We were a party of six for Sunday morning breakfast. The place has mostly booth seating available and unfortunately there was a large party seated at the only table for six. The server, Victoria, recommended our party could fit together comfortably in a booth but my partner and I chose to sit in a separate booth directly across from our friends. The place filled quickly. Our server worked alone and with only one cook in the kitchen. Additional staff arrived much later. When our order finally arrived the food was hot and very tasty. We were all very satisfied with our meal, however; the server explained that since there was only one burner to make coffee, we would all need to wait for refills. IHOP honors a 10% discount for Veterans. There is plenty of parking in their lot. The place is relatively small but clean. The background music is lively and enjoyable. We will return again but perhaps on a week day when it is less crowded and hopefully better staffed. read more

IHOP used to be a staple in my usual go-to breakfast spots, especially during my collegiate years. However, as I've gotten older and my palette has shifted, breakfast chain restaurants like IHOP appeal to me less and less. So, it was no surprise that I didn't care for my food here. Visiting as a request for my Dad's birthday breakfast before heading off to the beach, we popped into this IHOP. The restaurant was busy, which was expected on a holiday weekend. However, despite that, we were seated right away. We placed our orders, and the food came out quickly. We may have waited maybe 10 minutes at most. Sadly, there is nothing to brag about as far as food goes. It was a standard breakfast. My brother's breakfast chicken sandwich came out a bit too charred, so he ended up eating the bacon off our dad's plate. My buttered biscuit was just NOT good at all. I took maybe two or three bites and decided I couldn't consume it any further. Butter nor jelly could salvage it. Whatever they used to make it just was not jiving my with tastebuds. The cinnamon bun crepes were okay - again, nothing to brag about. My dad was probably the only one who fully enjoyed his meal as he got the standard sampler breakfast with two eggs, protein of your choice, and hash browns. It's pretty hard to mess that up. So, he was happy with his breakfast, which is all that matters, as it was his birthday breakfast anyhow. Our waitress was kind. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was lively. So, no complaints there. We were in and out pretty quickly, so that's a plus. There was ample parking, so no issue there. The restaurant was a little dated in style, but most of these breakfast food chains are. IHOP, while not my usual go-to any longer, is still a decent enough spot to visit for breakfast, especially if you don't want to make your own at home or visit a more pricey breakfast-oriented establishment. read more

7 Years! That's how long it's been since I've been to this IHOP or any IHOP. I've never been a huge fan, but I appreciate their iconic status in America. Being in business since 1958 is damn impressive! Arriving- They are on the northbound side of US 27. Their entrance is kind of weird. You need to drive behind the parking lot of an adjacent Sonic. Plenty of parking with 1 handicapped spot for those with the need. Pro Tip- Free Wi-Fi with easy sign in! Atmosphere- Not much really. Lots of booths and an open kitchen. Customer Service- My server had been there 9 years and was superior in every way! Food- Massive menu! Just for breakfast, we're talking pages. Pancakes, waffles, omelets, assorted egg dishes with every side and combination you can think of! I went with a Build-Your-Own omelet with cheddar, ham, and spinach. I paired it with a side of hash browns and coffee. I love it when a place leaves a pot of coffee on the table! My total pre-tip was $17. Take a look at my pic. That is one beautifully plated omelet! Fortunately, it tasted as good as it looked. All three fillings were generous quantities. The hashbrowns were spot on. This was a fine breakfast and I had great time! This is a very different format for an IHOP. A bit closer to the Waffle House style, with the open kitchen exposed to the restaurant area and the counter. It was definitely unusual. At 7:00 AM, the one waitress was hopping. She was trying very hard to keep up with the flow of customers, but she really needed the help. As I was leaving at 7:45, another waitress was parking and getting out of her car. Well done. Breakfast was good. Nice quality, good portions and cooked properly. I had the "harvest grain and nut pancake" combo with eggs over medium and sausages. Very filling and tasty. No hot syrup with my pancakes. The initial carafe of coffee was slow and the one that was on my table when I arrived stayed the whole time. But she did clear the dirty plates when I was done. read more

Avoid this resturant!! They didn't have crepes. They didn't have Waffles. The restroom was filthy and the utensils were dirty and greasy. I had to ask 2 times to get our sides of pancakes and bacon. The inlet was brought out and set on the table with no utensils. we had to ask for knives and forks! I am a life long supporter of IHOP. Good food, great value. Came here with my hubby's family on New Year's Day- 7 of us total and we got in just at the right time- no more than a 10 minute wait although our table was slightly cramped. I went with two eggs sunny side up, hash browns, bacon, and paid $1.99 for the specialty pancakes- choc chocolate chip which i enjoyed with strawberry syrup. Absolutely delicious! Server was super nice. Good choices and hearty portions. WIll definitely come back when we visit my MIL. read more

This restaurant might have the nicest staff I've ever encountered! Everyone is so friendly and personable. My family and I are on vacation and we've been here three days in a row for breakfast, and the staff remembers us, everyone stops by our table to say hello, and wished us safe travels when we left. You would think, being the only customers in the ENTIRE restaurant we'd AT LEAST get our drinks refilled when they ran out, but nope, I timed our waitress... 20 minutes to check on us and me ASK for a refill! There was a period of us sitting around going Where the F is our waitress?! We finally flagged down another worker and asked them to send her our way. One star only because the waitress was attentive and polite. The food was awful. First of all, with the restaurant nearly empty we were seated at what I'd call the "hind teat" of booths; right next to the bathrooms and also the swinging door to the kitchen. We should have requested a different booth, so it's our fault for enduring this less than appetizing location. I ordered the chicken Florentine crepe and my dining companion ordered one waffle with sausage links. The waffle was served with a ball of nearly frozen butter that refused to melt on the tepid waffle. The sausage links were cold. I had to wait a bit for the crepe, but when it arrived it was swimming in either butter or grease. Nothing about this crepe was good. Greasy spinach, tasteless chicken, a sauce with no flavor, and a crepe that should have been hot, but was instead lukewarm. We are not going back to this iHop. read more

Our food was great. Our server Phil not so great. A lot of lies about our food and how it came out ( in broken up plates and long time in between ). We were just there 3 days prior and the server of 14 years said it could not be split. I explained to her how and she was tickled that she could now do this. Phil on the other hand walked away in the middle of my telling him how. Came back lol and told us the manager needed to do it. (He also blamed the manager for our food coming out in 4 different times and 1/2 orders). After waiting for 5 more minutes he returned and said it could not be split. When questioned about it, the lie told this time, was his manager removed that option from the system ! Boo bad lies Phil ! FYI 2 of the 4 of us are servers ! read more

The food was awful! Ordered ham with my breakfast and got this tiny mouthful of a piece of meat. Also ordered tomato slices and I got yellow slices of what was supposed to be a tomato! When I went to say something the waitress replied "well that the way we serve them" . Will never go back! read more
