Located around gate B10, this is a smaller lounge and surprising knowing how busy this airport can get. Luckily, on a Wednesday mid-day, we practically had the place to ourselves. Soup of the day (Tomato Bisque) salad Bar, mini sandwiches and dessert-Full Bar and only Drip coffee which was unfortunately warm and not fresh. Light fare of Cheese, Salami, chicken and corn with Bacon bits was ok. Mostly single Lounge chairs with a handful of tables next to the Bar. Charging outlets are available throughout. Service was friendly and plates were cleared in a timely manner. I liked the bright interior given the large windows. read more

This lounge was located close to B11 - Terminal 2, second floor. If you take the stairs, they have to buzz you in, so I would suggest taking the slow elevators up. You need to show and scan your ticket to gain access to the lounge, the entire room is like a circle with chairs. There are a small bar to your left and snacks and water to the side. It is a small area and looks like it could fit 50 people. Sure not as advance or modern like the Delta Sky lounge or Amex Lounges in the same terminal. This is better than sitting in common area by the gates. read more

Smallish type lounge at the end of the terminal. Quaint and a historical mark as their photo inside reads inside. They wanted to keep the ambiance of the original lounge. It is still there. Location: Terminal 2, across from gate 11. Take the elevator to level 2 Staff: Friendly and welcoming Lounge: Fairly small. There is one main room when you walk in and another smaller room down the hall from the food. There are seats with charging ports and tables to eat at. The bathrooms are near the elevator and are also small but kept clean. Food: Was here for breakfast and selections were minimal. There was scrambled eggs and a tortilla filled with egg and cheese which was not very warm even though it was kept in a warmer. There was oatmeal and muffins and some bread/bagels and also fruit. They serve juice and have a coffee machine. There is also a full bar. Overall, better to relax here before a flight than sit in outdated Terminal 2. read more

This is one of the smaller United Clubs that has not been updated. That said this one sends positive vibes with its 1950s retro feel. It is like stepping back in time. Additionally, it has some great airport runway views. The food is the usual and it has the basics. It also has a bar if you need something frothy. As you can see from my last review in June 2023 I have been here many times mostly on business through 2019. Since 2021 I have been here only on personal trips. This time I was here to fly on United to visit my daughter's family in Chicago to celebrate the Christmas holiday. My United flight was out of Gate B14. The United Club is located at the far end of the B gates to the right with a staircase and elevator up to the United Club. As I previously mentioned in June 2023 this historic club was nicely renovated. The food and the service here is consistently good. I enjoyed my usual cheeses with proseccos. Still a 3 but actually rounding it up one star to a 4 based on speaking with the Sodexo MOD who answered questions why they can't remodel this club due to it being a historical site regarding the main entrance after checking in which it was a restaurant called the Terrace Room. Therefore it would take an Act of Congress to make that change as well as other local governmental entities and don't forget environmental as well. I also asked about protein food items not being held under cold holding on the service area and since the food on the self serve turns over fast any leftover food is discarded after 4 hours from when it is removed from the original temperature control unit prior to be putting out on the self serve area. Just wanted to make sure they were following the food safety guidelines since I deal with quality assurance regarding food. I had a long wait before my flight departed so every staff member was either cleaning or removing dirty small wares or leftovers as well as constantly maintaining the cleanliness of the bathrooms - sorry can only speak for the He, Him, It restrooms. This is a smaller UA Club and is limited as to what they can provide (i.e. they have no kitchen) and not updated but what makes up for their areas for opportunities is that the had a great staff working on the day that I was there . read more

I'm not sure how we even got to an average of 3 stars here... Having just experienced the AWESOME United Club at EWR.. I was extremely disappointed. The bar was extremely small and limited.. no bubby for a mimosa.. almost everything I asked for was not available... terrible bloody mary... I opted for a glass of white wine. Food options were not good... I skipped over most of it.. the best experience was the Chex mix and the gummy bears. And yes, the place could use some restoration... very outdated feel. Wish I'd saved my pass for another time! read more

Ok...I was truly expecting a nice lounge here..truly disappointed. Very outdated, and the food selection is not great. My sausage was cold, and there wasn't much food. The bathroom only has 3 stalls, completely outdated, and dirty. If you are not a United member, I suggest you don't pay the 60 bucks unless your layover is extremely long. Decent location in one of United's non-hub sites. Food items are your standard club options; hummus, crudité, soup, cheese and crackers, etc. Full service bar but not seats there. A tiny but pleasant United Club in the older part of DCA near Gate 11. Overall, it is a standard modern United Club, but with a pleasant layout. Especially the backside (past the buffett) is a little quieter with plenty of power plugs. This was my first time coming to this lounge today. The lounge is located in terminal B across from gate 11. You can either take the steps or the elevator. Once you come up to the front desk you are nicely greeted. I told the nice lady it was my first time here and she gave me all the information and where everything was located. She also told me they have free WiFi which I didn't realize they had which was a nice surprise. I came during lunch time and they had a chicken tequila fiesta soup. It was really good, I had 2 bowls of it lol. They also had crackers and cubed cheese among other items. I got a dirty martini which is pictured and part of the complementary offerings but they also have premium drinks for purchase. It was delish and the 2 bartenders were really nice. I like the fact they were constantly cleaning up and also replenishing items if necessary. The lounge is about medium size and love how modern it looks. They had plenty of seating and you just feel so comfortable just relaxing in the lounge. I am glad I am a United club remember and hope to visit other locations soon! read more

I'd been to this club before the world shut down, and it was worn, disorganized, poorly staffed and poorly apportioned. With travel increasing again, I found myself there again, and - despite what the hours are noted on Yelp, it is indeed open - it had been refreshed, new furniture, still with the other room past the buffet, and now with two phone rooms, which in my case weren't needed since it was so quiet there for a late AM flight. The restrooms near the entryway were clean as well. While the buffet wasn't as extensive as IAD, it was still good with staff constantly checking and resupplying items which were lacking. It was a welcome surprise given my expectations from the past. Interestingly, the outlets were much more frequent in the back area rather than the main, but otherwise still quite reasonable. read more

I liked this particular United Club. When you walk in, it looks small but if you go past the food area, they have another room. It's like a secret room. I like the shape of the main room as well as retro picture of air plane hanged on the wall. What I liked the best was a few different types of naturally flavored water. I tried all of them and lemon thyme was my favorite. What a great way to hydrate before the flight. Wifi speed was normal. Didn't have any issues while writing Yelp reviews. The UAL Red Carpet Club at Ronald Regan Washington National Airport is located immediately beyond the TSA screening area. There are shiny silver elevators that will take you up to third floor to access the lounge. I totally DIG the design of this RCC because it has stylin' furnishings and a TRULY EXCELLENT STAFF! Major Kudos to the gentleman with glasses who works here who was awesomely helpful both when I arrived and also when I departed from this airport! The large plane windows at this RCC have a magnificent view of the gates/terminals and you can actually see the plane that you are waiting for arrive while you are sitting in one of the chairs at this lounge. Like everything else at this airport, this place is flawlessly clean and the maintainence staff is helpful and amiable. There is an excellent refreshment bar, loads of free reading material, and fantastically spacious lounge areas where you can sit down and truly relax before or after your flight. Brilliant furnishings, friendly and highly skilled customer service agents, and way tasty drinks and snacks are what make the UAL Red Carpet Club at Washington National Airport one of my hands down favorites! read more

Ever since I discovered airline lounges, I have been in love with them. There is a sign by gate 11 pointing to where it is at. There is an elevator and stairs to access it. If you take the stairs, press the button and they will let you in. This United Club is very relaxing and is updated with a good spread of food and beverage. This lounge is tucked away in the United departures area. I was extremely tired as I was out late the night before for a morning flight. I always tell myself that I will never do that, but it happens anyways. The lounge was quiet at 6 AM, and there was a good spread of water options, an espresso machine, and a good variety of breakfast options such as yogurt and fresh fruit. They also have a solid selection of newspapers. Overall, I was impressed with the lounge and am glad to be able to experience free WiFi, nicer bathrooms, food and drink while waiting for your flight to board. read more

This is from the perspective of someone who hasn't had many experiences at an airport lounge. In fact, count this as my first time. The two free passes I get were nearing expiration so I found that DCA had a location, so we decided not to let it go to waste. I had read reviews and was a bit apprehensive, but my entire experience was decent. The location is a bit isolated (on the 2nd floor in Terminal B opposite Gate 11) so it was a little ways away from my actual gate. Could have a better location. We took the elevator up which deposited us before the front desk. The lady (wo)manning the desk seemed stern but after we wrote our names on the passes and she read it, she was quite warm and friendly. She explained where everything was and off we went. It was around 5:25 am so not many people were there; we easily found a table right by the breakfast bar. It seemed clean and open and there appeared to be an actual bar off to the other side, but no one was there. Staff was constantly checking on the breakfast bar and replenishing it, often when I got up to get more food. I hadn't had breakfast so I was looking forward to it. They have an okay selection - assorted coffee drinks, milk, OJ, canned juices, mini muffins, cereal, fruit, Greek yogurt... The only hot option is oatmeal. There were no other hot or savory breakfast items offered. I was a bit disappointed but not surprised. There are restrooms by the entrance so I freshened up before heading to my gate. The food they did offer was good, but nothing spectacular. It would be great if they had items like scrambled eggs or pancakes/waffles. However, it's a lot more than I usually get so no real complaints. I wouldn't say I'm a fan of the location and I don't know why someone would have to pay $50 without the pass for it, which is why it gets an "a-okay" from me! read more

This is a review for the United Club in Terminal B by gate 11. I have been a United Club member for over a year, and the clubs (in comparison to some others) is lack luster. But, not comparing United clubs with others - this is comparing this United club with other United clubs. This is probably the least busy of the clubs - it is at the very end of the boarding gates and not near much. Most of the flights nearby are the connector/express flights - so the turn over seems to be quicker than most (for patrons). The ambiance at this club is nice. A lot of windows facing the runway, bright and airy decor. Plenty of seating and power outlets. Wifi signal is very strong. Bar is large with a good selection of gratis beverages. Reason for not getting 5 stars: - no 'quiet space'. Granted the club was practically empty when I got here, and it was incredibly quiet - I have been here during a rush and it was noisy. Some United clubs have areas off of the main portion that offer a quieter experience - minimal food selection. This seems to be status quo for a lot of the original United clubs. There are some 'revamped' clubs hat offer hummus, fruit, soups, crudités, etc - but this is not one of them. Don't come hungry. read more

This lounge is like stepping back 70 years, except with wifi and without the smoking and troubling social policies - I like the vibe here. Airport lounges are a distinct type of place - they are restricted to members or those with the right kind of ticket, and everyone who comes is there for a limited amount of time. I only spent a few minutes in this lounge, but I am a big fan. It revels in is old school-ness - there are pictures of now-ancient airplanes on the walls and the ceiling, floor and tiles are straight out of the 1930s. Yes, the wifi is slow and the food and drink selection is limited. But does that really matter? It's tucked away in the bowels of the airport as part of the old terminal at the end of terminal B. If you take the stairs, you have to ring a bell to get in - it's like a little secret club, and from the other reviews, it's clear to me that this place is never that busy. It has comfortable chairs and good tables, so United's time machine is a good place to spend a little bit of time. It's a blend of new and old (with great views of DC views) and I am glad that I spent some time there. read more

I don't understand all of the complaints. The club is nicely maintained and has great views of the runways and even some DC monuments off in the distance. It is on the smaller side but hardly anyone uses it, so there's always tons of room. I'd prefer this UC versus the EWR terminal C club any day of the week. The agents at the front desk were overly helpful. Even after I sat down they kept working on my reservation for 15 minutes and were able to confirm me a great seat, and even brought over my new boarding pass to me. The only reason I didn't give 5-stars is because they haven't switched to the new and improved food offerings yet. But an enjoyable club for sure. read more

The service staff are rude, and behaved inappropriately toward me rather than providing a customer experience they not made the travel harder and the trip worse. It was a borderline "fraudulent" transaction in my opinion because they did not deliver what I bought, instead presented illogical excuses that all amounts to being barred from accessing the service that was promised and which I bought. I'll cancel my entire card with United and not fly them anymore, certainly can't expect anything resembling service. read more

Typical United Club except a bit smaller than most, and this one has seen better days. Time for a refurb! Snack selection was pretty dismal and there was a dearth of power outlets. Also, major thanks to the staffer who essentially told me to "calm down" because "everything will be fine" even though my flight to EWR was late and I was likely to miss my connection. As I write this I am sitting in a United-paid hotel room in Newark, NJ having missed my connecting flight to Barcelona. Turns out, guy at the United Club at DCA, everything was not fine. But hey, you got me out of your station and onto someone else's problem list, so good work! Your shop steward will be proud. read more
