Was craving for some pancakes for brunch, so after visiting Home Depot in the morning. Was greeted by friendly staff and seated shortly. Little disappointed about food. Pancakes was okay but T-bone steak was really too soft... too tender, ( for my tasting ) , which felt & taste as if it was tenderize or process. (my opinion). So we arrived and it was basically empty but still had to wait a few minutes. The hostess checking us in (Karla) had such a bad attitude. They proceeded to sit someone down that walked in after us. Karla and Rebeca took ZERO responsibility and used the "we don't recognize faces with masks on" excuse for sitting them down. Thankfully we had Natalia as our waitress to make up for the sour taste in our mouths. Natalia was on top of it. Had an amazing attitude. Smiling and singing Christmas songs (so cheerful). I was craving breakfast for dinner and came here for the first time. They had a great "hoppy" hour from 3-9pm. The average cost of meals on that menu was $6. Also since it was the first time I checked in with yelp, I got $5 off if I spent more than $20. I ordered the full order of sweddish crepes and the $6 two egg breakfast with hash browns and bacon. My hubby ordered a $6 burger with onion rings. Food was as expected, good. We had a great server, Olga, who was by herself all night as the only server. I went here with my family and celebrate a birthday and every the it was going well until they didn't give me the right order. The place was comfortable and warm. Our waitress was nice, (this has nothing to do with her). I ordered a French Toast combo Banana Foster with strawberries and whipped cream. They gave me a French toast with strawberries. (Note this is a side complaint, they gave me the correct order after I explained what I wanted). Let me get to the real juice. I went to pay and I gave them $140, and the bill was $126.98. What I didn't notice is that they failed to give me back my 10 dollars. The moment I realized was too late, I was already home. I have the receipts, but now this is pretty upsetting. Indoor dining is finally opened. We were told about 45 min wait. We waited for 40 min and the table is ready. Every other table is available. Higher Plexiglass between each seating area. Service is great. Manager is keeping servers aware the most updated waiting time to incoming customers. I so appreciate that. Great management. Check out was quick. I would give ZERO STARS. I put in a to go order and received burnt pancakes without butter and NO syrup and the eggs were over cooked. I work from home so I couldn't just pick and return the food. This morning as I sat with family , we were greeted by a friendly staff and waiter, she did seem stressed and a little overwhelmed as it looked she had a lot on her plate . Being a professional in the oral health field I felt such great disgust and truely did not know how to express my true stress and anger . I calmed down and approached management , I was told sorry and given a plastic cup for my coffee after I had already consumed off the dirty cup , the other thing was a seed inside the cup so I did ask if they were sure alll utensils were clean something they probably had no clue of . How can you possibly still mess up a SPECIFIC ORDER TO BE MADE A SPECIFIC WAY??? my order was the Big Steak Omelette... NO HASH!!! first, where's the steak? is that why it was packed with so much hash?!?! and it was super salty! the only thing right was the egg white. Even the pancakes weren't up to your standards. What's going on?!?! YES, i'm a little disappointed, paid for your service and expected it to be done. It's the cooks job to prepare and handle the order precisely the way the order was received!!! which basically means, they are not paying attention. I expected it to be how i ordered it! I came here on 6/30 with my hubby and baby for brunch. I've never been to this location but immediately driving up and walking in it seemed newer and very clean and organized. This location has plenty of seating available in the waiting area which was nice because we had to wait about 15mins to be seated. We both ordered our usual entrees and within 8 mins our meals came out. Food at this location is delicious and we both agreed that this will be our go to location next time we're in the mood for a quick but yummy brunch. I use to like coming here because the service was good. I have never seen a manager micromanage the servers like this location. It's super hostile. If you want to see drama and servers aka grown ass people get scolded this is the place. Felt bad and tipped extra. Hope they find a happier place to serve . So for this review I want to be fair. There were some typical expectations you have when eating at generic mainstream places like here or Denny's. First, our wait time doubled what we were promised to about 40 minutes, and then the server had brought out a hot chocolate inside of a mug that had a giant lipstick stain on the side of it. At that point we probably should've left because that is just plain disgusting and someone should check the quality of their dishwasher. But it was late in the morning and we hadn't eaten yet so we just stuck around because we were all beyond hungry. But I will also give huge credit to our server. I wish I would've gotten her name because even though we were a big party and that place had already set us off to a negative start, she was amazing. She was extremely polite, genuinely happy, and didn't hesitate to fill a request. She honestly is too good for that place and should be working somewhere much nicer but bless her for doing such a great job with a positive attitude. My boyfriend and I went to this location because it was passing thru on our way back from LA and i kept bugging my boyfriend to stop for food lol. Im glad we did because the food was AMAZING. I say here at this location because i have been to multiple locations and the food wasnt all that. My boyfriend and i couldn't even finish our food lol so of course we took some Togo. Our server was Jovanni, ( i think i spelled his name right) he was the main reason i wanted to come to yelp and leave a review. He was phenomenal!!! There wasnt a time where we were looking around wondering where was our waiter, neither was he just over shadowing us. He was very sweet and respectful, informed us of items on the menu and the limited time items as well. My boyfriend said, " see I like servers like him, makes me want to come back!" And i felt that!! At some point I'm pretty sure she left and this other woman was serving the tables around us. This specific server was checking up on all of the tables expect for us. She even walked passed by directly in front of us and my boyfriend and I called out for her and said "excuse me!" And she walks by with a straight face ignoring us. Mind you there's a booth right next to us with a family and she went up to them, but never us. All we wanted was just a refill on orange juice and the check. I had to walk up to the front to ask for my check and told the woman up front what had happened. She said that server that unfortunately kept ignoring us was THE MANAGER!!!
