Really disappointed that IHOP wouldn't serve our kids after their Junior Prom. The kids were told, "we close in 45 minutes and can't serve you" and turned them away! Your website says you're open late and come in your formal wear. I went today after a long day at work and didn't want to make my kids dinner and I was exhausted and didn't want to be bothered but I had the best server Natasha she was so pleasant and attentive to me and my kids. Went here for the first time after the shelter in place was lift. The restaurant was clean and there was social distancing on the table. Ihop workers were all wearing mask. We were seated right away. Natasha was our server. She was very friendly and kind on the time of visit. She was very attentive. We ordered food to share and she had them divide in two plates without being asked. Even with the crowded restaurant and crowded lobby of large groups waiting to be seated; the staff showed a very calm and welcoming demeanor. We were a group of 11 and were seated reasonably quick. They are open until 10pm, we arrived 9:30pm with only 2 tables taken. The lady asked us to wait for about 5 to 10 minutes because she is attending the tables. She came back 10 mins after which is about 9:40pm saying that the kitchen was already closed. Unacceptable making you wait and very inconsiderate. It was the cook who decided to close the kitchen. I have come here several times. The last time I came in on 8-11-20 I found a hair in my steak and eggs meal. I called back and tried to get a refund. The general Manager told me the money will go back into my account. It never did. I proceed to call back 3 other times all to hear the same thing that the money will go back to my card in a few days. We come here at least once a week because the food is so good and if you have a family of three you can get out without spending a ton of money. We waited a very long time for our meal. Our waitress did not come back even one time to check on our table other than when we asked her. My pancakes were put in front of me with whipped cream spilling all over off the side of the plate. We were not given silverware until we tracked down our waitress. We went for breakfast to this location today. We were told that the wait time was approximately 10 mins but were seated in 8 mins. - under promised and over delivered. Brilliant. We were quickly seated, Lester our waiter was extremely courteous, he introduced himself and our orders were taken promptly. He anticipated our needs well. Order CFS = chicken fried steak. It was fried to a crisp, actually my mistake... didn't hit the spot. Hash browns were burnt, waitress was helpful and immediately got a plate of replacements. Terrible and rude service from our waitress Jazlyn. When we walked in she hollered at us us from m across the room with her back turned, "table, ok?" When she came to take our order, before we started presume I told her, my 2 other coworkers and I will need separate checks. She yelled at me and said, "Wait wait wait! Yelp still doesn't let you give 0 stars. Bummer. This place is not good. First off it took us a while to get our names put on the list. Not because it was busy, but because the staff were behind the counter on their phones. The manager, assuming it was the Filipino lady running around, did nothing about it. Before I get all the hate she was the only one without a uniform and had the springy key/card holder around her arm. So the get us a table and the table was dirty/sticky. Still had empty sugar wrappers on the table. Ordering was quick. Food delivery was quick. Looked completely unappetizing. The pancakes came out well after the food and mine were so cold that the butter didn't even melt. They were also very stale like they were sitting out for a bit. Plus they were really small. Not how I remember it. The server never came back. Our food was brought out by someone else and no one ever came back to check. When the bill came I mentioned the Pancake issue and she apologized, dropped the check and never came back. I took the check to the front to pay and they told me that she had to be my cashier. Well she was avoiding me, and the fact that people were just standing around on their phones left me to get even more upset. It's International House of Pancakes. You would think that they would showcase the Pancakes, but that was the biggest disappointment of the whole meal. Leadership and Culture is what is missing from this place. read more

Worst ihop in America! Website never works (can't process orders), no one ever answers the phone (to place an order). Because you have to order in person, which is moronic given current affairs, you would think you would get all the parts of your order, but noooo. They always forget essential things like syrup for the pancakes you ordered at the international house of freaking pancakes. They forget fries that go with the burger plate you ordered. The salad with the steak dinner you ordered. Oh and don't forget the pancakes that accompany the omelet you ordered. Is it too much to ask for servers to actually read the orders or remember what you ordered since again you are forced to order in person at this sorry location. Jesus. We were seated at a dirty table and then had to ask her to clean it off after placing our menus on the gross table. I got a breakfast burrito and the chicken was disgusting. We have given this location too many chances to fix their inadequate service. Most recently my wife and I went here just this morning with our 5 year old for a breakfast date before school. We sat in the lobby for at least 10 minutes and were never once acknowledged to be seated. My wife and I witnessed the cook eating a sandwich in the kitchen then grab a plate (full of food to be served) and put it up to be taken out to an unsuspecting customer.
