Go to a different location. Don't waste your time ordering here. Today I ordered online, my food was supposed to be ready at 2:27. I got here a few minutes early but as I immediately walked in there were 5 other people waiting. I wasn't even greeted/attended to until 15 minutes just standing, I even tried getting their attention and I was ignored. This place is just getting worse and worse for their service. The young male working that was wearing a big puffy jacket looked like he did not want to be there. He kept just walking around the back, taking his mask off tending the cash register then not washing his hands and handling food. I got my order at 2:56. This isn't the first time either. I love WaBa but this is Sad... Hope cooperate properly anyone who cares looks into this. With an update, some of my chicken didn't look edible, there were no carrots and the broccoli isn't even cooked. What do I even do at this point?

The cashier was super high and spilled hot sauce in my bag. Didn't find out till I got home... And the chicken wasnt even cut properly, it was all stuck together in one chunk. Such a simple job and can't even do it right Update: realized half of the chicken wasn't even cooked properly. Wtf yall doing serving raw chicken.

Just came from this Waba and it was a major disappointment when I got back to work. First off the cashier kept on telling me my gift card was expired and I'm trying to sincerely explain to her that gift cards don't expire when it's pre-purchased money on a card that I got 2 months ago. Plus I have to tell her I just checked the card and there is a $10 balance. She doesn't say a word and walks to the back to get someone to try and help and the cook was able to resolve it. You would think she would apologize about the confusion, but nope. Her attitude and expression was just super unfriendly and unwelcoming. Then I get back to work which is less than 5 minutes away and I realize my food is cold and the potstickers they gave me are all hard and chewy in a bad way like eating jerky. After sorting through them they looked like an old overcooked batch that they gave to me so they wouldn't have to throw. Being at work doesn't give me the luxury to just go back and get a new order so this was all very disappointing.

Do not let the photos fool you. The salmon was soooo small it was sad to not be able to fully enjoy it :(

The young woman working immediately acknowledged us before we even finished writing our info down and asked how many were in our party. We said two, and she told us to go ahead and start building our bowls. The concept is pretty cool and very straightforward. You grab a bowl and tongs, then walk through the different sections choosing your ingredients. They had a good variety of veggies, noodles, meats, seafood, tofu, etc. Pricing is by weight at $15.99/lb. Once you finish building your bowl, you head to the cashier where they weigh it and you choose your broth and spice level. The broth selection was surprisingly huge, around 15 options if I remember correctly. I got the Tom Yum broth mild spice, and my girlfriend got the Organic Miso mild spice. We also added jasmine green tea and white rice for $1.99 each. After ordering, they give you a table number and you can head over to the self-serve sauce station while your food is being prepared. The sauce bar had ponzu, sesame oil, soy sauce, sriracha, Tabasco, scallions, cilantro, red onion, satay sauce, shallots, minced garlic, chili powder, chili oil, and more. The soups came out quickly and were served over a live flame at the table, which was a nice touch. Both broths were excellent. Even at mild spice, there was still a pleasant kick. The broth itself had good body and flavor and didn't taste watery at all. Service was also great. The server checked on us consistently, kept drinks refilled, and was attentive without hovering. The restaurant itself is pretty small, maybe around 8 tables, but it felt cozy rather than cramped. Nice interior, comfortable temperature, clean setup, and the vibe was relaxing. They were playing bossa nova versions of 2000s and modern hits which honestly fit the atmosphere perfectly. Definitely a spot I'd come back to. Great value, fun experience, and genuinely good hot pot.

This was the closest one to us, and it definitely lived up to what I was expecting. I tried their new Bolognese udon, and it did not disappoint. It had a really rich, savory tomato flavor that paired surprisingly well with the chewy udon noodles. It's a little different from the usual udon dishes, but that's what made it stand out. I would definitely get it again, especially since udon is one of my favorite types of noodles. My friends got the Nikutama udon, which was also really good. You can tell the udon is freshly made, with that perfect chewy texture. We also grabbed some of their tempura sides, and they were crispy, light, and super satisfying. The workers were really nice, and the whole setup runs pretty smoothly even when it gets busy. The space itself is pretty spacious with lots of seating, so it's great for groups. The nikutama udon was only warm rather than hot, and the broth tasted overly salty with a slight sweetness. I added green onions and flakes, but the flakes quickly became soggy in the soup. I also ordered crispy katsu, which was actually quite fresh and tender, and helped give an extra star. I also tried a battered chickenc tempura shrimp, and battered sausage that was cold and seems left out for a while. I can't say the meal was enjoyable.

I ordered the Tai Lan, which is a fun cross between phở and a noodle salad. Sliced tender ribeye sits over garlic oil phở noodles on a bed of greens and fresh herbs, tossed with a shallot tamarind sauce, topped with crispy garlic, and served with a side of their 24-hour bone broth to sip or pour over. The ribeye was genuinely tender, the tamarind sauce had a nice tangy-sweet kick, and the crispy garlic tied it all together. Added some sriracha for a little more flavor and to give it a kick. Best phở I've ever had? No. But it's a clever modern take and I left very full and very happy, which is exactly what I needed. And if phở isn't your thing, the menu sprawls into wagyu phở, garlic noodles with filet, lomo saltado, sandwiches (which look amazing) and even Vietnamese coffee with sea salt foam. Plenty to explore. This is now the first spot I'd send anyone to in the Glendora Public Market, and a real step up from the ramen place that used to be in the same space. Refreshing. While my lady was deciding, I ordered: crispy tofu appetizer (presented in a small dish, about 10-12 pieces of hot, crispy cubes of golden tofu with a dipping sauce) and the salmon skin salad for my entree. The salad was an ample sized serving to share between the two of us. The salmon skin was julienned and were crispy little clumps like miniature fishy hash browns. Very crispy and tasty salad that included sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and scallions on mixed greens. My date ordered the charshu ramen. We shared our plates. The ramen was very tasty. The noodles had a good chew, not over cooked. Mmm, that was delicious. The robotic server was kitchy and cute. Maybe it does assist them with delivering plates to the table but the human server was observed transferring them from the bot to the table. For our table, we had our food delivered in stages not at the same time. The crispy tofu arrived first, then the ramen, and several minutes later came the salmon skin salad. Not a deal breaker but noticed. Food was good. Service was okay, could be better.
