Pizza pirates is a game changer, we love a ton of toppings on ours, and after putting up to 7 toppings on a LARGE Pizza, it came out to be $20, with a text coupon they usually send out. I've had this place a few times, and it is always really good. Pizzas are pretty greasy, but decent taste and the two topping pizzas are really good and are a decent price. Pizzas are nicely baked and they don't skimp on the cheese or toppings. A few slices will fill you up. Highly recommended if you're craving some tasty pizza for a decent price. read more

We got a carryout coupon in the mail to try this spot out, so decided to get a Large Chicken Garlic Pizza. The pizza's undercarriage was nicely toasted, not blackened. The overall crust was really soft, so wished it was a little crunchier. The only meat included was chicken so overcooked, it probably needs to walk the plank to get some moisture back. The pizza was also missing mushrooms and sliced red onions. I guess the Pizza Pirates might have gotten to it? The actual restaurant is smaller than a decimal and they don't offer cheese or pepper flake packets. If you want those, probably have to stop by Costco or just have it at home. For what it's worth, the pizza was a fairly decent price after using the coupon. read more

Solid pizza spot. The in laws always order for the office and we've ordered and brought it home before. I love their pizza - the marinara sauce is well balanced, not too acidic and just the right savory, bread is soft in a good way and a lil sweet, toppings are always perf. I actually love their wings too, not overcooked and many sauces to choose from. We even eat out leftovers because we love it. Staff is really nice and friendly as well. Kudos! read more

The pizza is good, but their large size is what I would normally Consider a medium sized pizza. I ordered through Yelp and maybe it would have been better to DoorDash or call directly but it cost over $40 (tip included but still). I did the chicken Alfredo pizza and added artichoke hearts. It was good, but I need this to be around $28-$30 to feel like it's worth it and maybe it would be if you're dining in. If you're ordering out for pizza night, then I would look elsewhere. Based on the pizza alone this place is a easy 1/5. Nothing great about it. I wouldn't buy this for my kids baseball team, but maybe if I'm belligerent and it's the only thing open. The $1 parm cheese isn't worth it (doesn't taste like parm) and the little cup/3tbsp of ranch isn't enough especially when 1/4 of the pizza is rubbery crust. I ordered garlic oil on the crust and there is no taste of garlic on the super dry crust. This pizza is like dominoes or pizza-hut but doughier and worse, it has no sauce. Save your money and eat a frozen pizza. Digiornio is about the same quality or better. A large pizza should come with more than 1 ranch if you pay for it, ranch cups are at most 2 oz. The pizza is already over $20 which is asinine, and they have a terrible dough. Won't be back, ever. The owner claims they have "value price pizza" but this isn't close to value. The breadsticks are so freaking good, I think about them all the time. Extremely Disappointed. I've been going to pizza pirates since 1997-98 b/c of yearbook at Pomona Catholic. And when I moved to Ontario we started going to the one in south Ontario off grove and Philadelphia. Anyway, tonight we ordered from the Pomona location and were very upset. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and the pizza had almost no chicken on it and had no buffalo sauce. My family even thought we may have received the wrong pizza. But when I got home and tasted it and saw the pizza there was no orange on it pretty much no buffalo sauce and very minimal chicken. Instead of calling and complaining about this I decided to do a yelp review because since it's Halloween it's very busy and figured I would just get brushed off. The pepperoni and sausage was fine but if I'm ordering a specialty pizza I expect it to be what I'm ordering. No I am questioning on returning here and probably will tell my family members including extended family who lives nearest to this location versus Ontario to NOT order any specialty pizzas because what you order isn't what you'll receive. The location in South Ontario is the location where I had ordered this pizza first and got my mom hooked only to have her extremely disappointed with today's purchase.
