Sub missing all the juice, spices, and onions

This location and mobile app orders seem to have a very low success rate. I ordered a #8 with nothing removed from Mikes Way, plus banana peppers, extra lettuce, extra Mayo. I didn't get any onions, oil and vinegar, or seasoning. To say the least, the sandwich was lacking all that flavor even with a tip. Lesson learned yet again- always order in person to make sure you get your sub built correctly.

Jumbo Pretzel - 5 stars - huge size with beer cheese and mustard sauce. French Onion Soup - 5 stars - This soup had a rich broth, onions, and cheese. Ybor Cuban sandwich - 4.5 stars - nicely crunchy toast with tasty pork, ham, and Swiss cheese and a side of crispy onion rings. Salmon - 5 stars - I ordered this entree both times. The salmon was perfectly cooked and came with flavorful farro grains, cherry tomatoes, and asparagus. Filet Mignon - 5 stars - This 8-ounce steak was cooked mid-rare as my husband prefers. It came with whipped potatoes and his choice of au poivre style (black pepper crusted with bourbon cream).

Owned by longtime locals John and Melanie Dober, it positions itself as a warm, community-focused spot blending upscale comfort food with a welcoming vibe--think handcrafted sandwiches, premium Black Angus steaks, fresh seafood, flatbreads, and daily specials, all with thoughtful wine and bourbon selections. We were excited for what promised to be a polished neighborhood gem, and in many ways, it delivered. The food was genuinely great and the clear highlight. Our dishes were flavorful, well-executed, and creative without being fussy--fresh ingredients shone through, portions were generous, and everything arrived hot and beautifully plated. It's easy to see why so many reviewers rave about the crab cakes, steaks, and chef specials; the kitchen clearly knows what it's doing. This is elevated American fare that feels special yet approachable, and we'd happily return just for the meals. That said, a few aspects fell short and left us feeling the overall experience wasn't quite as seamless as the food deserved. First and foremost, the billing transparency issue was disappointing. I ordered the Italian Assorted, made with genoa salami, capicola ham, and spicy ham topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and the signature house Italian dressing on a fresh-baked sub roll. The meat-to-bread ratio was spot on and the ingredients tasted crisp and fresh, but it's the roll that's the star of the sandwich. It has that perfect "crusty on the outside, soft on the inside" texture that most sub shops miss and it's dense enough to hold up to the oil and vinegar in the dressing without getting soggy. The "Everything" roll -- topped with everything bagel seasoning -- adds a great savory crunch. It was, by far, one of the best Italian subs I've had in recent memory. My dining companion and her sometimes-pescatarian father both had tuna subs, which they both enjoyed. The service was also a highlight. Despite being busy with the lunch rush, the team was professional, patient, and engaging with us during the ordering process, even when my dining companion asked the obvious question "What's the difference between the 5" sub and the 7" sub?" (The correct answer is "Two inches.") Most importantly, they got our order exactly right. DiBella's in Cranberry is a great local option when you want a "real" sandwich made with fresh, tasty ingredients but don't have time for a meal at a sit-down restaurant. The vegetable fajitas was more of a block of cheese with some limited vegetables underneath, but it worked. Apply any required hot sauce and condiments. All told, I suspect this is a solid destination if you're aiming for a meat based option. It's a little bit of a stretch to try and find vegetable forward items. That's more of a me problem than a problem with the restaurant. It's certainly a better Mexican destination than I expected to find in Wexford.
