If it weren't for Henry, & the two younger gentlemen that work here, I would give this place 0 Stars! The Manager in the morning always has an attitude , unless you're Latino/Hispanic. I am mixed, but fluent in Spanish. So I know when someone is being disrespectful. I've ordered plenty of times before other customers, & I faithfully get my order after those who have ordered after me. The other day, I saw the same thing that happened to me & to my surprise, also, to this Gentleman of Polynesian decent. He mentioned that he is a truck driver & comes here almost everyday and gets the same treatment from the Manager. She doesn't give a care if she talks down to you. I was debating on what to get and what to try and he helped me out by giving me suggestions on what to try and what to get. He is very helpful and very patient. Funny how my yelp sees my review and asks what could improve? I'll tell you look at my photo, I've never in my past experiences of driving to this Jack had any issues so when I go drive from one to another making my main reasoning for going to Jack is the new Oreo mint shake for my mom, I ordered food for myself because I'm hungry and chicken strips and tacos sound delicious. The cashier asked me if I wanted regular or curly fries I asked if I could upgrade my side for the loaded waffle fries classic reminded me of potato wedges which I enjoyed as a kid, why when I open this box at home, no cheese no bacon bits no sauce as the photo showed? Literally on only 1 potato 1! I had to go home and add my own cheese because this was a huge disappointment to say honestly Jack in the box get in gear I hope they see this and feel bad because as a paying customer I expected more cheese more bits and more sauce not on 1 literal waffle fry. I had a mobile order for $1 any size drink and the app wouldn't let me customize the drink in anyway. Wouldn't let change the flavor or remove ice or size for that matter. So when I explained myself to the guy at the window he refused to correct my order. Saying he couldn't give me a bigger size cus I got charged for a medium... it's 1 dollar any size drink. I even showed him my phone order and the promotion and he said the most he could do was change the flavor. I said Dr Pepper no ice and he gives me ice? They messed up the order in spectacular fashion. I ordered the Patty melt, with light onions and add ketchup and mayo. The receipt even says that. The cook though? Made a Patty melt, no onionsband missing cheese. That's not cool, but also not any violation. When they took the burger back, AFTER I had handled it, and added cheese and onions to THAT SAME burger? That was a violation. That is absolutely disgusting. I know it was MY food, and my hands and mouth we're on it, but I don't know what that worker touched after handling my burger, or if they even changed the gloves. I'm never coming back here again. I would report this to the local health agency, but apparently they don't even want to post their information. WHICH IS ANOTHER VIOLATION! The employee JOSE was extremely RUDE and I wanted to eat there, but he put the food for to go and when I said I wanted to eat in he rolled his eyes and emptied the bag of food by grabbing the bottom and dumping the food out in the tray. Dumbest jack in the box I've been to, Lakers won tonight. 116 to 98. Deal is if they keep them to under 111, free tacos with large drink. I ordered and I made sure to get a large drink. Okay. Cool. Come to learn, they can't offer me the tacos cos they didn't play today. They. Did. Then the excuse was I couldn't get it cos it had to be the next day. At a 24 hour..... okay. So with that logic I could have came an hour later to get them; so I'm hindsight wouldn't it be less of a hassle to just start it an hour before. I've never had that problem to begin with in the first place, I've always been able to get tacos the same day as a win. Then when we got to the window the cashier gave ANOTHER excuse that the lakers need to keep them under 111.......... I- my brain can not compute the logic. At least stay consistent with the excuses. We have never had an issue here before and today there customer service was good but over the phone not so much. My husband purchased breakfast here and when he got home he saw that they charged him but did not give him his full order. On top of that they gave him a completely different receipt for someone else order that was lunch not breakfast. I called the store to let them know about the problem and was very nice about it not expecting the response I received from the employee I then was told well without a receipt I cant help you side note the employee who answered was Jose. I then became upset and said so you mean to tell me your employee's gave my Husband the wrong receipt but gave us a breakfast order minus some missing items and also charged us for those items but you cant do anything. He then said well whats the name of the employee on the receipt low and behold it was Jose same person I am speaking to on the phone. He then proceeds to tell me well I am here until 2 bring the food back (mind you my 4 year old was already eating his breakfast) with the wrong receipt and I will try to fix it. Are you serious you want me to take his breakfast from him and bring it back only on a maybe I can fix it. I was so severely disappointed I have worked fast food and currently work customer service and understand mistakes are made I by all means am not upset with the fact they forgot some of our food or the wrong receipt but upset at this employees actions. read more
