Great pancakes, good taste all the things I ordered utensils, sides good too, drinks, everything there

We got our drinks when we walked in. Waited at least 30 minutes for our order to be taken after the waiter told us she would be right back. She also said the cook told her to shut off orders for a minute because it was to busy. We ordered our food finally and took at least another 30 minutes for our food. We asked for our check and took them about 20 minutes to bring it back. When she brought our check to us you could tell she just smoked a cigarette from the aroma. tMind you it was late at night and there was only us and 2 other groups. We asked another waiter to take our order because we were waiting and she said "she's new give her some time" Anyways this was a horrible experience and definitely won't be back... read more

We arrived at this restaurant at midnight. There was a small group who was stated and having their meal. The waitress and the cook were sitting in a booth talking while loud music was being blasted from kitchen. Three other people were waiting to be stated when we arrived. We waited 20 minutes while the waitress and the cook continued their conversation and then she finally came over to seat us. She stated that it would be a long wait for food because the cook needed to make everything. We sat down and waited another 10 minutes and she still didnt take our drink order. We got up and left, and the other 3 people who came in before is got up and left at well. On our way out two more customers were coming in and we informed them not to waste their time. The service was terrible and they would never get their food. They left as well! Not sure how the owner feels about losing money but you need new employees that care about their jobs. The waitress and the cook working on 9-15-2026 @ midnight should both be fired. I have never had to deal with service this bad in my life! Will never eat here again! read more

The new manager of this place is KING. He has this place so turned around it's like night and day. I already loved this place and now it fully functions like it's supposed to. Last 2 times I went It was bumping and everyone was happy, food came out quick and fully loaded just like the pictures, (which didn't use to be the case for this location) . But it's their new normal now. If you haven't been here go, and if you've been and had a bad experience GO BACK, I promise you will not be disappointed again. Their standard of care and service has been leveled up, and the staff seems much happier and present. IHop is now Hopping. And ofc the food is always delicious. My absolute fav. read more

Had breakfast here. Plenty of parking, festive holiday decorations, Hostess greeted us warmly and we were seated immediately. Our waiter, Jordan, was friendly and energetic. Very professional. My chicken fajita omelette was delicious (not really spicy at all) and the side salsa was great. I also had a fruit cup on the side. My husband had a Waffle Combo with ham and eggs. He enjoyed it. We hadn't been to IHOP in a long time, I was looking for something opened 24 hours. It was a pleasant surprise. When were the only ones in the restaurant at 10 o'clock at night. I really wanted pancakes. The order said four to a stack, but I got five. !!! The service was great. The restaurant was clean. Ordered delivery through Grubhub and have ordered the pesto veggie egg white omelette before. According to the description, it's supposed to be egg whites, pesto, sautéed mushrooms, avocado, roasted cherry tomatoes, and a side of fruit. They NEVER add avocado and didn't give me any fruit. This time it was just the mushrooms, pesto, and onions (which onions aren't even supposed to be in it. Also ordered shredded potatoes that tasted like straw and the omelette was also poorly cooked. long story short, don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. it's the avg ihop, it's open 24/7 and my friends and i wanted to get suhoor. we ordered the thick n fluffy french toast which i thought was surprisingly okay, my friend got the new york style pancakes that she also said was okay and another got the blueberry pancakes which she thought was mid. unfortunately my other friend was vegan so the only thing she was able to get the hash does (but now that im thinking abt it idk if they added butter??). the service was kind of rude though when we asked for his opinion he said he wouldn't get either and that he just works here. attitude was just poor, the food did come out in like 20 min which was good. but we didnt water and utensils until well after it came. read more

A few years ago, my rating for this casual restaurant was 1 star, but based on my experience at this restaurant today, I will increase my rating to 4 stars. Immediately upon entering the restaurant, an employee greeted my husband and me and walked us to a table. Unfortunately, several minutes passed before our waitress noticed us, because the other employee did not tell her about us. The waitress apologized, and throughout the rest of the service, she was very nice and timely. Please note that I think that only TWO employees were working during this shift, and they worked very hard. As for the food, I rate my strawberry and banana pancakes as 5 stars. My husband's omelette contained way too much egg and hardly any other ingredients, so I rate it as 2 stars. However, my husband's pancakes and bacon were cooked well and tasted very good, so I rate them as 5 stars. read more

The service was awful. The waitress didn't hussle and was very forgetful. We waited 20 minutes just for someone to get us coffee and then she forgot the creamer. She didn't bring creamer until she brought our food. The orders were all wrong. My pancakes had the wrong topping and my poached eggs were soft boiled. My husband totally got someone else's order which he just ate because we had been waiting so long to be served. The fruit topping on the pancakes was cold, the pancakes themselves were barely warm. There were loud children running around and parents either ignoring them or yelling at them. We did not get a copy of the receipt to keep. This was the Browns Hill Road I-Hop in Pittsburgh. Went at 5am when there was only 1 other table in the entire place. Our table & menus were really sticky but the waiter didn't come around much to ask for a rag so I just made sure not to touch it. My bf's glass was also sticky & I did try his Pepsi, it was very flat & tasted like pure syrup. I always get the bacon temptation omelet & this is the worse it's ever looked. It was somehow grey, dry & burnt but the cheese wasn't even melted, & just awful. My bf got pancakes & wasn't even given syrup but we saw our waiter maybe twice, so we just decided to quickly just pay & leave. My hashbrowns were burnt but I honestly like them like that & my strawberry crape was wonderful as always so at least I had those both going for me. IHOP is taking a direction that's impressive. They have added healthy fresh veggies and fruits to menu items with whole grain bread offerings. Keto and low fat options on the menu surprised me and I'm pretty picky! While it's still a diner experience, I can't grace it with three stars. The day we went, a nearby birthday party featured screaming kids and swearing parents, putting a damper on our experience. The manager made it right and waiver our bill. I am specifically reviewing the restaurant on Browns Hill Road, because I have never been to any other. If I could give NO stars, I would, because I should never have gone in after I saw the filthy doors. We were seated, and the menus were disgustingly dirty. We didn't see anyone else working and only 2 other couples eating. There were no decorations on the wall and looked like they were closed 6 months ago. Other reviewers are spot-on about the wait. One person in our party had to wait 45 minutes after the rest of us for their order to come. We checked in multiple times and kept being told that it was almost ready. When it came out, it had clearly just been thrown together haphazardly (and that it wasn't in progress the whole time as we were told) and even worse, it wasn't even the right order. The order was the burrito bowl and what came out was scrambled eggs and hash browns, no meat/salsa at all. Ultimately we requested that it just be taken back and removed from the bill entirely, which I do appreciate them accommodating, although it took another 20 minutes to get the bill back! read more

We got here & the server was a nice guy. We got sat down, waited about 15-20 minutes till the server took our order. Food did not take long to cook, I got the spicy Pablano eggs Benedict. It was rather delicious. Waitress was hard to track down for anything. We did not have silverware at first. The bust boy is definitely doing more work than he should by helping all the customers. He is super nice & he definitely deserves something! Overall, 4/10 would not come back here due to service being bad. Food was great, but it's never a great experience unless the service is great as well. I understand they have short staff but that's not a full reason to not be found when needing items. We are not the only table that had to wait long times. If you have the time to wait for food & such then yes this place does have good food. Visited here last weekend for the first time in quite a while. The wait always seems to be at least 15-20 minutes no matter the time of day. I wish I could remember our waitress' name as she truly made our visit as good as it was. She was really friendly, smiling at us, and just really attentive. That type of demeanor truly goes a long way in the food industry, or any industry for that matter, that many forget. I really enjoy the IHOP menu as there is so much to try. My son and I got a rather basic breakfast as we weren't feeling too adventurous. I like the flavored syrups at the tables and the coffee being readily available to pour yourself more at the table. The breakfasts here are just the right portions, I feel, and we were satisfied without feeling overstuffed. For my son and I my bill was only $16 before tip which is just awesomely affordable for a nice weekend morning out. The tastes of IHOP pancakes (even the basic ones) are what give them their uniqueness. read more

No hospitality and our waiter failed to follow up with us at all after waiting 25+ minutes for our meal (mine of which was completely wrong.) it took 15 minutes for us to be served or spoken to once seated, after waiting 10 minutes to even be seated. The other diner did the same with The Sampler, which had 2 egs, bacon, ham, and sausage, and two pancakes (Not hot. Or even warm). I had just finished 24 + ounces of coffee, and didn't order a drink. The other diner, however, said it was decent coffee; nothing special. The ladies rest room was dirty. While at the sink, a male employee (who didn't knock or yell in), burst in, and trying to hold door open, grabbed the "wet floor" sign, folded it, and pinned it in the door. He never said a word. Not a one. Thoroughly unprofessional. Had I been a jerk, i could've given him/ihop all kinds of legal woes. The topper was the server, Jeanette, returned with change from the bill. She apologized for being short $.34. I've been a server, and in the hospitality industry a long time, albeit part time (quit last year). I have/would never say that to a customer. Period. I would tell the shift manager or GM, but I would absolutely NEVER do that to a customer. I will NOT return. Not even the omelette could get me back here. read more

One of worst dining experiences ever. We went at ~ 9 pm on Friday. The parking lot was practically empty which should have been a warning sign. There was only one table occupied ( 4 adults and 2 kids) when we got there. We were waiting at the front entrance for 10 minutes before a young server came and got us seated. The server took the other table's order and then came to our table. We gave our order and then the wait started. While placing the order, we asked how long it would take to get the order since it was already late and the server said 20 minutes. 45 minutes in, the party at the other table walked out without getting their food. One of entrees finally arrived at the 1 hour mark but the server did not supply us with any cutlery. When we saw him again, we asked him and he gave us plastic fork and spoon to eat. Then he brought out the omelette which was not the one we had ordered. We are pretty sure they tried to use the food they had made for the people at the other table that left without their food. We had finished the entree at this time. Another party arrived and the kitchen started getting them their order starting with pancakes which we feel was again the leftover form the party that left that they couldn't pass off on to us. We asked to speak to the manager after waiting for another 15 minutes, and the other server came out. We complained to him about the delay in receiving our order and mistake food that we received. He had an excuse that there was only one cook. We then received the pancakes 10 minutes before the omelette arrived. We had asked for ham, mushroom and cheese omlette but it came without the mushrooms. Finally when the bill arrived, i saw that they had charged us for the mushrooms and overcharged us by $2 . After my wife asked about the charges, they said it was correct. In summary, it took 90 minutes to get out order and they overcharged us. I will NEVER be back to this restaurant and will NEVER recommend it to anyone else. read more
