Average food for breakfast, excellent service at the bar and staff overall are friendly and efficient. The bartender was mixing up colorful drinks for the holiday and genuinely was proud of her creations! Highly recommend having a special drink if you get the opportunity! The ambiance was typical of a lounge and surprisingly not over crowded. Ample places to plug in your devices and rest before your flight.

A great place to wait for your flight if you have some time. This was my first time visiting the Delta SkyMiles Club at Reagan National and I was really glad I tried it. The lounge is right above the B gate entrance, so it's easy to get to and you get a good view of the concourse below. Inside it felt calm and open. WIth one whole wall of windows onto the concourse. The colors are Delta Dark blue, light blue and grey for the seating and carpeting and wood siding. There were a lot of different seating options whether you're by yourself or with a group. The staff were friendly and professional, which made the visit feel welcoming right away. There's a food bar and drink bar, plus a self-serve area with soft drinks and cookies, which I thought was a nice touch. The food options had a fair salad bar with some good protein options (chicken and pork). A guest treated me to this. It was $50 for the pass, which seems to be the standard, and it worked out fine for us. They have a wifi network and provide the password as you enter. There are screens with flight times on several walls and television stations playing. Overall it was a comfortable break from waiting at the gate, and a much nicer way to pass the time before boarding.

Had a tough time getting in even though I qualified for admittance (checked Delta's own Sky Club admittance policy carefully before heading up the elevator). But it's not the entrance hostesses' fault--Delta has such convoluted and ever-changing policies for their lounge / club access. Basically they just want you to get their purple Delta Reserve American Express, which is not a good deal itself as it has so many of its own restrictions and is all but useless for international lounges. Anyways I had a First Class ticket (even higher than "Premium Select"), I am a Gold Medallion, *and* I'm traveling on an international itinerary. Yes you need all three of these to qualify for admittance if you don't have that damn purple card. Confusing as heck. The hostess wouldn't let me in because even her system wasn't checking all the boxes properly. Supervisor came over and showed her where to click to show the "international" on a "code share" connecting flight. Sheesh! Not a fun experience to argue your qualification to enter the lounge. Overall a solid 4-star lounge. Food was decently good, quiet and professional ambiance. Not a ZOO like other lounges.

Nice club in DCA. Headed to RDU this round so stopped in for a bite before the flight. Pretty large club. Checkin was easy. Got a Jameson to start and ended with a nicely made old fashioned. Good bar was good with a nice selection. Good vibe, service and ambience Stop in before your delta flight.

Breakfast buffet items. Coconut chia seed pudding was delicious!

Clean & spacious. Friendly service, and great complimentary food & drinks. Breakfast buffet - was able to make a breakfast sandwich using the pre-made cheddar omelette and chicken maple sausage patty, rosemary fingerling potatoes on the side. Plenty of other options. Coconut chia seed pudding was delicious!

I upgraded my AMEX to the Delta Reserve Boeing limited edition for two reasons: so I could get better upgrades and access to the Delta Sky Lounge. Pay your bill at the end of the month because the interest is no joke. I am at the location at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. This is one comfortable swanky location. The food was so-so but I am here late. I had some penne pasta and a prosciutto slider. They had soup and cold cuts so I topped my plate with a slice of ham and salami. There is also a selection of desserts and an open bar with a full selection of free choices. High end and mixed drinks have a small fee or you can pay with miles. The bottom line is if you don't have an Delta AMEX, then buy the annual membership if you are flying more than 4 times a year. I am flying 8 times this year so this is worth it. First off, the lounge is comfy with padded couches and seats, free high speed wifi and outlets to charge your electronics. There is a business center for printing too. This is my second time here and I like this one better than the one in Boston at Logan. It's smaller but it's empty. You will see in my pics no one is here. Also, this delta lounge sits on the runway and has LARGE windows so I can watch planes fly off the runway. It never gets old. This is so much better than waiting at the gate. There are lounges all over the country. Well worth the annual fee. By the way, the poster that reviewed this place because of entrance requirements is correct. The entrance requirements are limited and stringent. They make no exceptions. So read the site to make sure your understand under what conditions you can enter.

I went in around 10am as I got to the airport a bit early. My flight was 12:30pm. They were serving breakfast so decided to get some food. Breakfast food was good with egg white omelet and greek yogurt, sausage links and other options. Then around 11:30am, they changed to lunch menu. Lunch menu included sliders, assorted cheeses, pasta, etc. which were very different from the breakfast menu and all were good quality dishes. Not sure if I will come back to DC but it's worth the visit to use the lounge if you have some time to spare.

Came to this sky lounge when leaving DC. The lounge was very clean and the staff was polite. However, the breakfast selection could've been a bit better. I was looking forward to the smoked salmon spread but didnt see it out. I would still come back but I hope to see the spread.

We always like a little champagne with our breakfast!

We come here every time we fly out of DCA. What's not to love. The employees are always welcoming and friendly. I love that the airport is small and you don't have to walk 2 miles to your gate! The food is always decent. You know you're not at a 5 star restaurant so I love the options available. They have fresh Starbucks coffee, flavored water, fruits and snacks and drinks (which is what excites me anyway!). I can truly say I've never had a bad experience here and I have probably been here about 100 times; so I think that counts for something. It's always the same great Delta standard hospitality The ambiance is cool.

Sitting in the perfect spot to watch my plane come in. It's lovely here.
Tracy B.

I love the DCA sky lounge. It is upscale, spacious, and the bathrooms are inviting and clean. The culinary options are inviting and varied. More veggies are always appreciated, and their selection is solid. Today I say and watched my plane come into the gate. It was a perfect, pleasant, and smooth transition onto the plane.

My primary lounge is LaGuardia, which is a bright, shining, new multi-million dollar facility. We're talking about getting ready to open a rooftop deck, white marble everywhere, premium fixtures, and all the bells and whistles. But then I snapped myself out of it. This isn't a huge lounge, but it does have a lot of spaces by large windows, to sit and admire the views of the Capitol. There are various types of seating--individual seats, business spaces with tables, a small quiet space for people who have meetings or need to concentrate. It's not crowded, not loud. Very understated. The bartenders are nice. Basic drink service you can expect from the average club. The food offerings are a little more sparse than the newer or larger clubs. The cheese had dried out. I didn't feel confident enough to try the sandwiches, as they had mayo on them, and I didn't feel they were at the right temp for safe consumption. They had some soup, hummus, and a couple meat dishes. The staff were very nice and attentive, keeping tables cleared and making sure we were taken care of. So is it mind blowing? Nah. But it's a quiet spot to get away from the terminal, with nice folks and some cocktails. The food could use a little work, but it was later in the day, so maybe they were winding that service down.

I do wish the food and seating options were more available, but the options existing are nice enough to have a positive experience. -- Food: +1 Presentation: E Price: E Atmosphere: +1 Service: E Menu: E Overall: +2 B Insta/Beli: @amei_eats

For early morning flyers, they offer a continental breakfast from 5-6am, but be aware that the hot breakfast buffet doesn't get fully set up until about 15-30 minutes after that window. The biggest downside for me is AMEX's updated pet policy--only service animals are allowed now. The lounge has always been my go‑to when flying out of DCA, but since I often travel with my pets, I've had to switch to other lounge options because of this change. On the plus side, charging outlets are plentiful and easy to access at almost every seat, except in the dining area. Staff members are consistently quick about clearing dishes, which keeps the space feeling clean and comfortable. The restrooms are modern, spotless, and well maintained every time I visit. A small tip: the elevator is *very* slow, so if you're able, take the stairs--it's much faster. Overall, it's still a good lounge with solid amenities and a relaxing atmosphere--when it isn't crowded. If not for the updated pet policy, it would be a five-star experience for me.

On my most recent visit, I was able to enjoy the breakfast. They had a good variety: pastries, yogurt, juice, eggs, potatoes, homefries, oatmeal, etc. Also, service at the bar was speedy and friendly. I did have to hunt for a seat, but lucked out and got one of the honeycomb-style single cubicles in the back. Also, in spite of the lounge being very busy, there was no wait for the shower. The shower was a waterfall style showerhead and also had an accessible showerhead too. Also, they were able to hook me up with a toothbrush and toothpaste. If this lounge wasn't so overcrowded, it would be an easy 5 . Overall, worth popping into if you have access.

You may only use this space for 3 hours prior to flight departure. Not for any arriving flights. Complimentary access for Capital One card owners. Entry fee for non card holders (maybe $90?). Wait times are long as they sometimes cannot keep up with demands and limited seating areas. Sign in at the desk and you'll get a text when they have space. I waited 45 minutes. The check in area feels cramped with two podiums and way too many checkin staff crowded at the front. Once you get a text, you have 10 minutes to arrive or you may have to sign up again. Once checked in, you have an assigned seat based on size of your party. So you won't have a choice on preferred seating section. Once seated, scan the QR code on the table where you may place an order for any menu items including drinks. They also have an area with quick item snacks like cheese & crackers, hummus, veggies, meats and you can obtain your dessert items here. They offer fancy teas from Art of Tea and coffee. Paper cups available if you want to take a drink to go on your way out. Soft drinks & water available in the mini fridge. I tried the vegetarian and vegan options. The lentil soup was good and filling. Three cheese grill cheese is good but a bit too much cheese making it heavy. Also tried a rice with tofu & avocado. This was okay. Needed a sauce or some added flavor. My guava mocktail was refreshing. Hummus & veggies were good. The soft serve with cocoa nibs & sea salt was good. Comes in a cute smiling cup. There are no to-go items or take away options. So plan on staying seated to dine. There is free WiFi, charging stations at your seat, and single restroom available. I hope they add more healthy options. *** Tip - if there is a long wait time and you can't get in, they have a small cafe of quick items for sale. With a Cap One credit card, all items are half off! I got the vegan chickpea salad and a Pressed juice for roughly $12? Good deal at the airport! Coffee, croissants, and some of the items from the lounge are also sold here.

Dear reader, The…read moreCenturion Lounge at DCA is a very civilised way to begin a trip and, in my view, one of the more enjoyable airport lounges to spend time in. A number of recent reviews praise the lounge for its attractive design, comfortable seating, strong food and drink program, and thoughtful amenities, and that all feels quite fair. It is in Terminal 2 near the south security checkpoint, and the lounge's own materials describe it as a spacious, elegant place to relax, refresh, and have a cocktail before a flight. What I especially love are the wellness shots, the coffee machines, and the open bar. Those little wellness shots feel like the sort of optimistic airport decision one ought to make before boarding, and the coffee setup is genuinely excellent if one needs to become a person again before takeoff. The bar is also a very strong point in its favour. American Express highlights its curated cocktail, wine, and non-alcoholic drink selection, and that polish absolutely comes through. Everyone is also very nice, which makes a difference. Add in the comfortable atmosphere and the feeling that you can actually pause for a moment before flying, and it all makes for a thoroughly pleasant pre-flight ritual. A proper little oasis at DCA.

The lounges that I've been to have been because of travel companions. The Amex Lounge was no different! My sweet friend booked breakfast in Arlington, the Pentagon area that is what he said. When my uber picked me up, the app said I was heading to the Amex Lounge at the airport. I laughed because I thought I was eating at the airport and airport food isn't always the best. I thought our weekend was starting off odd. But I don't complain and go with the flow, so if you like it, I love it. I had my bags because we always do staycations, so with my bag in tow he meets me at the uber upon drop-off and says our dinner reservations are in Florida, hope you don't mind that's why I had you pack your bags. What a surprise. He says we have time to go to the Amex lounge to grab breakfast before we take off. I am speechless, literally speechless. We grab our tickets and head straight to the lounge. Wow! Okay so I've been to the Capital One Lounge and that was great but honestly AMEX is killing it! The food was actually really good! Bar is awesome! Everything was clean! It's newer so it's phenomenal! I've been told I need lounge access for as much as I travel. I immediately got on my phone to search to get the AMEX card, that's how nice this place was. Luckily he asked what I was doing on my phone. I said I need to be able to come here all year long so I'm going to throw the flag in and get a card. He laughed and said it would be easier just to add me to his account. And just like that, I'm a AMEX card holder! The card came in 3 business days. I'll be coming to this airport early! And will be looking forward to traveling this year to visit all the AMEX lounges. Amex is the way to go! Oh and a little life hack, our plan never works. Gods plan does! Grateful.

There was a very large party already on the patio, and I was seated behind them. I waited about 12-15 minutes before the rest of my group arrived, but no server ever came by. We decided to head inside to get re‑seated, but couldn't find a hostess anywhere. We eventually flagged down a random server in the bar area and asked if a four‑top could be cleared so we could sit there instead. Thankfully, once we moved inside, everything improved dramatically. Service from that point on was attentive and friendly. The "Peoples Hour" menu was a highlight--great pricing without feeling "cheap." Appetizers were $6-10, cocktails $6-8, wines $6, and beers $6.50. The Down & Dirty (a vodka martini variation without vermouth) was solid, and the Out of the Office...Forever rum punch was decent. For food, we tried several items: - Makers Mini Nachos with steak -- Generous toppings but the chips got soggy quickly under all the queso, sour cream, and guac, which is not necessarily a bad thing. - Taco-bout Fish -- Crispy cod with a lemon aioli; one of the better bites of the night. - Drop It Like It's Hot -- Really good chicken tenders with a spicy Comeback sauce. - Lil B sliders -- Nicely cooked and not overdone; the Comeback sauce added a nice kick. The space has an upscale sports‑bar vibe with TVs above and around the bar. Seating can feel tight when it's busy, and the noise level definitely climbs, so keep that in mind if you're looking for a quieter meal. Despite the rocky start, the rest of the evening was enjoyable. Good food, great happy hour pricing, and solid service once we were settled inside. I'd return--just probably not to the patio during a big party.
