One of my all time favorite places! I have tried the last three times to get a picture of my food but I just always dig in!!! My go to is the breaded chicken and fries with no cheese and ranch but my husband always picks Jerry's sauce. If we are feeling super hungry he will also get an order if mushrooms. Food here tonight tasted like it had been made yesterday. For $30 I got stale bread, ice cold and rock hard fries, chicken tenders that were the consistency of plastic toy food and the Dorsey which looked and tasted like public school lunch. We saw Jerrys on Pittsburgh Today Live today and the food looked decent. We went and the food wasn't. I ordered 2 chicken tenders with Garlic Parmesean sauce. It was basically buffalo chicken and nothing like you would expect garlic parm to be. And the chicken was tough. We also ordered the ham and cheese sandwich. It was $6.00 with hardly any ham. You can get a better fast food deal at Arbys. The food is delivered to your car and once the wait staff leaves your car she doesn't come back to see if you need salt, ketchup, mayo, etc. We didn't finish our meals. It's going in the trash. $36.00 for crap. That included fries, fried mushrooms and a really weak chocolate milkshake. Don't bother. Such a fun throwback to another time! Although their prices weren't necessarily a throwback but they weren't crazy either. It's the whole drive in vibe with carhops, neon and diner food. The burger was ok. The jalapeño poppers weren't very good, the peppers were bitter, not their fault, the coating was too thick and the filling was basic, nothing special. My milkshake was good. Used to be a gem of the valley. Don't waste your time anymore. 2nd time in the last 2-3 months we tried to grab a quick bite here on a Sunday night. Unfortunately on both visits we didn't even get a chance to order due to not even being acknowledged by staff. Multiple cars pulled in after us and were waited on. Today's experience was horrible. Ordered 2 grilled chicken salads and fried mushrooms. $30. Everything came out in their normal serving box. We each took a salad. The dressing was in the bag with the fried mushrooms which were on the bottom of the bag. The mushrooms were not cooked and were ice cold. The chicken and fries on our salads were just as cold. We told our server. She then informed the manager/cook on duty at the time. He came out to the car. Said he cooked the fries and chicken and said they were hot. They might have been but no way to tell how long they say before being served. Oh and for the mushrooms he offered to cook another order. Never apologized, arrogant, and unsympathetic. This is our second time coming here not as busy as the first time which took about 20 minutes from arrival to food this second time was about 15 minutes until we were eating. All food was good no complaints from our kids which is unheard of with them. I got the Dorsey first time cheesesteak this time with jalapeño poppers both were delicious. Can't even pick up the phone still. I have tried to call several times through out 30mins and nothing. Went there the other day and was able to call ahead, however found myself still waiting at the drive thru window while employees ignored us for up to 10mins with 3 cars behind us. I already know how long the wait it going to be to order in person so I'd like to get a head of that and avoid wait time but Jerry's service continues to fail. If it's not the over flowing trash cans, it's the avoidance of waitress and lack of quality and quaintly food. Prices have been raised and portions have been cut. For a wrap and cheese fry it's at least $20 that's not even including drinks. Save your money and hit up a fast food place that'll give you a coupon/better deal and save you time. read more

Used to enjoy going to Jerry's. Tonight wait time was extremely long and food was terrible. Fries were not cooked. Door Dash has ruined a good thing. Service used to be quick, friendly and the food was good. I can't say that the changes they have made within the last year are good. Miss the tray that the food used to be served on. Get rid of Door Dash and bring back the old fashion experience. Trays clipped on door windows, great food and fast service. This USE to be our favorite spot in beaver county until recently. The waitress is insanely rude!! She completely ignored us and waited on multiple cars who pulled in after us. When we tried to get her attention to order, she threw her hand up and started SCREAMING at us to wait our turn! NOT a family friendly atmosphere anymore. She only caters to young boys. We wasted 45 minutes of time and never even got any food. The Standard across the street however is EXCELLENT! I can't believe I never have made the trek here but living 30 miles away I didn't know much about it till some local friends just told me about it and let me tell you, I'LL BE BACK! This brings back memories of childhood drive ups and curb side diners. I absolutely love this place from the friendly staff to the ease of ordering to their respectable decent prices. Definitely try their famous chicken tenders and try their signature dipping sauce. It's a thousand island blend and is delicious. This is a gem of place. This was my first time at Jerry's over the weekend while visiting Pittsburgh. I love its concept and environment! It felt super nice to have actual 'curbside' service. The menu options are a typical display of American cuisine. The only flaw in operations is that we waited quite some time before their staff realized we were waiting to order while parked. My wife and I came here for a throwback meal. We both had the sirloin steak sandwich, hand-cut fries and a shake. The sandwich was great and so were the fries, but we ordered chocolate shakes and they only gave us a splash of chocolate and it wasn't mixed very well. That was the only downer. The buns were stale. The "chopped" steak was definitely not chopped. And the server didn't give 2 craps less when it was brought to her attention. Even though I asked her if it was like a Steak-um and she said yes. They got their money before we had a chance to inspect the food, so why would they care if you're not happy with their crap food? 0 stars for food, service and price. I've been going to Jerry's since kindergarten. We used to go with my mom to get grilled cheese and fries every once in a while. It's the novelty of the place and the food keep me coming back. The food is good, and honestly after trying the entire menu over the years, I usually go with the grilled cheese and fries. It's just a really good grilled cheese. The burgers are good- but number 2 to the grilled cheese is definitely the steak salad with a side of fries. The curbside service is super fun, especially if you have kids along- they bring tons of napkins and everything is packaged with behind the wheel dining in mind. Honorable mention: the Jerry's house dressing is a delicious pink colored thousand island type dressing and it's so good. Swenson's in Ohio is the classic iteration on this theme and I'm glad we have some representation of the car-side diner in Pittsburgh! read more

The waitress who waited on us got an attitude when we questioned the crap steak sandwich I ordered. instead of steak I was given this garbage sandwich that looked like the salsbury steak from school, absolute just crap. .
