Despite the always present large crowd, my order was out within two minutes. The staff behind the counter and those bussing the tables were pleasant and prompt. The chocolate chip cookie was warm and fresh and the coffee was hot and flavorful. I opted for a seasonal peppermint coffee and it wasn't sweet at all, in case that's what you're hoping for. We decided to try out the new Chick-fil-A in bridgeville, PA. Food was delicious, of course. An older gentleman came in and asked one of the team members if they offered any discount for military. The reply was that they do but only for those in uniform and in the dining room. The man looked so disappointed, hung his head, turned around and left. So, is this a corporate policy, you may ask? I was lucky to see the owner/operator of this particular location on my way out. He informed me that this is a Pittsburgh region policy- veterans who would like the discount need to come inside and be in uniform. I asked what he thought and if he thought that was the right thing to do- to ask that that older veteran I saw earlier or my 70something Vietnam-Veteran father to put on their uniforms to come into Chick-fil-a to get maybe a 10% discount (I have no idea what the actual discount is)? **don't you dare try wearing your uni through the drive through or you will pay full price.** He replies- "Do you think it is fair that all these guys come and try to get it?" -don't totally quote me on this but you get the gist. I said "I'm sure you can verify in some way, like this place is supposed to be all wholesome but can't even hook up our vets? Isn't wholesome like your thing?" Was in town for work and where I'm from, there is no Chick-fil-A. So whenever there is an opportunity for it, I'll do it! The customer service is wonderfully refreshing, with most responses being "my pleasure." It's like walking into a polite bubble which is sadly, shocking. Shout out to "David" the catering manager who provided us with excellent service! We ordered packaged meals (box lunches) with a group garden salad and plates weren't provided with the salad. There were plates in each box lunch but they were "tiny". They are idea to place the sandwich on but not for a side salad. I will just remember to ask for extra larger plates next time or provide my own. No waffle fries with catering orders - but they do offer waffle potato chips. I am really impressed with Chick-fil-A's catering service. For a special office breakfast, I ordered thru the website catering menu 100 chicken biscuits and four gallons of brewed coffee for a pick up at 6:30am. This was the earliest pick up available. I was very worried about such a large order considering Chick-fil-A opens their daily service at 6:30am. There was a lot of people who would be super disappointed if the food wasn't at the meeting. So, I called the day before pickup and a team member found my order and assured me it would be ready on time. The day of my pickup, I was quickly greeted and within minutes I was driving to the office with all the food I ordered and more than enough supplies of coffee cups, silverware, napkins, sauces, cream and sugar to ensure all my morning guests had everything they needed. I love the chicken cold wrap and avocado ranch dressing at Chick-fil-A. And their waffle fries are always good. However today a little more salty than usual. We like to eat here because the food is good but also they have a nice play place that my son enjoys to play in. My husband and son went to the bathroom and the floor right before entering was really wet and slippery. This made their shoes slippy until we left. This issue was addressed by the management at this location and they are going to try out new floor cleaner. We were on our way to the Mall at Robinson and were planning to go to the location inside, but decided to go here instead. It was around 2pm on a Monday and was pretty busy, but the line moved fast. By the time we ordered, they were able to give us our food before we even got our drinks, lucky us. It's clean, service is friendly, and the fried chicken of course is outstanding! We got a Chick Fil A Deluxe and a Spicy Deluxe, the lettuce, tomatoes and cheese give the sandwich extra flavor. Oh, but how can I forget about the pickles? There's just something about pickles and fried chicken that just works. This is the one that used to be further down she closer to the mall. It relocated up near Sam's Club. It's move is definitely a needed one as it's far easier getting out then the previous location. I love Chick Fil A. It's my favorite fast food restaurant. The workers are always very pleasant and trained very well. I have been to the new chick fil a 3 times and had the same issue each time. The new drive through is poorly designed. It does not flow. It splits into 2 lanes and when you get there everyone kind of guesses which lane to go in...as a result, someone who you are 4 cars ahead of may end up in front of you. Then the 2 lanes merge in to one lane and so far it causes nothing but confusion. The process simply does not work and it takes 3 people working the drive be thru to make it kind of work...should go back to basics. Also, the plaza it is in gets very congested. You have to drive through a crowded parking lot of another restaurant to get to this location. Again, nice people, good food, just not a great process 4/19/19 - update - it seems process has been fixed. Drive thru much better. Location still tough to get to but overall better. I'm writing a review today because I'm not sure why every time I come to spend my money here they don't prepare my order the way that I asked for it. I always ask for my food to be made hot and fresh out of the grease. When I get my order, it's the total opposite. For example I'll order a 12ct combo without salt on my fries. I would get dried out or cold nuggets with salted fries or if the fries are unsalted, they would be cold (who wants cold food). I think that the staff should serve the food the same way that they would want their food if they were at an establishment when they are in the role of the customer. I'm not sure if I'm being misunderstood because I have an accent or what ‍ and whenever I say something, the staff member(s) are always looking at me as if I said something wrong. I wish that I could give them 0 stars because this is an ongoing issue. In a nutshell, please give a customer their food the way they are asking for it to be made please. I'm not just speaking for myself when I say what I'm saying. I'm not returning back to this location ever again. This used to be my go to chicken place. A happy place, with competent employees who used to be the nicest people in the world. Hell, even the company (viewpoints aside) was great. Nicest people in the world, not any charge for extra sauce. They are busy and I get that, so I ordered ahead mobile. Just two entrees only, a regular sandwich, 4 strips, a couple sauces that maxed me out. I get there as the app says foods ready. I'm greeted with a hoard of hungry people, ranging from city folk all the way to the Amish, and for once we're united....in frustration and hunger. There was food coming out at a snails pace, but eventually they started getting orders into the iconic, greasy white bags that would make the band The Donnas like feel second rate celebrities (ok maybe third rate). What I mean is that, what's the point of a mobile order when walk ins and drive through is going faster. I wait, patiently, then I became frustrated like others. One person summed it up " are you all waiting for mobile takeout orders " Someone replied "yes" and I heard it said "holy shit" . After a slew more of food came out the lady who was trying to be nice said mine isn't even close "it's way down the list" I didn't know someone invited Schindler. Much like how that goes, I was starving. I also had to return to work empty handed, hungry, like someone finger banged my soul. I would normally have stayed an hour but I didn't want to get into hot water at my job for a lunch break because they couldn't do theirs.
