I ordered the Italian Assorted, made with genoa salami, capicola ham, and spicy ham topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and the signature house Italian dressing on a fresh-baked sub roll. The meat-to-bread ratio was spot on and the ingredients tasted crisp and fresh, but it's the roll that's the star of the sandwich. It has that perfect "crusty on the outside, soft on the inside" texture that most sub shops miss and it's dense enough to hold up to the oil and vinegar in the dressing without getting soggy. The "Everything" roll -- topped with everything bagel seasoning -- adds a great savory crunch. It was, by far, one of the best Italian subs I've had in recent memory. My dining companion and her sometimes-pescatarian father both had tuna subs, which they both enjoyed. The service was also a highlight. Despite being busy with the lunch rush, the team was professional, patient, and engaging with us during the ordering process, even when my dining companion asked the obvious question "What's the difference between the 5" sub and the 7" sub?" (The correct answer is "Two inches.") Most importantly, they got our order exactly right. We, also, stopped by Arrowhead winery inside to sample their wines: the lady behind the counter was super helpful and knowledgeable about their wines and the wine-making process. Overall, you will find yourself spending more time and money than you expected but you will, also, be planning your next visit. There is a lot to see outside and we did not get a chance to really investigate the outside as there was so much inside.
