Times Bathrooms were clean and there was even a shower room. The gal at the check in was not the friendliest but everybody else was very nice.

So I've always been fond of Virgin clubhouse lounge. They offer a la carte service and their food is usually pretty good. Today I got the chance to try their shrimp cocktail, tomato bisque, and Thai chicken curry rice. Very good no complaints.

Many people were ordering the Aperol Spritz drink special, so it seemed to be a crowd favorite. Overall, I enjoyed both my meal and the service. The lounge was definitely packed for a Thursday afternoon, although the many weather related flight delays likely contributed to the crowds. I was able to find a seat at the bar within a few minutes of arriving, but I noticed several people waiting around for a while hoping to find an open seat. Despite it being busy, it was a nice way to spend a long layover.

I also like how much flexibility you have when you're ordering on the QR code. When we arrived, the lounge was at capacity and so we were placed on a short waitlist and we were off within 10 minutes. Because of its capacity, they do direct you where you should sit, which was OK since I was traveling with just my parents. The lounge is split into two floors with really good ambience though like mentioned earlier they do try to fit as many guests as possible so we can feel a bit crowded!

Checked out the sit down restaurant which was empty when I sat down and filled up quickly as the hour got later. Had a crab salad with large lump crab minimally adorned and a burger with the works. Upon seeing my boarding pass, the staff informed me that we qualify to visit the Polaris Lounge instead, a 5 to 8 minutes' walk away, near Gate C17. I asked which will be less crowded. She said they are both crowded, but the Polaris is much nicer. We decided to hoof it over to the Polaris since it's supposed to be a big deal, ignoring the fact that we probably have 45 minutes only to stay there. She wasn't kidding. The place was packed. It was very difficult to get a pair of seats, and we basically were stalkers waiting for folks to leave. Meanwhile, we were sweating from the walk and from the many people inside the lounge. After finally having seats, we looked at the food and drinks selection. I have to admit the food selection is impressive. They have a dining section that is full table service. Then there is a buffet section with good selection of proteins and produce in addition to the usual snacks. I was too hot to be hungry by then and chose only several cocktail prawns plus a few asparagus stalks. After a cold soda with ice from the bar, it was time to leave. There was also a line to wait for the bathroom. Next time, we won't fancy a Polaris Lounge when we don't have the time to stay.

It's big the club, but one location for food options which is quite tiny. I never knew you could get a bagel made for a child. I'm very confident this was sitting somewhere for a bit of time because without toasting it, you would bust some teeth. It was hard. That scream not even in this realm fresh. I'm wagering that other bread items, oh for those seeking danish or muffins, not a chance that's available. On the coffee side why does United ignore a growing segment of the population that either has a dairy allergy, lactose intolerant or vegan? Ever heard of almond, oat or soy milk? What about those little french vanilla cup things? Clearly who ever oversees this club must be the same dolt who oversees the one in Phoenix because they follow the similar path of cream, 50-50 or whole milk. You do get a sippy like plastic cup for the kiddos, oh I mean for adults to drink your soda out of the machine. Finally with all the germ rise and an increase in norovirus and ongoing yuckiness, how about sanitizer like so many biz lounges have everywhere even on the wall? Don't fret though. Because if you love oranges you are in luck. They also use them for decoration.
