IHOP is know all over for it's good food and delicious pancakes. I visited this particular location on a weekend morning and let me tell you, this place was overly crowded. The wait times were anywhere between 15-45 minutes and you cannot book a reservation online or via phone as it's a first come first served basis. This particular IHOP looked cramped with a small parking space which gets filled very quickly on the weekend. Cars were lining up just to park. During my visit, we ordered the usual, pancakes, omelette, hash browns and fries. Everything was delicious. No complaints over the food. IHOPs are know for their quality of food and this one checked that box for me. If there's anything about this place that I would like to give me opinion on would be the parking and the capacity of operation. During my visit, all the tables around me seemed to be occupied, so I'm not sure if they do operate at some restrictions. The staff had all worn masks but after seeing the amount of cars and the people inside, it raises some questions surely.

I have been coming to this IHOP for 18 years. It's a warm friendly and cozy location. Neil the owner is very friendly and most times on-site his staff are always pleasant and attentive and some have been there from 18years ago. I don't need to comment about the food - the delicious menu speaks for itself!! Don't wait - HOP to IHOP Menlo Park NJ for a delicious time. Order ahead or dine in. Extra parking next door at the hibachi place.

Impressed by the large portions and delicious food. Again, the seats at this location are so tight and cramped but there are barriers for social distancing. The waitress could have been a little more attentive but still pretty decent. We ordered a milkshake and was plentiful. The Belgian Waffle was 10/10. The salad was surprisingly huge and tasty. Everything was satisfactory. There is a huge parking lot for the iHop and they are also located across from the Menlo Park Mall which is really convenient.

This is one of the best IHOP restaurants in New Jersey. I have been coming to this same exact one since I was a little boy. They have such friendly staff that always greet you with a warm welcome and thank you for eating at their restaurant. T-Bone Steak & Eggs: The steak was cooked just the way I liked it medium well. The eggs were scrambled and tastes delicious with pepper and ketchup. Mexican Churro: This was very unique in its own little way and was very delicious making you crave for more. The pancakes were soft and the toppings gave it that extra taste to it. The mini churros was a different taste to it with the sweet cream cheese icing. Mexican Les Treches: This was also unique in its own little way as well. This was actually very delicious and makes your mouth watery. These pancakes were soft as well and the caramel sauce gave it the perfect taste. Overall: The presentation of the food here is fantastic and the staff is very pleasant to deal with. They still do not disappoint after all these years of going to the same restaurant.

Today is my cheat day and I was craving Ihop pancakes so I took the ride down. I ordered the sirloin steak tips with pancakes and hash browns online and it came to a little over $16. When I arrived to pick up my food there were quite a few people waiting in their cars. I went in and they had one person ahead of me. When the server seen me she asked if I ordered online and I told her yes. She took my name and gave me my food. She was very pleasant. When I got home and ate the food was what I expected, good.

I love going to ihop especially for breakfast. Their food is always good and fresh. Always my go to spot

Haven't been here in a few years and then I remembered why. Poor service and cold food that was microwaved to be heated

Place is too small, and the hash browns were like hockey pucks, my daughter, granddaughter and myself got sick after eating there.

Im glad I got to experience the great food. I was a party of 3 and we ordered OJ, coffee, and a hot chocolate. All generic, in a packet but that was ok. I was also excited that they moved to a bigger, brighter space. There's ample parking in the back or street parking which are refreshing changes compared to the old location. *FOOD* The menu has something for everyone, from classic breakfast staples to more creative brunch options. Come hungry -- the portions are generous and everything tasted fresh and made to order. I highly recommend trying their seasonal tiramisu latte (I seriously would order this everyday if I could) and their Tex-Fast Bowl which was decadently delicious. The drink was creamy with a hint of sweetness and definitely lived up to its name. If you're not a brunch lover, they also have other options like burgers, wraps, house specialties, quesadillas, and much much more! *SERVICE* Staff was friendly and welcoming, though the pace could use some improvement which I'm sure they'll figure out over time as they just recently set up in this space. Overall, Maria's Brunch is a great spot in Metuchen that's definitely worth visiting!

A few logistical tips: while there is street parking, a public lot is conveniently located right across the street. The dining room is quite intimate with only about ten tables, and since they don't seem to take reservations, I recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait. If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!

Took 30 mins to get our appetizer, another 20 minutes to order our meals and then another 30 mins to get our food (no I'm not exaggerating it was a near 2 hour experience). Food was good, but when it got to us it wasn't hot and could tell it sitting under a heat lamp for a while. 2 tables got there after us and left before us. Understaffed and/or untrained. I'm really not one to leave a bad review anywhere, but this was just crazy. I really hope we were there on an off day because the place is cool and food was decent, but we just had an awful experience.

There is metered street parking. The hostess indicated that there would be a wait for a table for one, until the other hostess suggested the bar area. So I sat at the bar and waited to be served. My server was super friendly and very attentive. She suggested cafe con maiz, which was pretty good and Im not an iced coffee person. I also ordered the chicken scoop, fried chicken breast with waffle. And thats where my 3 stars come from. For $25, I expected more than a half of waffle and two small fried chicken breast. It was literally half a waffle!!!! The hot sauce that accompanied it was good. Maybe I will come back and try something different next time, but not buying a half waffle for 25 again The ambiance was nice , warm and inviting.
