Went to Hen and Heifer before a concert at the Glass House down the street. I heard about it…read morebefore, specifically some of the larger burgers like the Boss Hog, but I wasn't trying to eat as heavy before a concert. My friends and I got a heavy helping of information from the cashier after he asked if we'd ever been - which none of us had. He went over the menu, assuring us the ingredients were all freshly prepared in-house for the most part. I opted for a lighter (and cheaper) single patty burger - "The Creaminal", which featured a shmear of cream cheese and jalapenos. We also got some fries to share, as we were told an order could be shared between 2-3 people. We got an order of regular sea salted fries, and one order of cajun fries to share between 4 of us. They were right, it was plenty to go around. To start, the burger was good but nothing too extraordinary - especially given the lengthy preamble. But there was definitely some house made quality - and I definitely want to come back and try another burger option. So why give a 4/5 stars? THE FRIES. We were told the fries were fried in beef tallow which piqued our interest. It was immediately apparent that the fries were above average in flavor. I don't think I could stop talking about them for like 4 days. Out of the two, I really liked the seal salt better, but the cajun were also great. I enjoyed how the cajun had plenty kick to it without being overpowering with spice coverage. Even more than the other burgers, I really want to try some chili cheese fries next time I visit. Though, I'm weary it might be trying to fix something that's not broken. The vibe of the restaurant was super chill, order at the counter, can/bottle drinks only, everything sold seperately. It's a little pricey overall, but again there's a lot of in-house ingredient preparation (meat cuts, sauces, etc.). Next time in the area I plan to check it out again and see if I can find a sandwich/burger that can match the flavor of the fries.

My wife really enjoyed her western-style "Treasure" burger and I essentially inhaled my double cheeseburger. They were both cooked perfectly, without rush, and very neatky assembled, as if the cooks were prepping it for themselves or for royalty. Definitely recommend this spot and will return. Next time I'll try the Treasure burger, but only as a double burger because I'm really trying to watch my figure.

Usually I don't really care that much about other clientele unless they're inherently cringe, but the number of shenanigans occurring here is much more highly skewed than at other McDonald's I've been to in more metropolitan areas (LA, in the Bay Area, etc.). Food is normal to low quality and sloppy like may other low tier McDonald's. Again, you can save quite a lot with mobile ordering through their app. Service is normal, short and curt, but with the people going in and out and hanging out, I'm not surprised.

The refried beans were so good, just the right consistency and flavor, with a little shredded cheese on top. Almost as good as my mom's. The rice was fluffy and plentiful, obviously made fresh. But it could've used a little more flavor. They offer three types of salsa that you serve yourself. I tried the green and the lighter red one. Both good. When I first got my order I didn't think I would be able to eat all of it because it was so much food. But it was really delicious and I was pretty hungry, so I devoured almost all of it (left some rice, the grilled onions, and the roasted chili pepper). I'm about to cook dinner now but I'm still thinking about that lunch I ordered. My dinner won't be as good as that was. Don't be turned off by the looks of the place (weird exterior; dark and unappealing interior). Some might call it a "hole in the wall". But you know, some of the best Mexican food can be found at those places. You can also order to-go if you'd rather not eat there. I think they also have a drive-thru. Do not come to this location!!!! They serve you half the actual serving size! I come to this waba location because it's the closest to my house knowing the portions are always so small. I went last week and ordered a bowl to go. When I got home there was literally three skinny slices of carrots, one thin cabbage leaf, three tiny broccoli pieces, the thinnest layer of brown rice, and a small portion of tofu. My bowl wasn't even half way full. The bowl was so small in portions I could see the bottom of the bowl!!!! They also never have lemon here! I called to ask the girl what happened with my bowl and she said she didn't serve me and that's how the owner said to serve! She said to call corporate since she said she didn't know who the owner nor manager was. She said she would give me a refund and call me back and that never happened! I called corporate and told them how the food was served and my experience. Turns out they gave me half of all the serving sizes or less I am sure!!!! It's really sad that this location is lacking in customer service and company serving sizes! I can honestly say I will never go back to this location now! I've been to WaBa Grill a few times, and I've always had a good experience. I usually get the chicken bowl, and it's always fresh, filling, and really tasty. I like that the portions are generous without feeling too heavy. The staff has always been friendly, and my food comes out pretty quickly, which I appreciate when I'm in a hurry. The restaurant is also clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. WaBa Grill has definitely become one of my go-to spots when I want something quick, fresh, and satisfying. I'll keep coming back! read more

Normally I don't eat subway, especially these days, but the staff there is great. There was a guy who worked there named Marcel, young tall dude was wonderful. Amazing attitude and super efficient. Sadly he moved on to other things last month. However, there is Nina, the other bright light there for sure. Well, all of the subway employees are nice and efficient and if Marcel was the supercharged sparkle of it, Nina is the heart. She is there every day, working her tail off, always keeping her cool no matter how busy it gets. She is key in what keeps it smooth for sure. Normally I don't go out of my way to greet someone how I do with her but she deserves at least that much consideration and courtesy. I don't mind saying hi to her every time I go in and out of that cafeteria because she is that cool. And of course she makes a good sandwich heh. Whoever owns that subway down there really should pay mind to what she brings to this branch for sure. I'm truly grateful for her and wish nothing but the best out of life for her. Additionally, while my husband was signing the receipt, she was tapping his card on the table, which again, very impatient and disrespectful. We have been loyal customers of CPK and have always had positive experiences, which is why this interaction doesn't sit well with me. We completely understand that restaurants can get busy, but the tone, comment, and behavior we experienced did not reflect the level of service we've come to expect. I hope this can be addressed appropriately and hopefully future visits will reflect the professionalism and hospitality we've always appreciated at CPK.

While the line is sizeable, with how busy they're most of the time, the line stretches out all the way out into the parking lot which can cause heaps of traffic, not ideal but just shows how much space they really need for how popular this spot can be. Overall, a good spot for a meal, whether it's online or in person, CFA is always consistent which is the most important. Highly recommend regardless of how busy they're, always place a mobile order on their phone to save tons of time. Plus you get can tons of points and rewards from their app.
